One more for you: if I compact and flag the Toast Guro Outfits to ESPFE, will that break detection in PDA? They're just outfits, but that mod isn't flagged as ESL. Bit of a waste of a precious slot. If the formids are hard-coded in PDA, then I believe that compacting the .esp would break PDAs detection, unless I'm mistaken.

For your patch, it includes two .esp files, one of which is not flagged as ESL. Is it safe to convert this file to ESPFE by compacting formids, or are the formids hardcoded into the scripts?

They are hardcoded, yeah, so it will break

It must be safe to any convertion, cause scripts use names, not ID's as i remember, but don't sure. As i said all modifications made through scripts, ESP/ESL contains only "quests" to create custom variable types for compilation purposes, you don really need to enable or use them, if you don't wanna recompile something.
If you want to use this patch you need only overwrite through MO exactly same scripts in Neko's mod, and use his esp's

I found some problems in the Player Death Aftermath.esp in xedit. One seems to have a problem with a pama object reference and the other one is something with the pda cells:

When getting the generic harvest meat scenario, my character is teleported seemingly to some room in Solitude (I assume by the architecture). However, after teleport, nothing happens: no dialogue, no NPC speaking, nothing. I see a pama spitroast activator in front of me, but activating it just puts my character hovering over the spitroast, nothing piercing her, no animation, nothing. This scenario seems to be broken for me.

FWIW, the scene seems to work if I trigger it via the MCM. But if my character is sent there through the Corpse Emporium (aka, death by bandit for example), the scene doesn't work.

 

BTW, what scenes use the toast guro stuff other than the beheading and head on a pike? Maybe I haven't died enough yet, but I've yet to really see any meat harvesting or something. There are so many great parts of that mod!

There are quite a lot of scenes that I dont fully remember which uses Toast Guro stuffs. Creatures do use Toast stuffs, I think all variants of it.

After installing this mod, I can trigger post-death events, but I noticed the character becomes transparent? I tried refreshing bodyslide, but it still doesn't work. What could be causing this? I've installed all the prerequisite mods.

Yes, but I encountered the same issue before. After the Dragonborn was killed by the Forsworn, their body parts also became transparent following dissection and magical processing. So I believe this has nothing to do with the Pama's Sovngarde mod,anyway, thank you very much for your reply.

Could be an issue with Toast Guro Outfit then. Try equipping one outside PDA.

Would you add that feature in a future update? I think it would be a nice addition, thanks for all the work you've already put in.

As for PDA having PaSo integration, the answer is no and will not be any time soon. PDA is never designed to have continuity, in which player can continue the game after the scene is done. My reasoning is that when you die in game, a lot of things may breaks when you are resurrected and continuing the game, so I rather people load the game instead of thinking they can continue the game and ended up bricking their save.

PaSo afaik does not actually kill the player but only simulates it, so continuity is possible." This is a great explanation and pretty true thanks.

Thank you for your reply and valuable feedback. I sincerely apologize for not responding promptly, as I haven't logged into Loveslab these past few days. After testing, I confirmed the issue was indeed caused by the Toast Guro Outfit. Although I had previously refreshed all outfits using bodyslide, this didn't resolve the problem. Upon reviewing the comments section for the Toast Guro Outfit, someone suggested using bodyslide to individually rebuild each model of the outfit. After trying this method, the issue was successfully resolved. The body is now visible. However, a new issue has emerged. Since the protagonist was previously roasted to death by the vampire noble and even brushed with barbecue sauce (lol), the body is red. Yet, when the protagonist appears in Songgard, the body is normal, but the head remains red. I don't understand what this problem is.

Technically this should be in PaSo thread

But yeah you can try using Pama Deadly Furniture MCM to remove the face overlay or something. Just look it up in the MCM menu.

New Version Player Death Aftermath 3.1.0

 

Requires running FNIS/Nemesis/Pandora/Whatever you use


Also clean save is recommended scene broke

 

New Scenario:

  • Civil War - Stormcloak Execution (Rape, Implied torture, execution)
    • Unconscious route 
    • Die to Stormcloak as an Imperial
    • Support up to 4 followers

 

  • Spider
    • Die to spiders (Not the Dwemer or the Solstheim spider, maybe)
    • Support up to 4 followers

 

Also PDA Acheron Patch is now ESL, get the new version with ESL in the name.

With the new spider outcome, I'm having an issue where my character clips through the floor and falls infinitely. This is after the final event, when the Skyrim death music/sound plays.

 

Something similar happens when dying to giants, but I suspect that's just general Skyrim weirdness with giant physics and a low-level character.

 

Is this a known issue, or does anyone know any solutions or workarounds?
