Thanks for this, is it safe to install (not updated) with an existing game or will I need to start a new one?

 

So long as you are using Integration 2.6.6 (either new install or on a new game after updating) Captured Dreams is safe to install. The reason for restarting is Integration moved from an esp in 2.6.5 to an esm in 2.6.6 and it breaks the scripts on an existing game.

If anybody has OBIS installed, do they get the keys and other items? I have yet to see any item on a bandit and want to see if it a load order thing or if it just won't work.

So long as they use the standard outfit lists it should work. I will see if I can download it and check.

 

 

 

Edit: OBIS uses new outfit lists so a patch will need to be made.

I thought it might because the drops depends on the bandit types. Not too big a deal, just wanted to know so I didn't waste my time messing with the load order.

FtM gives all the bandits the same token ring so it should not be too hard to make the patch. Once the new updates for Assets and Integration are out (new items) FtM will be updated and I will make the patch then.

Hey there! Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not possible to unlock npc's chastity belts, is it?

It is indeed possible: Simply open up a trade menu with the NPC in question, and remove the belt from their inventory like any other item. This will only work if you have a key in your inventory, however.

What exactly does the cloaks patch do?  Does it only combine the level lists for these two mods?  And if so, can I ignore it if I'm using a bashed patch to combine level lists already?

The patch is for the Outfit Lists, it the items from both mods where they conflict. Unfortunately, Wrye Bash does not combine the Outfit Lists at all so the patch is still needed.

If you are referring to non-follower NPCs then no, I don't think so.

 

I've done a bit of testing and even if both parties are carrying a full set of chastity keys a belt will not be removed in either consensual sex via Romance or the Submit seduction dialogue.

 

For me devices are only removed during Submit non-consensual (even if there are no keys) but not during Lover's Victim events. This may be my config though, I've not looked into that lately.

 

Ideally it would be nice if there was a check for keys in the inventories of everyone involved in an event and also of nearby accessible containers and have them automatically used prior to an animation. If there are no keys then the animations should be filtered appropriately. If there are no applicable animations for a belted character then they should be dumped from the queue and, if necessary, the event should be skipped entirely, all with appropriate notifications of course.

 

I'm not sure which mod(s) should actually be checking for this though, DD Integration maybe?

Integration handles the filtering of what positions are available during sex if you are wearing a belt or gag. Belts are not removed from npc's on the start of sex even if you have a key, you have to open their inventory to remove them. Most SexLab mods use the strip command from SexLab so belts are not unequipped but Submit uses unequip all on the player (or npc).

The toggle Menu in DD for the Masses. If there is a cross in the small box, will this trigger the arise of keys and restrainments in this npc class? Or will the cross prohibit the arise of keys and restrainments in this npc class?

If a box is empty then the items on that page will not be added to those types of npc's.

Thanks for both your answers! I was indeed talking about non-follower NPCs. This came across my mind while I was using TDF agressive prostitution: I was selling my PC's body for other NPCs enjoyment and some of them would be wearing chastity belts, which prevented them from decreasing their arousal levels.. So, they were willingly paying for sexual release but at the same time denying themselves that by not removing the belts...

Under the current state of things, it's a good mod if you want to remain protected from rape by other npc's, but in the other hand it also impairs consensual sex with said other NPCs.

I have absolutely no idea what would be involved in doing such, but would it be possible to run a check of consensual//nonconsenual, then a check to see who has keys. I imagine in the aggressive state bothering with complicated locks wouldn't be worth it, but if everything is on the level, and an interested party has the option. /shrug

The dialogue could probably be extended to the point that if an npc had a belt but not worn you could talk to them and put it on them or if you had one in your inventory to put it on them. I think I can do that and can probably extend that to all the other devices as well.

I like this idea as right now I THINK the only way to add devices to other people is to pickpocket place them (fyi, adding plugs to a corpse gives same message as if they were alive, a touch creepy). If i'm mistaken I'm completely sorry for being a nubcake.

 

An idea would be a speech check to convince someone to put on a chastity belt, either from their inventory first, or from yours if they don't have one, and if arousal is installed, scaled higher the higher their arousal level is.

The way skyrim handles corpses is determined by if they were alive originally. People who were killed still count as a person while those who were only ever a corpse are handled more like a container (this is why the token rings do not work on some corpses).

 

The dialogue can be made to check the npc's arousal and the players speech skill to see if they would let the player do it.

While exploring Bleak Falls Barrow, my PC looted the body of a dead bandit and found something called a "Glowing Ring".  Examining it in her inventory shows that it has a magical effect of "FtM Token Effect A".  If I try to equip it it disappears.  Is this a bug?

No, the glowing ring is what applies the items to npc's and does not work on the player (intentional). The reason they show up on some dead bodies is Skyrim treats the bodies of npc's who were never alive more like a container so magic effects from items are never applied to them. The ring disappears after the script on the effect runs.

One slight issue with this mod. It appears that if you use a male PC then it does nothing but randomly dump some keys into NPC's pockets.

 

The MCM menu also doesn't function or do anything.

 

This appears to be a dependency issue with Integration as that also stops functioning with a Male PC but it is quite annoying.

At the time this was made the male belts were not available, I didn't even know they were being made so we did not have items added to men. I am looking to correct that in the next release and add a number of the new items from Assets once the new version of Integration is released. I will probably add a box similar to the others to enable/disable the items for men.
