This has always been one of my favorite mods, glad to see it's still in progress!

A few questions (bug reports? Suggestions)

 

1: When the character is in the cell and it asks me to make changes in the MCM, none of the settings for submissiveness and dominance can be changed. I remember setting them when I started the (new) game (it seemed to be stuck on "slight submissive), but when prompted to make changes it didn't allow it. 

2: When the character is made an ore pony, none of the miners will talk to her to give her ore. They just tell her they're too busy working to talk, or they tell her to go away. Is that supposed to happen?

3: There's no quest markers in this section. I don't know how necessary it is, but for example, when told to put ore in the barrel, there's a number of empty barrels but it doesn't say which one to put it in. I was putting it in the one at the bottom of the ramp. Is that the right one?

I have a Problem after i finished some Quests only the Retrieve and make a Delivery. Master only says one sentence: "Come here for a moment we need to talk." she just repeats this sentence over and over again

Had more or less decided I was done w/ Skyrim and was going to wait for FO4 modding to take off... but this is definitely one I want to play through again.

 

Time to reinstall. :P

If you ask Master she will give you an estimate to the reevaluation, I think. I can only hold so much of the dialogue in my head at any one time.

 

There are some quests that fast travel is disabled but currently only in 1 spot and that makes for a rather difficult return trip for the quest. As for spawning bandits randomly I have not been able to figure that out yet.

 

 

The only thing I see is the dialogue part where she tells you that either >6 days; >3 and <5 days; or <2 days are remaining. If the time remaining is, say, 20 days, I'll just get very frustrated very quickly checking every in-game day to see if anything's changed. Maybe you could add <7 and >13 days, etc. Also, would you mind explaining how does the script figure out how long does my character get locked up for? For example, if I get locked  up for 20 days, why is it the case?

 

 

It should not be 20 days, if so then something is going wrong as it should only be default -1/+2 max. Post a screenshot showing the time in the Task Manager and I will check over the script and see if it is triggering early somehow and adding more time before it should.

 

 

For some reason I'm unable to reproduce it, it's working properly now, giving me 6-8 days as it should. The first time something must've broken or I must've broken something, since it really was 16, and before finding it in the console I had waited good 5-6 days in-game, so 20+ days in total. I had to timescale my way out.

I've been keeping the last mod slots on my current game available for V4 for, what now feels like, and may well be(!), months.  LOL

 

I suppose it won't hurt too much to wait for a little while longer for DDI to be updated by Min and the Team over there, so that its animations are consistent with CD4 - I have been using DDi 3.0beta and then 3.1 for too long now to consider any reversion to prior incarnations - but are you able to give us any idea if they have given any indication as to how long they might be in making the changes needed?  Moving from the DDi 3.0 beta to the 3.1 version took about 3 months or so.  I'm definitely not at all ungrateful, or unduly impatient, but it would be nice to have some idea as to what might be planned, and if we may need to be thinking on a similar period - it's holiday time, after all, and people will be needing a break! 

 

I would guess that there must be quite a few more sitting out here with the same question, so I'm sure that any clues would be welcome :shy:

Most dialogue issues I've come across when playing modded skyrim was caused by the absence of Fus Ro D'oh. Do you have it installed? It would probably break much sooner than after finishing the delivery quests, but it is worth checking.

It is an issue with Customer Assist 02 and a broken Alias. The update I am preparing has this fixed but I need CGi to look at something first.

I'm running DDi 3.1 without a single problem so far. Maybe I'm just lucky, though.

 

 

It only happens in a few planned scenes but there are circumstances where you may be in an armbinder or yoke that was applied elsewhere and end up in a scene and it will stop. It isn't a 100% incompatibility but when it happens it stops things dead.

 

They are working on DDI to fix the issue and should have something soon.

grabbed this update the moment it came out.  I loved the mod from the start.  I never had any real issues with previous generations (other then Elewin quest, where I had to remove all items from inventory).  Now with the newest version I am CTDing quite a bit.  Not sure what is causing it.  papyrus logs have a theme of alias but with different mods right before the crashes.  Finishing the BleakFalls, I cannot re-enter skyrim without CTD.  I tried save cleaner and have no orphans.  Anyone have any ideas?  I would love to hear!  Thank you!

1- If you already spoke with Master then they are set and can't be changed. The line about setting it in the MCM is for those using it as an alternate start.

 

2- Use help CDxSlaveTaskLvl    this should be 4, if not you can set it:   Set CDxSlaveTaskLvl to 4

 

3- The Overseer says the barrel by the ramp and the barrel is specifically named Ore Barrel which is the one at the bottom of the ramp.

Trying to buy anything from Master:

To Master, 'I would like to make a purchase.'  Her response freezes at 'Let me see what you have here...<<may repeat>>'.  It loops forever, or at least for five minutes before the game froze with her in mid-sentence.  I had to Alt+Ctrl+Delete to get out of it.

 

During a 'Make a Delivery' quest:

The dialogue runs until Master says 'Hold still...<<may repeat>>'.  The only item that gets added and equipped is the silver bra.  Plugs are added but I get the message they will not stay in because I do not have a belt on.  After that the belt is never added and like when trying to purchase something, Master goes into an infinite dialogue loop of 'Hold still...<<may repeat>>.  Again I let it go for maybe five minutes until I tabbed out of the conversation.  I restarted the dialogue with her (since the bra was already equipped) but this time she finished and gave me the quest, adding/equipping two more plugs and the belt.  That left me with two unused plugs in my inventory.  When the quest was complete I was paid and the equipped items were removed (the bra from the first try and the belt/plugs from the second.  Master did not take the two extra plugs she gave me the first try.  Just to clarify, I never did a delivery quest while not being on Free Trial.  This was the first instance of me going through the quest dialogue to get belted and plugged.  My toon's stats are still basically the same as in this post but I now have a Good relationship with Master and 7 deliveries completed with no failures.

 

None of the Quest are Starting and There is no New Dialogue for Nessa, Tessa or Master:

The NPCs mentioned are not adding new lines to the 'Did you want something from me?' player dialogue option.  It is the same one they've had since I started the mod.  And none of the quest are starting.  No Tavish, no Falkreath, nothing.  And your courier is MIA.  I've made it a point to fast travel to unwalled open towns like Riverwood (where I first met her) and nothing.  These bugs, well they bug me because all I can do with the mod is make deliveries, retrieve deliveries or work in the mine.  Everything else is dead.  Is it because I'm not a slave, or is it something else?  I'm stumped.

I get to the the property slave part in the manor dungeon, Master finishes with Ariisa she orders Heron that I get taken to barracks, Herron says : come with me, the screen goes fuzzy then nothing, Im stuck cant move & still starring at Heron in the dungeon.

Played a bit more today, enjoyed the shit out of the property slave questline. I was trying out to be a good little slave because I want to test manor slave. It progressed nearly bug or problem free until stage 13, where I was told to get a package from the solitude lighthouse. There it bugged out big time...

1) The package refused to follow me. Regardless of me telling her to follow or to stay, she stayed put at the lighthouse.

2) The first time around, fast travel wasn't disabled, but after a reload it was.

3) I ran back to the shop without the package and used "moveto player". Master told me to get her to the manor basement. I went there and used "Moveto player" again. The cutscene progressed correctly (I guess), but after that, when Herran (?) should take me to the barracks, the screen faded to black, came back and all of us stayed put in the basement.

4) With "enable player controls" I went to the barracks myself and noticed that Herran had become a follower of sorts. Nothing happened there, so I slept. The next morning I went to the smithy and all of them were there. Master, Herran, the lot. I disabled player controls again and was walked back to the manor basement. Once there, the screen faded to black again and I was in the barracks. I got told to wait until later. After a couple of hours I was transferred to the manor.

5) At the manor, the "manor slave" quest started, but I got no broom and no outfit. Talked to Markus (?) and he told me to sweep and chop wood, but without broom I couldn't do shit. At this point, I quit for the day.

6) Log attached.

7) Any console commands to fix that or do I have to reload an earlier save and hope for the best?

 

Some other observations:

- In the mine and most of all in the smithy I experienced a severe framerate drop whenever I went into and exited the menu (be it pause, MCM or other menus) or loaded a game. It took between seconds and several minutes until the game ran smoothly again.

- I also had trouble with No'dra and her desire to tie me up without reason.

- Whenever you don't follow the correct timeschedule, things get strange. An example: when I came back from the strange dwemer thingy mission, it was night time (around 3 am). De'zra told me to take the next day off. I did that and got chewed out for not doing my work.

- The folks in the smithy get very annoying over time when the keep repeating their one text line over and over when the player gets near them.

nah i just explore stuff :D i saw the MCM option but i wanted to understand whats happening ^^

and i test the stuff and want to see the quests.

 

but atm i run in a lot of bugs:

 

Bug 1: As Pony there are no ores. (Started via MCM and 4 days jsut waiting)

Bug 2:  The stuff after the pony does nothing. i get lead outside but nothing happens. I can tlak with the people and can trigger the stuff via dialog but raccan says only . and some stuff like SC:F/NPC:M appears. and nothing happens

Bug 3: After 8 PM some rly wierd script leading home to the mine but it bugs in front of the mine on the stairs and the gate in the mine

 

i try to make saves for you and post the logs for you. I have a near minimal installation (just dependecies + clothes + Cursed Loot) atm because its a fresh install.

 

I had similar problems. 

 

When leashed to the post I see messages appear that suggest a check is happening to see if npcs are going to make public use of the character. Raccan just stands there mouth moving. If you try speaking to him you get a message like you described and different dialogue options for pre-sex acts but then nothing happens. 

 

It seems like the after 8pm leash is trying to take the character to some cages just past the smithy but partway there she stops and then just starts wandering back and forth or stops still. 

 

Is this a known issue that's being addressed, or there's a fix for it or is this some sort of conflict I have to figure out?

If this has been talked about, my apologies... just point me in the right direction.

 

Problems:

 

1. My PC property slave cannot mine.  2.Also the mine foreman goes threw the "new slave" speech repeatedly without stopping.

 

I started a new game and used alternate start/I am a slave/captured dreams... to start the scenario.  I activated the complete expansion before I went to the lady to choose a new life.   The part where the Master interviews me went great, but after that, when the foreman spoke to me... he would get through his whole dialog, give me clothes and a pickaxe; BUT if I don't move away from him, he will start the whole dialog part again giving me another set of clothes and a pickaxe.  If I stayed there he would have given me an endless supply... lol.

 

When I hurried away from him in order to mine, when I found a vein nothing would happen when I press 'E'.  There would be a little skip in the animation like something was supposed to happen, but nothing would happen.

 

Thx in advance for any advice.

Edited --  I went back and started again, and got past the problems above, EXCEPT that when my PC tried to mine I got the message:  "You quickly sit down, trying to avoid moving the plugs inside"... so she still wasn't able to mine  =/

There is something really strange going on since i've installed CD 4 and updated cursed loot to 5.6. The game, that was pretty stable, is now crashing and acting weird. The latest issues i'm having are that it;s now crashing on save.
'm not sure if i;m supposed to have that many errors in the papyrus log, but if someone could have a look it will be great. I'll attach and my load order, just in case.

Confiscation is trying to run and is having an issue. It is set to look through your inventory, catalog any DD items and then place some one you and take the rest. Disable Confiscation and it should let you sell items again.

 

During a 'Make a Delivery' quest:

The scripts to equip quest items is new and seems to get stuck at times, not sure why as it is set up the same as the normal one was. If that happens tabbing out of the dialogue should get it going again (usually does for me). I may have to rebuild that script (again).

The courier has a line of triggers, one for the level up which triggers the courier to be dispatched then triggers that go off when you enter new cells which it checks for habitation and such.

 

How Tavish shows up is different in that he wil be a guest in the VIP house (non session guest), once he arrives the quest is available. The Task Manager checks at regular intervals and if the room is clear there is a random chance he will be the next one to use it. Once he arrives the first time he comes back more often.

 

The other quests are checked at regular intervals, when checked if you qualify for the quest there is a random chance it will be given. The chance increases as your level does. I did this since they can only be done once. They can be triggered by console by setting the stage 1 or 2 stages in to the quest.

 

The quests move at a much slower rate than they did in v3 but as I add more quests there will be more things going on regularly.

Which version of DDi are you using? Cursed Loot requires 3.1.

 

Most of the errors though look minimal and are typically things that a mod looks for in another mod.

 

I will say that if you are still using any of the addon's that were from v3 of CD remove them as they would cause instability.

The update coming will fix this. Try not to rush the dialogue and let it finish normally as it has a walkaway dialogue set up (which I should not have) so it repeats if dropped out of early. This is keeping you from mining.

Thank you Vel, it seems i've missed that 5.6 requires ddi 3.1. I've re-rolled from 3.1 to 2.9.2 since that's what CD 4 requires until ddi 3.1 get's fixed/updated :-(

Any suggestions what cursed loot version i should use with ddi 2.9.2?

Probably 5.4 but I am not entirely sure. You can use DDi v 3.0 beta and use v 5.5 I believe which is fine with CD.

 

 

The DD team is in the process of making the changes so DDi and CD will work together properly and should be available soon.

Thank you Vel, you're doing really an amazing job, i love your work and how you always find the time to help everyone :) Keep up the good work i can't wait to get to the shop and see all the changes :)) Now i'm back to updating/reinstalling mods and then the 30 minutes joy of setting all up in the mcm section :)))

For some reason, after starting the first quest (delivery) I can no longer save my game. Saving causes an instant CTD. 

Does anyone know what might be causing this? I do not have this problem outside of Captured Dreams.

Thank you for this!  I found that when I repeated the startup as you describe above, I was able to get past the overseer talk and go to mining.

 

However, my female PC still couldn't mine because when she started mining this message came on -- "you sit down suddenly, trying to avoid moving the plugs inside"... or something like that.
