Things work as they are out of the box the tattoos in the misc folders are available in the mcm just like the others. The misc folders had simply been a organizational choice for myself to easily see which tattoo's are part of the "main set" of each theme and those that are alternative tats or additions that fit in the same theme

Thats probably because they are not supposed to do anything.... they are not in the mcm... just because the files exist doesnt mean they should do something. They are not included in the json intentionally as its some random christmas tattoo I made for the giggles at the end of the last year and removed them after that. I left the files in there as it doesnt hurt and so I can easily reactivate them... if you really want them you can use this or add {"name": "Full - Christmas","area": "Body","section": "Alpia Full","texture": "Alpia Scribbles V2\\Christmas\\Full - Christmas.dds"}, {"name": "Full - Christmas base color","area": "Body","section": "Alpia Full","texture": "Alpia Scribbles V2\\Christmas\\Full - Christmas base color.dds"} at the end of my .json if you know what you are doing Edited July 19, 2024 by Alpia

I kinda stopped making new tattoo's for now as I found RP as a new hobby of mine that eats my time and soul. Generally speaking the reason why nobody ever made glitter tattoo's is probably that there is technical limitations. You wont get your typical sparkle effect like glitter has it as the overlays are just one color without any effects other then what race menu provides, so just glow and transparency

Good to know it works for that body CBBE textures are not compatible with UBE. Every tattoo had to be converted. The attachments will not work with CBBE.

Converting that many tattoo's is a tremendous effort if not automated and I'm not aware of any tool that could.

It uses Python to automate the baking and processes all the files from an input directory. For the final textures, I wrote a simple batch script to convert the TGA output from Blender to DDS files with Texconv. 2

ShatteredDawnfall Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 I have been trying to make a new character using the mage set through racemenu, but discovered that there was no mage tattoos in the overlay section. After checking the json file and my installation, I believe the issue to be that mage set was added in March while the latest RM plugin was February, so there are no calls in the plugin to add the mage set to Racemenu overlay on start up. Does anyone have a plugin that includes the mage set?

Some other brushes I use also add a tiny bit of smudge that may be the tiny border you see on your second screenshot I'll add removing the smudge or redoing the orc tats to my todo list, but that wont be a priority to me. As you can see the smudge is black, red or whatever color is picked in slavetats just less opaque, but as said I didnt take the possibility into consideration that there are characters with darker skin then the smudge For the mipmaps my tattoos dont have mipmaps because they are bad for tattoo like textures from my experience. This is from a older tattoo not in the mod, that has some fine lines and looked at from about 3-5 meters away. As you can see mipmaps cause the edges to glow making the tattoo nearly invisible on the light skin of my character. Just my personal experience and why I dont use mipmaps for my tattoo's, but I think its just the smudge in your case. Hide contents I saw your response here, but is it possible to even edit the orc pack to remove said smudge ? (without photoshop) or is it just not possible ?

Yes, it is Blender script but it was not made by me. Check midnightbig4's posts under tutorials-archive channel in the official UBE Discord. You can find the script I used for the conversion from there with the file name: cbbe_overlays_baking_script.blend.
