I will give that a try. I am also trying to have the guard come back a day later to release the player if they are not out.

 

In the meantime you could also try the store locking thing on the cage. With that I mean the script that locks all stores at night and unlocks them during the day.

Teleport/move the player to the cage at night and in the morning it auto-unlocks. Or have a NPC walk to it when it unlocks.

Right now, what I have set up is the cage door is normally locked at all times. If you don't get out within 24 hours the guard from the shop will come and let you out. I have not tested it as of yet though.

i finshed the quest and got the belt and plugs removed..

but it still shows that the plugs are there but they aren't in my inventory

 

Yeah, that is something I need to correct in the next version. Unequip everything go into the console and do 'showinventory' on the player. Look for an item that is still equipped and use removeitem on it. If you have a lot of stuff put it in a container first to make it a bit easier.

I mean is it only possible to succeed or are there different quests with chances to fail

I mean all i say is take this to city X get back, get gold

Also i can t seem to unlock devices with keys from this mod ....since last update

I have Devious Devices assets and integration installed successfully, but trying to activate this mod, or devious + submit, or for the masses, results in an instant CTD on the menu.

 

Any idea what might cause this?
 

My load order has the .esm below all other ESM's, and the .esp's below all other ESP's. I avoid using BOSS because it places the unofficial dragonborn patch above the unofficial skyrim patch for some reason.

Have you install SexLab, SexLab Aroused, ZAZ Animation Pack and all its requirements?

The current release does not have any way to fail the delivery quest, I am working on changing that for the next release. I am working on additional quests, currently have one to go and recover a delivery from bandits, can fail that by chickening out. Also I am working on several scenes for punishments and rewards. I have one done and am working on another now.

 

Is the items that won't unlock one of the items for sale or is it the items added during the quest? Anything on you after the quest is done should unlock with a normal key.

If you are getting a CTD after updating to Integration v 2.6.6 then you have not updated the other Devious Devices mods that use it. Captured Dreams, DD + Submit and For the Masses have all been updated (same day as Integration) and using the older versions will result in CTD.

Don't mean to be that kind of pester, but what is the status on the next update? Are you still shooting for this weekend, or are you waiting for something to happen with DD (assets) and Integration?

I am going to wait for the updates to Assets and Integration as there are a few changes to items and several new ones. Just totaled the number of phases in the new punishment, currently at 36 phases with a number of them being repeated. I have added a few small things outside the shop as well. for use in some scenes. Making scenes is getting a bit faster as I make AI packages and are able to reuse ones I already made. I have been writing a fair bit of dialogue as well. Next is making/testing ways for the delivery to be stolen during the quest.

Hmmm, according to TES5EDIT, it cannot find a file called Devious Devices - Integration.esm, but I only have a .esp file. There's no .esm in the archive at all, but clearly it's the file I'm missing. Where can I get it?

 

To be clear, I have the .esp activated and working, but not the integration master file.

 

Edit: According to this error here, I'm utterly retarded.

 

I downloaded the wrong goddamn version of Devious Devices. >.<

44 phases spread over 11 scene segments lasting over 2 days and no getting out of this one early.

Have you removed the orrigonal sign? Cause that was pretty neat... implies more than just a shop.

Shop sign is not removed, it is just out of view to the left. Maybe think of it as the special of the day?

Did a quick total of a few things on what is included in this at the point I am at now (total content)

 

11 npc's with a total of 476 lines of dialogue (all but the delivery quest has been rewritten)

3 mini-mannequin displays

2 quests with 38 possible destinations

2 punishment scenes comprised of 64 phases with custom AI packages

 

 

Still to do for next release:

 

1 reward scene, more if I can

probably 50+ lines of dialogue

a number of scripts to write

some bug fixes

add the new items being released

Hm. Can't wait to try that new quests! And what do you think about to put player in full slavery? In situation when you lose 3-4-5-... deliveries master could say that standart punishments does not work on you and she has something special...

May be not in this update. May be not in next. But I think that this is VERY attractive idea.

It is something I have been thinking about. I plan for the player to be able/forced to submit to the Master and take care of any tasks that may need done. There are a number of quests that I have plans for that will work well with it. As for becoming a full time slave I have some things in mind but it would probably be under a different master and you would either stay and do whatever menial tasks he has for you or try to escape. That would probably not be for some time as I am looking to have its own small worldspace about the size of the one for Castle Dawnguard with very limited access to the outside world.
