OnantheBarbarian Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Will this mod work with the Dawnguard DLC or the "Winter is Coming" fur cloaks mod (in conjunction with "Cloaks of Skyrim") or will we have to wait for a later patch?

It will work with the Dawnguard DLC but the Dawnguard won't have any items but vampires will. I have not done a patch for the Winter is Coming cloaks yet, it is one of the things I have to do. Once I finish the next release for Captured Dreams I will be updating FtM to use individual plugs instead of sets.
Emprah Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Is this compatible with the latest Assets and Integration updates?
Veladarius Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Is this compatible with the latest Assets and Integration updates? Other than some possible texture problems with the plugs it is.
Emprah Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Like gamebreaking texture problems? I dunno, I'm not very smart with these kind of things.
Veladarius Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Like gamebreaking texture problems? I dunno, I'm not very smart with these kind of things. No, from what I understand the textures for the plug sets were not updated with the new ones since they are being phased out. Everything will still work though,
Emprah Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I see. I only really use this mod to be able to find keys on certain NPCs, so this shouldn't really affect that then.
Gen-Dex Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Ah, I believe I see what the problem is now. I didn't think I had any mods that change the bandits, but it turns out CCO Remade alters their outfits (the Cloaks + CCO patch should've clued me in sooner), which was overwriting the outfits with the ring in FtM. I haven't been using the patch because I don't have Cloaks of Skyrim though. Perhaps I'll just drop CCO Remade from my mod list, since I very rarely craft anything anyway. Either that or I can pick up Cloaks of Skyrim, though I don't think I'd use those very often either, heh. Anyway, false alarm. My bad! I had and resolved a similar problem just now (two and a half hours of fiddling). I was able to get both devices and keys spawning by reinstalling with a full clean save procedure and then putting it at the end of my load order. I also have CCO Remade, but didn't need to install Cloaks just to use this mod's CCO + Cloaks patch, which I initially thought I'd need to do. There may be another mod in my list that alters the outfit lists -- and I suspect High Level Enemies -- but it shouldn't harm anything except the armor value of a few bandits if I put this mod after them. @Veladarius: Does this mod actually alter NPC outfit lists or does it just look at them and then throw a glowing ring at the NPC?
KestrelSky Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I'm getting an odd issue where I have two copies of the MCM menu. I've seen this before but I can't remember how to fix it, and a quick forum search didn't pop anything up.

It alters the Outfit List for the various npc's, it is the only way to reliably get them to equip the ring.

Veladarius Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 I am working on an update right now to switch over to the individual plugs instead of the sets. For anyone using the Males addon, they will just get the anal plugs.
Slorm Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Thanks for the update Vel, I have one question on the upgrade. I have a belted character will it keep the old % chance to spawn keys from the old version?

I haven't have any problems with this mod, Winter is Coming and Cloaks of Skyrim. I haven't paid a lot of attention if Dawnguard characters were wearing itmes - meaning they probably didn't-, but I have played the questline itself without problems. My character was running with few DD items and a fur cloak just yesterday. No CTDs.

If either of these mods make changes to the same outfit whichever one is last in the order will have its items on the npc.

blindmankind Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 i do not get it working - i use the new dragonborn version and sl 1.55 not one npc get some things to wear, i had the sliders for items on 100% old version worked nice with sl 1.39 me thanks
Veladarius Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 Fix your thread title, my OCD is having a spaz. Forum was what changed it, tried correcting it and it kept switching it back.
Morferous Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 The conflict is in some of the outfits. If either of these mods make changes to the same outfit whichever one is last in the order will have its items on the npc. I honestly didn't even notice. I guess the effect would be somewhat similar than with A little sexy apparel replacer, where any DD belt removes the skirt part? Altough that's probably just how Cotyounoyume used item slots to make skirts as separate parts of armor and clothing.

It is a conflict in the slots used, though the girls don't look bad walking around in the top and belt. Cloaks and FtM doesn't conflict on everything, mostly just bandits and some general npc's.
