Do you use Live Another Life and have you been to Helgen? That will put him somewhere until it is started.

 

Indeed I do and after a quick trip to Helgen he was back to chilling in his throne. I'd suggest moving the quest target to another NPC since most people by now use Live Another Life and give Helgen and the main story line a wide berth until very very bored.

SetStage 210 had Brunwulf go get the slave, and I stand there while the slave walks past me and out of the palace of kings, and I can't move

 

This has an AI package set for her so she should stay there even without the scene, at least until the scene ends and she is supposed to follow you.

ok i am very confused the update log says expansion of the grounds and there is a picture of it. but when i update i still only have the one cabin.

is this suppose to for now or might i have done something wrong??

During Free trial when i declined to try devices on i got stuck with disabled controls.

My bet is Game.SetPlayerAIDriven(false) or animationevent line is missing there.

I must be really stupid or something because when I updated to v3.1 I went straight to the shop... but there was no expansion to the grounds no new npc's just the vanilla shop. But im sure that I updated something because master's Dialogue has overhauled and there where new drop off locations for the delivery quest...

 

This is what the my grounds look like in v3.1

Hopefully that'll be the last time I have to bug you, but now she comes out, stays just outside the door to the and so do I, scene sticks there, no dialogue or movement.

I ahhh... hate to be the one to confirm your own suspicion but ahhhh....

 

 

 

The old shop is replaced over time, as you complete the new quests and just generally over time. Each new building and feature and clusters of NPCs each has it's own time and quest that will trigger it into being/finish being built.

 

First step is get to level 8. At that point you should find a small camp set up a small distance behind the old shop...

 

Do errands, about 6 should do (so long as you succeed on them all) and then head to a major city to find a story-quest Courier. They'll come running up to you and hand you a note from Master. You read it, and are given a quest to go talk to her.

 

Go talk to her, ask about jobs (the exact line to choose is surrounded in "<  Ask about Jobs  >" but with the correct wording. In that dialog tree will be a new option to talk about the job-letter she sent you.

 

From here, you just complete the quest, wait a few days, visit another major city, get another job letter and so on and so on. With each quest you complete the Captured Dreams landscape changes. By the time you finish everything, the place it barely recognizable. Note: Completing Errands had no visible difference on the Captured Dreams Estate and it's development. Completing the "Expansion Quests" is necessary.

 

I honestly really like this approach. Watching things get built, seeing the raw materials laying around and people working, only to visit a few days and a quest later to see a new building to explore and poke around in. Though, a few bugs (likely conflicts with my mods though), I was able to eventually get past them all and complete the "Main Story Expansion Questline" and I can say I'm very happy with the mod as it stands. I know it was an incredible amount of work, and I personally appreciate all the non-sexy-time work that went into this.

 

Will raise a mug tonight for the V-man.

It doesn't happen all at once, you'll eventually see a camp with workers near the shop, then a few days later something else will appear, and a few days after that something else.  In other words, it works more like real life, instead of like video games :-)

Man I am stupid :| but thanks for pointing that out... I think im just so use to just loading in a mod and it is all just instantly there...

Skipping the you're-stupid bit, but yes, I believe our V-man overlord has indeed gone far and beyond the call of duty with this mod... most mods do not go to this level. They just have you install it and boom, everything is available right away. Captured Dreams rewards your efforts, has progression and story, which frankly is lost in most mods which just plop down a new building and go, "Well there you go, have fun kids."

 

I am really, really looking forward to continued development of this mod.

Just updated to v3 and installed the patch but am having trouble getting it working. When I speak to the Master about jobs the only options I have are the original  delivery and retrieval jobs.

Also the delivery job seems to be broken, bandits never show up despite being set to a 100% chance and there's no speech option to complete the delivery when I arrive.

There should be some dialogue, click on her in the console and use moveto player, it may be she is too far away (I likely need to change the marker the package is pointing at.

Reloaded and moved myself right to her before the SetStage command, same effect.

Just updated to v3 and installed the patch but am having trouble getting it working. When I speak to the Master about jobs the only options I have are the original  delivery and retrieval jobs.

Also the delivery job seems to be broken, bandits never show up despite being set to a 100% chance and there's no speech option to complete the delivery when I arrive.

 

In order to get the "Expansion Questline" going you have to be level 8 and be in good standing with the Master (about 6 successful errands should do) and then visit a major city. A courier will run up to you and give you a letter from the master. Read it, and then ask her about jobs again, there will be a new option to click then.

 

For a further step by step, check out my previous post (which I've now pasted 4-5 times and I think I might get charged with spam if I post it again).

Still not getting any bandits on delivery missions

 

Going on to the retrieval missions, there's a problem when the retrieval is at a site which has been cleared already as there are no longer any bandits to stop the pc just wandering in and picking up the delivery from the dead courier. This was the same with the earlier version so not a new issue, could these locations be repopulated (preferably with some tough bandits) when an area has been cleared?

Some locations would have to be altered.  One of my recent retrievals had been taken by the Imperials, so its not like they're going to attack a Legate for doing a non-criminal act.

There was a command to start a scene that was missing. This script should fix it, unzip it into the data folder and it will put them in the proper place.

I need a little help here with The Surprise:

 

 

I'm back at the manor with Erani, Master gave me the rundown on my new pet, I have the Caring for Your Slave book, but none of the options described in the book are available, just the lines for a vanilla follower. Telling her to follow me doesn't open any new dialogues. The "I need you to do something" topic doesn't seem to have any new commands either. I don't have a vanilla home - this is a new game and character and I don't have Breezehome yet. I took Erani to a custom home I use but no dialogue to let her know this is her new home was available. Is this part functional yet or is this a bug? Do I need a vanilla home?

Thanks for the reply, not sure why i am getting these errors though lol. the mods that involve these scripts have been uninstalled for months! Do you have a set stage command for the next scene to see if i can get through? (Sorry for being a pain!)

I seem to have run into a problem with the second expansion quest at the Thalmor Embassy. I was able to get through the first day just fine, but when the second day starts and the guards want to get a little action while cleaning you, the game will crash when they want to have sex. This first happened last night, and for some reason it would only crash when it was the second guard's turn. It was late, so I figured I would get some sleep and then look into it today. However, now the game crashes when the first guard tries to have his turn, and this time I also get a Visual C++ error window of some sort, but I can't look at it because Skyrim's crashed black screen blocks everything but the task manager.
 
I'm not sure what to make of this, it seems like it could be something with Captured Dreams or with SexLab, but I don't know which. I've included a log, and unfortunately I managed to do something that causes a lot of Captured Dreams errors when the game loads, however it is just standard SexLab animation selection and alignment when the log ends. Are my Captured Dreams scripts just too borked on this save?

 

 

I had crashing issues in the same point with SexLab:

The latest version of SexLab was supposed to stop these but I still get them. Usually when I do get them (usually in the first scene with Elenwen) reloading a save from just beforehand (you can save while the scene is animating you not sexlab) will usually clear it up for me.

 

 

 

The game crashing when an animation starts is Sexlab. The C++ error is Skyrim demonstrating how poorly it handles memory. These crashes are not because of CD and there's not much you can do about it. The other thing that causes crashes is Sexlab Aroused. For that, may I recommend "Sexlab Aroused Redux". It has greatly improved the stability of my game.

 

Thanks for the advice. I tried making a few adjustments to my SexLab settings to see if anything would help, but it probably didn't do anything. I still got crashes, but I was able to quick save and reload a few times until I got through the cleaning scene. After that, the rest of the Embassy quest went without a problem. It was a lot of fun and I loved all the ominous foreshadowing, great job Vel. Gonna try to finish up the final two quests tonight, can't wait to try 'em.

 

 

I made a lot of adjustments and reduced the number of crashes I was having with the last version of SexLab, I was getting them at the start of every sex scene. After the adjustments I made I got it down to 1 crash per run through for me.

 

 

okay i am completely stuck on the bit after ailus gets caught, seems to crash as soon as i am taken back to the cell. I am using V3.1.

You have a lot of errors from CWAttackCityScript and FestivalEndScript, they are likely causing the issues.

 

HI all I have a problem with the second task for master:

 

When I came to the thalmor embassy fine it let the PC come in, fine elenwen have two scene of sexe, send the PC in the cell but when shen is back to "have fun" the door stay locked and nothing other append elenwen stay here, do nothing, and say nothing. I've try to reload the save, stop and relaunch the game but nothing change and stay like that, ha and yes i'm using version 3.1.

Open the console, click on the door and unlock it, that should let it advance.

Delivery quest also seems to only fit the open belt and tormentor plugs, unless this was intentional I'm suspecting the install hasn't worked correctly

In the main captured dreams folder?  If so, that was NOT the problem, standing frozen next to Erani again. :-(

Great work. I started with a save game where I updated but with no quests running. Did not work so good. Made a save without Captured Dreams and then reinstalled it. The Jarl's quest, the Master would end the conversation when I said I got her letter. Have not tried with a new clean save so it is probably just my game.
