At the part where my character gets equipped with an armbinder, my character begins to be walked to a doorway, and the screen fades to black. It then goes away, the character follows the guards into the stairwell, the guards disappear, and the game freezes. Any ideas on how to fix this? EDIT: Seems to have decided to work after trying for the fifth time. Maybe because I toggled tgm? Edited February 12, 2015 by FlugelhornMasterX

There are several poses for each option, if it keeps changing on its own then something is activating her and triggering the switch. @Veladarius found some dialogue lines, that apparently trigger when you try to go through the gate in the Mine. And the Guard doesnt let you pass. Is this implemented already, or is this part of the v4 quests and stuff? To exit the mine you use the pull chain which starts a scene to release you. It should be set up so it will release you no matter what at this point but I can set it so the guards refuses to let you out and is used by v4 ok, first new game in a while, due to some massive DD updates so before i reach the shop to determine if anything else is broken, i'm just curious if the letter from the shop was intentionally removed in the latest updates to find the shop manually thru exploration or if this is another devious bug i'm getting from the dd updates edit: i'll try the new cd 3.84 update and see if that helps anything V3.83 had dialogue issues on the localized versions (I broke them on accident) but v3.84 works. The esp used as default now is the standard one and the localized one is optional (German only).

I'm having and have been having a problem with 2. it doesn't break anything, it's just weird seeing her change positions every 2 seconds (literally). Also, when I speak to Erani and use the option "It's time to please" with the ring in my inventory and selecting the appropriate option of the 2, the game tries to remove the belt and bra but they immediately get re-equipped as if the ring is the wrong key. No idea what mod would be causing this. For Erani's items try opening her inventory and try taking the items from her, also take any other items you want her to keep later. After that, reset her inventory (resetinventory) and it should just put back 1 set of items. I am not entirely sure how well this will work.

Can't remember the name of the mod, but if you have one that enables you to change people clothing with a ring, there's an option there where you lock/unlock wardrobe sets so that they cant be changed. It sounds like yours is on "locked", if you have the mod, that is. If she is changing positions that fast then a mod is querying her that quickly (which seems excessive to me). Does this mean the positions are supposed to change, but much slower? If so, is there maybe a console command to stop this or change it to the original value?

The esp used as default now is the standard one and the localized one is optional (German only). ok, that means the update wasn't related to my issue then, still sounds good to have gotten it for later usage, but i noticed after updating there's still no indication to have upgraded so i looked around the mcm for cd and noticed a "main framework reset" button and pressed it not only did the 3 letters show up in my inventory as tho already delivered, but the bra i was locked into that i couldn't see in my inventory to identify was there as well fully functional, so i'm calling this resolved thanks to the reset you put into a great mod

My character was wearing the soul stone nipple jewelry and everything was displaying fine however after the upgrade the nipple gems do not appear. Could that be a function of the upgrade? Did I miss something? I vaguely recall that at one time the jewelry was not CBBE bodyslide compatible but that there was a fix. Any guidance would be welcomed. Thanks

Thanks Did you remember to update Devious devices? They made some huge changes with regards to various slots including nipple piercings in the 2.9 update.

In addition I have Devious Assets CBBE Bodyslide 2.75 which should make them all bodyslide compatible as I understand it. Not a change from before. I hit free camera and took a look inside the body shell but there is no sign of the nipple jewelry at all. i.e. it does not appear to be misaligned inside the body. I run a basic CT77 body with no upper body changes. Could this be a slot change or issue? I noticed I could no longer equip some specialty armor items anymore although I also stripped off all other gear to see if there was a compatibility issue and the problem with the jewelry persists. Hmm OK, I tried a few Ah nipple piercings as a test and despite wearing a set of soul stone nipple piercings I can also simultaneously wear the AH ones. (Again the soul ones do not show up). So there must be a slot issue as well as potentially something else. Is it possible that devious devices change the soul stone nipple piercing slots to one that is normally invisible?

It sounds like yours is on "locked", if you have the mod, that is. Nah the only mod I have that lets me manage other NPC's inventories is Amazing Follower Tweaks which I have not used on Erani. Also I tried clearing Erani's inventory (console "opencontainer 1") and used resetinventory. Still the same problem. I see the belt and bra come off only to immediately go right back on. I though maybe when I upgraded some mods, something overwrote Erani's set so I reinstalled CD. I guess one of the other mods I have is not allowing for them to ocme off, but no other items or NPC's (with other sets) have this same problem. Tried using the set on my own character and the belt and bra come off fine when I equip the ring.

I was just ruling out the obvious, but if you're already up to date: You haven't specified which "specialty armor" you can't seem to see equiped anymore, but I'm guessing it's not CD gear alone, so you probably have an issue with Devious Devices instead of CD and might get more help if you ask in the DDi support thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21484-devious-devices-integration-02022015/page-300 I'm not a dev of DD, but my first guess is they will point out that the CT77 body isn't supported by their mod, but that shouldn't mess with sudden missing equipment; that would change alignment of the gear, cause clipping and lack of bbp alignment as such. They might ask you to turn off device hider, a function of DD, possibly why some items are invisible. They will also likely ask you to confirm that you get this behavior on a new game, since 2.9 is recommended with a new game and you upgraded and some items retain some of their values between updates/upgrades. At the least, try an old save where no items were worn by the character at the time. You don't NEED a new save, I and most others had no issues upgrading but I clean save regularly due to high number of high script mods. I would double-check that the bodyslide conversion you're using has been updated since the main devious devices mods released the 2.9 versions. The piercing slot change sounds like it could be the issue. If the conversion's nipple piercing nifs are from before 2.9 they'll be set for a different slot than the one devious devices now uses, and unless an item's armour, armour add-on and nif are all set for the same slot, it will be invisible in the game.

EDIT: Seems to have decided to work after trying for the fifth time. Maybe because I toggled tgm? I'm having a similar problem at the same point. I get the armbinder then just stand there. I've tried it a dozen times, and tried the "disable player controls" option. It did work one time, but in the following scene my character walks over to Elenwen and just stands there. I can't get any further and I'm pretty frustrated, ready to just give up
Veladarius Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 ok, first new game in a while, due to some massive DD updates so before i reach the shop to determine if anything else is broken, i'm just curious if the letter from the shop was intentionally removed in the latest updates to find the shop manually thru exploration or if this is another devious bug i'm getting from the dd updates edit: i'll try the new cd 3.84 update and see if that helps anything V3.83 had dialogue issues on the localized versions (I broke them on accident) but v3.84 works. The esp used as default now is the standard one and the localized one is optional (German only). ok, that means the update wasn't related to my issue then, still sounds good to have gotten it for later usage, but i noticed after updating there's still no indication to have upgraded so i looked around the mcm for cd and noticed a "main framework reset" button and pressed it not only did the 3 letters show up in my inventory as tho already delivered, but the bra i was locked into that i couldn't see in my inventory to identify was there as well fully functional, so i'm calling this resolved thanks to the reset you put into a great mod I am glad that resolved it, not entirely sure what the issue was though. I recently upgraded from 3.81 to 3.84. I am continuing with an already existing game. My character was wearing the soul stone nipple jewelry and everything was displaying fine however after the upgrade the nipple gems do not appear. Could that be a function of the upgrade? Did I miss something? I vaguely recall that at one time the jewelry was not CBBE bodyslide compatible but that there was a fix. Any guidance would be welcomed. Thanks I am running Assets and integration 2.9 and expansion 1.2. In addition I have Devious Assets CBBE Bodyslide 2.75 which should make them all bodyslide compatible as I understand it. Not a change from before. I hit free camera and took a look inside the body shell but there is no sign of the nipple jewelry at all. i.e. it does not appear to be misaligned inside the body. I run a basic CT77 body with no upper body changes. Could this be a slot change or issue? I noticed I could no longer equip some specialty armor items anymore although I also stripped off all other gear to see if there was a compatibility issue and the problem with the jewelry persists. Hmm OK, I tried a few Ah nipple piercings as a test and despite wearing a set of soul stone nipple piercings I can also simultaneously wear the AH ones. (Again the soul ones do not show up). So there must be a slot issue as well as potentially something else. Is it possible that devious devices change the soul stone nipple piercing slots to one that is normally invisible? Both the nipple and vaginal soulgem piercings from Assets had the slots changed on them but if you are wearing them when updating the ones you have won't update, you will need to get rid of those entirely and get new ones.

Most of the bound packages have 2-4 poses that will change if Erani is activated in some way (same as the slaves in the shop) so if it is constantly changing something is constantly doing something to her. As for the Bashed Patch it is most useful for merging Leveled lists so multiple mods that change the same leveled list by adding / removing items can all have an effect on it, otherwise the last esp to load will be the one to change a specific item.
badbat111 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 could the device comments and devious enslaved mods cause it ? i know enslaved makes it so npc comes running up to demand sex which is why i removed it it pissed me off with wearing a collor from a clothes mod not device mod to have some piss ants run up demand sex then force the player to have sex worse with the fucking couriers when some mods have him run upto you at the start of the game where he doesnt piss off just like a stalker (i have something for you your hands only) little shit should get a blow up doll to give him a handjob

prideslayer Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Vel, FYI there's a bug in the date calculation for the customer trigger, and possibly others if you've used the same code in several scripts -- I haven't looked. You're not saving/setting the meeting year, just the month and date. This means if you're given the assist job after the next available day in the current month, the quest immediately progresses to stage 100 (failed/missed) if it's the last month of the year. I know that the date comparing stuff can be complicated checking all these rollovers so in real life code, my solution has always been to just use a BIND serial date or unix epoch date or something similar. You can convert the current date to something that works by just doing "currentEpoch = (CurrentYear * 10000) + (CurrentMonth * 100) + CurrentDay" That will result in simple integers like 4850101, with the format "YYYYMMDD" that you can just compare for greater/less/equality.
