Chuck's Story Slavetats INTRO: So...I love SlaveTats, especially the many wonderful packs made by extremely talented artists here. Sadly, I have the art skills of a gerbil on cocaine. Or I think I do, assuming gerbils on cocaine have zero art skills. HOWEVER what I do have is a copy of Paint.net and the two font files (FYI: Cyrodil and Viner Hand ITC) that are used in every book in Skyrim. Thus, through the power of the text tool, "Cut", "Paste Into New Layer", and "Merge Down" (if you don't know, don't ask) I have made a few SlaveTats of my own, and now I share them with all of you. They are quite unique, if I do say so myself. REQUIREMENTS: The only real requirement for these is a working SlaveTats install. That said, each is made with a specific set of mods in mind (listed in the LORE section below.) These are all completely optional. Still, if you really want to, you could use these without any sex mods at all. CREDIT: As I mentioned, I’m no artist. All of the non-text assets were borrowed (with permission) from other amazing modders here on LL, specifically blahity and Wolfen09. Their SlaveTats packs (along with Alpia’s) are must-haves in all my Skyrim misadventures, and their arm, leg, and butt tattoos can be used alongside mine without issue. CONTENTS: Version 1.0 is a massive update with major changes. Read the changelog or the support thread. ALSO… Oh and before you dive in, a few notes about the designs themselves: Several tattoos are composed of two tattoos - one forehead tattoo, and another "full body" tattoo which covers everything except the arms and legs. This is primarily due to the way Skyrim textures work and my own laziness. Before you ask, no, I won't be splitting the body tats up, though anyone who wants to do so is more than welcome to. Changed with version 1.0. Mix and match at your leisure! Each tattoo tells a story, of sorts (explained in detail in “LORE” below.) As a result, they are all long and wordy and despite my best efforts, have a habit of stretching a bit, even at simi-realistic body proportions, especially the lower back. Regarding the above: I’m running AE with 3BA. Nothing should prevent these from displaying fine on LE or SE but anything UNP-based won’t work. Compatibility with other bodies is unknown to me, and given the gargantuan effort it required for me to get my install functional and stable, I’m not inclined to fix errors other than with AE and 3BA. Still, if they don’t fit something like TBD or whatever, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Some of them include a small element of color, though they are mostly monochrome. They are all rather degrading. I don’t always play Skyrim with sex mods installed, but when I do, my PC is submissive and either physically helpless, mentally gullible, or both. The tattoos reflect that. Some of the language is quite coarse. I also learned the word “piaculum” making this mod, which I'm about 95% sure I'm using correctly. And lastly, most of the tattoos include the names of in-game characters, and those are staying, because they are an integral part of the story each tattoo tells. Speaking of which... 6/24/2025 Now adding the "Full Tally" set. Absolutely cover the body in tally marks. Includes a tattoo for the body, hands, feet, and face. Each tattoo covers the body completely in tally marks. (Western style only. I might make a Japanese style version in the future. But it took hours to make this look good because I had to keep resizing, angle adjusting, etc. to make it look all chaotic). There is enough room on the lower back that you can still include a tramp stamp from other tattoo mods and enough room on the pubic area to include lewd crests from other mods. General Info A collection of Slavetats created by me (Aki). There are multiple packs. Details for each pack will be in the update section at the bottom, sorted by date. SUPER IMPORTANT UPDATE! If you have installed any of my tats prior to 3/2/2020 please read the update with the same date! It is related to game stability! Slavetats is required of course (Put link in spoiler tag to be less intrusive. It didn't want to just stay as a text link.) If I knew how to make them for Racemenu as regular warpaints and tats, I would. But I don't understand the end part of the process for that. As long as I am credited people may turn my tats into racemenu mods, adapt them for another bodytype better, use them in other mods, adapt them for SE, etc. This is specific to tattoos I have created. Sometimes I upload ones made by my friends with their permission. You'll have to ask me before doing anything with those. You may not charge money for my tats, and do not ask for donations in regards to my tat mods (you can do so for your own mods, just not mine. it just seems inappropriate since I am not charging for my own tats). I will never charge anyone for my tattoo mods nor condone anyone else to do so on my behalf. If you want to use any of my tats as a part of your mod, please ask first. I'll probably say yes, I just prefer prior knowledge (especially since I'm going to want to give your mod a try probably). I do take requests, and the chief degerminator of whether or not I take requests is if I have the skill and time to do it or not. I am otherwise willing to do almost anything. However the following tat categories are things I will not take requests for, nor do on my own: 1. I don't do modern politics from any country. (Obvious reasons). 2. I don't do Christmas stuff, or anything from the season. (Plenty of other people have done it. I don't need to do it too). 3. Nothing that can get me banned (of course). 4. And nothing illegal (not sure how that could come up, but if it does I don't want people saying it wasn't in the list), specifically nothing illegal in my home country. 5. Obvious things like offensive symbols associated with hate groups etc. For the most part I'm happy to do anything else by request. I don't mind certain political symbols as long as they don't relate to current political issues or hate groups. In general though, you can ask me for anything if you can make a good case for it. The above list is just a heads up that these specific ones will most likely be turned down unless you do a really good job arguing your point. (Put original pics into a spoiler tag to be less intrusive.) I recently discovered SlaveTats Magic Manager/STMM. Though it had a bit of a learning curve for me, this tool as since become a favorite of mine and I highly recommend it. It isn't a requirement, just very useful and allows for greater customization of Slavetats. It also allows you to save configurations of tats to quick load later onto your character, or rapidly look through tats before applying them via a spell using hotkeys. It can even copy and paste specific color/glow choices from one tat to another. Definitely check it out.-

Battle Wounds: This is a collection of bruises, blood effects, and a few cuts for slavetats designed for screenshots and storytelling in mind. It can be used for a normal play through if desired, but that isn't what this mod was designed for. It will NOT apply the wounds to your character automatically, so don't expect wounds to appear on your character after combat or anything. How to use: All wounds can be applied like normal Slavetats through the MCM menu. The available wounds are for the Body and Face. There are none for the hands or feet. All tats (besides one or two) are duplicated, one of which ends with (F). For example: 'Bruise - Choked' and 'Bruise - Choked (F)' The tats followed by an (F) are fit to the female body. Either can work with any character's sex, but the alignment may be off. Requirements: Slavetats Additional Mods: Rape Tattoos - Though I personally don't support the use of these two mods together, I can see how some people would find it useful. Do not ask me for help with this mod combination. Fade Tattoos - This mod lets tats fade from the character over time. Works wonderfully with the bruises and can be great to show your characters recovering from a harrowing battle over time. F.A.Q: Q: Could you add _____ new tat? A: Probably not. I feel like this pack is complete. Q: This blood/bruise isn't lined up how it should be? A: Odds are not every tattoo will lineup perfectly given the vast customization that is available to characters nowadays. Lip and nose wounds are most prey to misalignment. There's not much I can do about it. Install: Nothing special. Use your favorite mod manager or drop the extracted textures folder into your Skyrim data folder. Credits: Substance Painter GIMP Alter Native - For help on how to make my textures look somewhat decent in comparison to theirs and testing. Check out their vastly superior blood pack here! Just overwrite files from the original mod/mods. not sure if other bodies modify face if not then it should be compatible. Feel free to include these files in the original mod. Alpia Scribbles Slavetats Pack View File A tattoo collection made for slavetats and rapetats with various themes for CBBE 3ba (UBE conversion) Main pack ~850 Tats ~12 GB unpacked, Orc ~170 Tats ~2.5gb, Riekling ~30 Tats ~500mb. All tattoos are 4k for the body and 2k for the face, compressed with BC7_UNORM for SE and DXT5 for the LE version. Please read the mod page properly before you ask about something that may be explained already. FAQ is in the first post Moved the Public Whore Replacer to a mod dedicated to tats that dont fit with my main pack. Will feature whatever other mod replacers I come up with as well and some futa/dom tats. Alpia's Tattoo Dump LL Blog with additional screenshots if you like my screenshots you can find some more there that would be too many for the mod page. I'm open for Tattoo suggestions the more specific you are the better. Description: The pack contains hundreds more or less unique tattoo's that consist of different themes (see screenshots). I usually think of a theme and scribble a tattoo for each body area I use with Rtats. Some sets have more variants then shown, others have only one set of tattoo's. The tattoo pack is meant to be sloppy and look like it was hand-painted/written by some random person and thats pretty much the case. You can mix and match between the sets without overlap with the exception of the Full body tattoo's and their filler addons (colored in the screenshots). A "d" in the mcm name in front of a tattoo means its a drawing usually with no text. (g) signifies the tat is done with a graffiti brush (old packs are not updated with that as of now). (orc) signifies its done in that edgy/carved style. Any tattoo that is somewhat exclusive to orcs gives it away by the name, but there is a lot of generic tats in the orc pack that are not exclusive to that faction and I decided to use that "tag" to make it easier to identify how that tattoo will look like. (riek) signifies a riekling tattoo. Same style as the orc tats. The Orc/Riekling pack doesnt go well with bright colors or glow because I added smudge around the letters to make it look somewhat dirty. Its a seperate download for that reason. Give the tattoo a dark red color it'll look somewhat like a cut and a skin like color will make it look somewhat like a scar. These are the sets and the idea around it. I cant list or make a screen of every single tattoo just try them out I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Translation for the Orc pack if interested, they are translated for the mcm with "Orcish" followed by the meaning. Requirements: A CBBE based body SlaveTats SE (required) Rape Tattoos Continued (optional) recommend Fade Tattoos continued unless you want to keep the tattoo's forever. recommend Remove your tats either my little edit or the original. Gives certain npc's the ability to clean your skin for a price. recommend Zaki Tattoo Pack covers a lot of general usage tattoo's that look great. Installation: -Download and install it with a mod organizer of your choice. Fomod allows you to either install all in one or pick the separated sets. The all in one option of the fomod doesnt include orc, riekling. I dont think they make sense in the normal pack. -Dont forget to rebuild the tattoo registry in the slavetats mcm like with any new tattoo pack -Optional, but highly recommended use my rape tats settings.json from further below. Additional info: Picking individual sets in the fomod makes it easier to avoid sets you dont want, but the way slavetats currently sorts the tattoo's within categories is worse in my opinion. See spoiler if you care. If you dont like one of the themes or individual tattoo's or just want to save some disk space, you can just remove it form the .json and delete the matching .dds files. If you dont care about disk space deleting it from the .json is enough. How to: For Rape tats: I provide a rtats settings.json that I would recommend to use. Some face tattoo's in my pack may overlap with mouth tattoo's. For example "WhOre" where the "O" goes over the mouth. If you dont like that visual or the risk of a bit of overlap you can just open the dds with paint.net and erase the O the other letters are not a issue. Only my main pack Alpia Slavetats.json Orc pack Alpia Orc.json Riekling pack Alpia Riek.json Main pack + Orc + Riekling Alpia Slavetats+Orc+Riek.json Main pack + Orc + Riekling + ALL of Zaki's Alpia-All+Zaki-All.json (you need ALL of zaki's tats including blacked and beast) If you are new to this you can either merge any of these with your already existing settings.json or you can rename any of mine to "settings.json" and just replace yours with it, but that will obviously make you lose settings you already applied via mcm or by editing it with a editor. If you want any other combination then those I can provide you have to edit/merge it yourself. Its not hard and nothing will break permanently if you do a mistake so dont worry about it. Here is how to merge and where to find the settings.json if you need it: General talk about rtats limitations: The issue with different tattoo packs is obviously that tattoo's dont have specified areas on the body. What I consider to be the middle of the back someone else may consider part of the lower and so on. That can lead to overlap. You also have to assign each tattoo a category in rape tats, but rape tats only covers the very basics and gives you additional "misc" categories to use them as you please, so there is no universal guideline what area "misc 2 - c" is on the body. Zaki's Tattoo Pack has a great structure in that regard and is extensive. It provides a rtats.json that makes use of all the additional misc categories to assign those body areas that dont have one their own category. For example Misc 1-a Left Forearm, Misc 1-b Right Forearm I adapted that structure to avoid overlaps. That means when rape tats picks a random tattoo from "misc 1 - a" this goes on the same area in zaki's pack as it does in mine, so there shouldnt be categories that overlap used with rape tats. If you've read this far and make your own pack or want to sort your rtats categories I hope you will use the same system, so that at some point there will be a universal guideline everyone shares. If you have suggestion for improvement to it, tell me. Submissive Lola - TekknoTim's Addon View File Important! Mod WIP: This is the first mod I ever created! For now, it is in a wip & testing state! Use this at your own risk & definitely make a save beforehand! Feedback: I did not create this mod for myself alone. I made it for all of us. That's why I need your feedback! Tell me, what you like, dislike & what ideas you have to make this mod more enjoyable! Description: This mod is an addon/extension for the mod "Submissive Lola: The Resubmission," which adds tasks & other features to the main experiance. At the moment, 2 quests are playable. The first one ("A Pet Named Lola"), is triggered when you enter any vanilla playerhome. Your owner will lock you into a pet suit for a configurable amount of time, while you're not allowed to leave the house. If you want to get out earlier, you're able to do 1 out of 3 different tasks for your owner. The second quest ("Branding Device Of Lola"), is triggered when you either enter whiterun or markarth (if you have "Slave Tats" & "Branding Device Of Doom" installed). In this quest, your owner wants to mark you with a branding of her/his name, if a corrosponding tattoo is available, by using the branding device of doom. Both quests are randomly triggered by a value, customizable in the MCM. NameTats: I added a feature for the branding quest, where the name of your current owner will be applied as a tattoo/branding, if a corrosponding slavetat is registered. For now I have included 29 female & 29 male owner names, but I will add more in the future. If you don't want to wait, or you're using a custom owner, I added an option in the mcm, where you really simply can add any name you want to. I also included all blender & asset files you need, to make your own slavetat, if your owners name isn't included. And for all who don't want to mess with blender, I included a "simple & dirty method" tutorial, to make a fitting slavetat without blender. Included Names: CBBE or BHUNP? Most of the slavetats of this mod (especially the nametats) are made for CBBE body & they will look terrible on BHUNP. Hard Requirements: Submissive Lola: The Resubmission & it's requirements FNIS Soft Requirements: SlaveTats & it's requirements Branding Device Of Doom FadeTattoos (If not installed, tattoo's will stay forever, or until you remove them through the mcm) Installation: 1. Download the main mod files (TTLolaAddon_0.XX) The other files (TTLolaAddon_ArtFiles), are only needed, if you want to make your own slavetats. 2. Install this mod as every other Mod, then run FNIS. LE Compatible? It should be compatible with Skyrim LE aswell, but I didn't test it! Future Plans: Add more tattoos/names Fixing bugs & compatiblity issues (feedback welcome!) Rape Tattoos Continued View File This mod gives non-consensual sex acts a chance to apply a tattoo from the SlaveTats mod. Disclaimer: The tattoos featured in the screenshots are from various tattoo packs available for SlaveTats. Credit (and massive kudos) to all the artists that have contributed tattoos! xj47 has very kindly given me permission to post my updates to the original Fade Tattoos and Rape Tattoos mods. There are several new features in these new versions (especially Rape Tattoos), and I have a few other ideas for things to add in future updates. Warning: I only build and test this mod against Skyrim SE, and will not guarantee compatibility with LE. However, you may be able to use 2.x.x versions with Skyrim LE with some manual installation required. See the compatibility section below. What does the mod do? Rape Tattoos Continued allows non-consensual sex acts to apply tattoos to characters (the player and optionally NPCs). By default, applied tattoos will fade out over time using Fade Tattoos Continued (or the original Fade Tattoos mod), but there are also options to make tattoos permanent. The mod is quite configurable, and there are options in the MCM to configure and group your tattoos to try to keep some semblance of coherence (or not, if you like the messy look ?). What's new in Rape Tattoos Continued? A whole load of stuff! Here's the full changelog: Upgrading from Rape Tattoos This mod is a standalone replacement for the original Rape Tattoos (the original mod is not required). As you can probably imagine from the changelog, quite a bit has changed. It should in theory be relatively safe to upgrade and overwrite, but I'd recommend installing this into a new game. If you want to try installing it into an ongoing game which already had the original Rape Tattoos mod running, I'd strongly recommend making a clean save: Disable RapeTattoos.esp Make a new save Clean that save with ReSaver or similar Install Rape Tattoos Continued Load your save, configure RTC's MCM to your liking, and go find some bandits ? Requirements SlaveTats and all its requirements - latest available version is recommended (this mod is always tested against the latest official SlaveTats version) Fade Tattoos Continued or Fade Tattoos SexLab powerofthree's papyrus extender (this mod has been tested against version 5.5.0 and above) Optionally: Zaz Animation Pack - if installed you will be able to configure settings for characters in the Zaz slave faction separate from player/NPC settings. If you get added to this faction via a mod - this will include you! In future versions, I am planning on making some potentially breaking changes (including moving to an ESL-flagged ESP), although this should still be compatible with most of the mods that I'm aware of which make use of Rape Tattoos. If you are aware of any specific compatibilities, please do let me know. Future Plans There are still a handful of things I'd love to add to the mod. At the moment, things on my radar (which I may or may not do) are: I'm always open to suggestions (although I do obviously reserve the right to pick and choose what I actually implement) - so let me know if you have ideas! Information for modders Troubleshooting As a first port of call for troubleshooting, make sure you have all of the dependencies (and the correct versions of them) listed above, and make sure that you have no mods overwriting files from SlaveTats or JContainers (some mods can ship with old JContainers versions - in those cases, make sure that JContainers is overwriting those mods in your mod manager). Tattoo configuration is not getting saved after exiting the MCM/game If you're having other issues, and are not able to resolve them, please use the mod's support thread and I'll try to assist where I can. Zaki Tattoo Pack LE/SE View File Have been working on this pack for the past few days and thought I should release it. General Pack (1.1.1 Latest) A collection of 105 unique tattoos on various places resulting in 842 total tattoos. Features no beastiality content. The 4K version is 12.1GB unpacked, and the 4K-2K version is 8.9GB. The 4K-2K file has 4K body+feet tats and 2K face+hand tats. There is now a "Lite" version that contains 415 tattoos that also comes in 4K and 4K-2K. The 4K version is 6.3GB unpacked and the 4K-2K is 4.6GB. Beast Pack (1.1.1 Latest) A collection of 51 Tattoos on various places resulting in 413 Tattoos. This pack focuses on Beastiality content. The 4K version has a filesize of 6.1GB, the 4K-2K has a filesize of 4.6GB. The Lite version has a lower tattoo count at 201 tattoos. The 4K is 3.2GB, and the 4K-2K Lite version is 2.4GB Blacked Pack (1.2.0 Latest) A collection of 29 Tattoos on various places resulting in 278 Tattoos. This pack focuses on the character getting Blacked and BBC fetish content. The 4K version has a filesize of 4.1GB, the 4K-2K has a filesize of 3.2GB. The Lite version has a lower tattoo count at 161 tattoos. The 4K is 2.3GB, and the 4K-2K Lite version is 1.9GB 8K Addons (1.2.1 Latest) I have now added optional 8K Body Tattoos for each pack. The Addons REQUIRE their corrosponding packs to be installed. These are for people who can spare the VRAM and want to be able to take close-up screenshots. Their unpacked file size is very large but if you use the method in the spoiler near the bottom of this page they take up alot less disk space. Again, If you have a lot of body tattoos applied this will eat into your VRAM. Most players will be fine with 4K. Next pack will focus on different Skyrim Races or Milking / Cow related content. RapeTattoos This pack was created with RapeTattoos in mind. I have created a few templates that I use myself. Do note that it only contains tattoos from my pack, you can add them to your own settings file if you want but there may be overlapping tattoos. Requirements: SlaveTats SE (Required) RapeTattoos (Optional) All SE versions have an optional Racemenu plugin that lets the tattoos show up in racemenu. I do not recommend using this if you use SlaveTats due to slavetats tendency to overwrite those slots. To make use of all the tattoos make sure you increase iNumOverlays for [Overlay/Body] and [Overlay/Face] in your skee.ini file. I am currently usign 36 body overlays and 12 face overlays without any issue. The file is found in the data\skese\plugins folder, Racemenu usually has the file in its install. There shouldn't be too much stretching depending on your bodyslide preset. MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLICK "ADD/REMOVE TATTOOS" IN SLAVETATS AFTER INSTALLING OR UNINSTALLING ANY TATTOOS Method to save disk space. Aki Collection View File 5/31/2025 Yes, I am alive. Uploaded a new pack titled "Aki Skyrim Law." Concept is pretty basic and meant for roleplay. All tats are fairly similar in that it is a tattoo applied to the back that essentially declares certain categories of women must wear chastity belts. Either because they committed a crime (theft, witchcraft, daedra worship), because of their affiliation (Thalmor, Stormcloak), or prejudice (Of which there are only two options. Anti-elf and anti-human). ALL OF THESE TATTOOS ARE FOR THE LOWER BACK. (and thus only one of these options should be chosen at a time). Each set of crime law tats comes in two varieties. Declared by the Emperor or declared by the Jarl. The Emperor also has an anti-stormcloak option. There are only two Ulfric tattoos. I didn't feel like making a third set of anti-crime tattoos declared by him, but I will upon request if people like these. The ulfric tattoos are anti-thalmor and anti-elf. There are also two general tattoos that don't mention any particular figure. These are a sort of general law. One is about controlling witches and the other women in general. Again this is largely for roleplay purposes with an emphasis on BDSM and more specifically forced chastity. Time permitting I'm also willing to make custom versions if anyone has any specific wording they'd like to use. Just keep in mind, it has to fit on the body. I also considered uploading a set of Lesbian themed tats but I decided against it. Mostly text on different parts of the body, but I'm not super happy with the end results. In terms of quality its fine, but it just doesn't strike me as sexy. A friend of mine might also let me upload a series of tattoos he created. But that's kind of being negotiated and will probably have some strings attached. (Not a paywall, I refuse to do that. But more like limits on permission to alter, share, etc.) But I digress. As with all of the tatto sets that I make, flee free to convert them to use with SE, other bodytypes, or incorporate them into other mods. I just ask that you credit me. Sometimes I upload ones made by my friends with their permission. You'll have to ask me before doing anything with those. You may not charge money for my tats, and do not ask for donations in regards to my tat mods (you can do so for your own mods, just not mine. it just seems inappropriate since I am not charging for my own tats). I will never charge anyone for my tattoo mods nor condone anyone else to do so on my behalf. If you want to use any of my tats as a part of your mod, please ask first. I'll probably say yes, I just prefer prior knowledge (especially since I'm going to want to give your mod a try probably). I do take requests, and the chief degerminator of whether or not I take requests is if I have the skill and time to do it or not. I am otherwise willing to do almost anything. However the following tat categories are things I will not take requests for, nor do on my own: 1. I don't do modern politics from any country. (Obvious reasons). 2. I don't do Christmas stuff, or anything from the season. (Plenty of other people have done it. I don't need to do it too). 3. Nothing that can get me banned (of course). 4. And nothing illegal (not sure how that could come up, but if it does I don't want people saying it wasn't in the list), specifically nothing illegal in my home country. 5. Obvious things like offensive symbols associated with hate groups etc. For the most part I'm happy to do anything else by request. I don't mind certain political symbols as long as they don't relate to current political issues or hate groups. In general though, you can ask me for anything if you can make a good case for it. The above list is just a heads up that these specific ones will most likely be turned down unless you do a really good job arguing your point. (Put original pics into a spoiler tag to be less intrusive.) I recently discovered SlaveTats Magic Manager/STMM. Though it had a bit of a learning curve for me, this tool as since become a favorite of mine and I highly recommend it. It isn't a requirement, just very useful and allows for greater customization of Slavetats. It also allows you to save configurations of tats to quick load later onto your character, or rapidly look through tats before applying them via a spell using hotkeys. It can even copy and paste specific color/glow choices from one tat to another. Definitely check it out. Meeko's Bitch Tattoos View File This is a slavetats pack containing tattoos focused around bestiality, specifically dogs. Now also available is a small horse themed pack. Why I made this? Well, a while ago I started a randomized playthrough and it started my character off being Meeko's Bitch. And I thought well why not make some tattoos for it. This pack now contains a little over 80 tattoos including: Paw prints Scratch marks Tramp Stamps And degrading Phrases Now also some horse stuff in the horseslut tattoo pack. With more to come as long as an idea pops into my head or if someone recommends one. I made them based on my characters CBBE body textures. Thanks to CaerHenWen for testing them out and confirming they work with UNP as well. I'm open for suggestions as long as it keeps with the theme of this mod. Dealing with (Sexual) Daedra View File Dealing with Sexual Daedra Sexlab and/or Slavetats integration addon for the mod Dealing with Daedra. List of integrated features below. This mod is for female characters, for all but the simplest features like hiring whores. There are no actual checks for gender, but you will be receiver for a lot of "vaginal" animations and the slavetats will not fit the male body properly. Reports are that this works with SE out of the box (you will need the SE version of the base mod) Installation: Place below both Dealing with Daedra and the bashed patch Start new game/clean save if DwD was already installed or some features will not have their integration NOTE: DwD updates regularly, these are almost always safe for existing saves but the two mods share some files. View File Introduction Prisoners and slaves are usually forced to go barefoot and this is true in the Elder Scrolls universe as well. Remember slaves in Morrowind or those prisoners dragged through Skyrim by the Thalmor? I often start my roleplaying runs on the bottom of society, as a runaway slave/prisoner or a poor peasant and have always been upset at how it was way too unrealistic. Dressed in rags, barefoot and penniless, my character can run across Skyrim as fast as a shod one without any consequences and buy/sell items at normal prices without the merchants batting an eyelash. Whatever happened to no shoes, no service? This mod tries to add a touch of realism to this experience. Feet now get dirtier (using SlaveTats) depending which surfaces the player has been walking on and can be washed by wading in a stream or using a spell. This isn't a cosmetic change, either: the player's speechcraft skill is affected by the dirtiness of their feet. There's also an option for merchants to refuse service to barefoot characters in cheap clothing or all barefoot characters. Innkeepers will also refuse to rent rooms to people with dirty feet. A kidnapped noble girl with pampered feet now won't be able to run away from those bandits easily. Every surface has a different roughness level which influences the chances to step on something nasty and stagger, stopping the character for a bit and alerting everyone to their presence. Worse even, just walking barefoot slowly accumulates feet pain, slowing the player down. The pain heals slowly over time, but don't expect to be able to walk even from Riverwood to Whiterun without moderate pain by the end of the trip. Luckily, the character's feet will get tougher over time and at higher levels the player will be able to even sprint across gravel without letting out so much as a whimper. Feet toughness decays over time, though, so it may well be back to square one after a year of shod life. The only good side to this mod for now is that being barefoot adds 10 to the character's sneak skill. Finally, ever wondered how those ZaZ/DD ankle irons managed to fit over your character's massive boots? There's also an option to unequip boots or shoes when the character's ankles are shackled. That barefoot fettered girl won't be able to just loot some boots off of a dead soldier to ease her ordeal. All of this is powered by a highly customizable (via MCM) and slightly overengineered mess of exponential decay functions and thresholds. This is a rather early version, so don't use it on saves that you value. I've been using it for a couple of years and decided to release it to the world since it mostly seems to work, but I've only added MCM customization recently, so it could be broken. This mod isn't really gender-specific, but I've only tested the dirty feet SlaveTats textures on female feet. Installation and requirements Requirements: SKSE SkyUI SlaveTats ZaZ Animation Pack / Devious Devices are not a hard requirement: if either are installed, the mod detects their leg irons (keywords zbfWornAnkles/zad_DeviousAnkleShackles) as having an option to block footwear. Bathing In Skyrim is also a soft dependency: when the player washes, their feet become clean too. I couldn't find a good way to hook into the BIS washing process, so currently the mod resets feet dirtiness to 0 whenever the BIS dirtiness global decreases (which only happens when the player washes). So if the player is clean and washes again, this won't reset the feet dirtiness -- but if the BIS dirtiness is >20% and the player washes, then it will. The dirt textures work with female CBBE (by default) and UNP (download the file BarefootRealism_UNP_(merge only!).zip and overwrite the base mod's files with it). Installation: Copy the files to your Skyrim/Data directory or use Mod Organizer. There's nothing really specific about the installation and there's no FNIS required for now. Roadmap / future work Stuff I am currently working on/planning to work on for the mod. Priority is mostly based on how much people want it and whether it's a severe gameplay-impacting bug, as well as how much fun I'd have working on it. High Textures for other foot types (SoS/UNP Special (?)) Medium Cleaning/water detection inconsistent with some areas not being detected as water. Some sort of a cloak spell to add dirt tattoos to NPCs around? Low Tear out SlaveTats hard dependency and switch to NiOverride instead. Refactor the scripts and move stuff out from OnUpdate and into OnEquip/Unequip Advanced Details This is the maths that powers the mod. I'll also describe the effect of the default settings. You don't really need to read this, unless you want to customize your experience. Barefoot Realism adds 3 parameters/skills to the player, all ranging from 0 to 1: feet dirtiness, roughness and pain. They're stored in 3 globals: PlayerFeetDirtiness, PlayerFeetRoughness and PlayerFeetPain and are the only bits of player state. You can modify them with console commands to back them up if you are going to delete the mod, for example. Dirtiness Barefoot Realism can detect the surface the player is walking/running on, which lets different surfaces have different dirtiness levels. In addition, BR also detects the location type the player's in. The reasoning behind this is that a stone floor in someone's house will be much cleaner than the stone floor in a random dungeon. Here are the default surface dirtiness levels: Stone: 0.2 Dirt: 0.4 Mud: 1.0 Wood: 0.2 Grass: 0.3 Snow: 0.1 Carpet: 0.05 Gravel: 0.2 Water: -5.0 The default location dirtiness multipliers are: Home (any owned interior): 1.0 Mines/prisons (dungeons with "Mine"/"Prison" in the name): 1.5 City (exterior): 2.0 Other dungeons: 2.0 Wilderness: 2.5 The total surface dirtiness is surface dirtiness * location dirtiness multiplier In addition, if it's raining, the dirtiness is multiplied by 2. The feet dirtiness tends to the total surface dirtiness: it's logical that the player's feet won't get dirtier than the actual surface the character's walking on. Dirtiness per step = (total surface dirtiness - feet dirtiness) * multiplier If the feet are dirtier than the ground, the multiplier is 0.0005 and if they're cleaner, the multiplier is 0.001 (so accumulating dirt is faster than cleaning it off by walking on a clean surface). The water dirtiness level is negative: the player can run around in some water sources (like the streams in Whiterun's Cloud District that they can still get to very often) to decrease feet dirtiness or use the Wash Feet spell near/in a body of water (waterfalls etc, the bodies are the same as defined in iNeed) to clear the dirtiness completely. There are 5 spells draining Speechcraft and SlaveTats tattoos applied to the player's feet at different dirtiness levels: 0.0 (Speechcraft -10), 0.03 (-20), 0.1 (-30), 0.3 (-40), and 0.9 (-50). At feet dirtiness > 0.25, innkeepers will refuse to rent rooms to the player. Roughness and Pain Different surfaces and location also have different roughness levels and again, to get the total roughness level, both are multiplied: Stone: 0.4 Dirt: 0.2 Mud: 0.1 Wood: 0.2 Grass: 0.1 Snow: 0.7 Carpet: 0.05 Gravel: 1.0 Water: 0.05 Home: 0.1 Mines/prisons: 1.2 City: 1.0 Other dungeons: 1.5 Wilderness: 1.5 Feet pain accumulates per step as well. The formula is: pain multiplier * (total surface roughness / (feet roughness + 1)) ^ pain exponent The default pain multiplier is 0.01 and the exponent is 4. This might be a bit overengineered, but the idea is that the pain increase dramatically decreases when feet roughness is greater than the total surface roughness. Let's say the feet roughness is 0 and the player is walking around Whiterun (location roughness 1.0, surface roughness 0.4 for a total of 0.4). Then, with the default settings, the pain increase is 0.01 * (0.4 / (0 + 1)) ^ 4 = 0.000256 per step or 0.256 per thousand steps. If the roughness is 0.4, we get 0.01 * (0.4 / 1.4)^4; 0.067 per thousand steps. If the roughness is 1, we get 0.016. Feet pain decays constantly at a default rate of 0.25 per game day. So at a roughness level of 0, a thousand steps around Whiterun will take a whole game day to clear and at a roughness level of 1, it will take about 1.5 hours to clear, presumably faster than accumulating them. The feet roughness increases every step by a roughness multiplier (default 0.1) * the pain increase incurred. So by default, it accumulates 10 times slower than the pain. The roughness also decays at a default rate of 0.005 per game day (50 times faster the pain), so it will take 200 game days for fully trained feet to return to the 0 level. Stagger Chance Staggering by stepping on a pebble or a twig is a way to immediately slow down the player. It also emits a detection event, alerting enemies to the player's location. The stagger chance per every step is: 0.1 * e ^ (stagger exponent * feet roughness) * movement modifier * total surface roughness The default stagger exponent, -4.6052, has been calibrated so that at feet roughness of 0 the stagger chance (before applying movement/surface modifiers) is 10% and at the roughness of 1 the stagger chance is 0.1%. The movement modifier depends on whether the player is running (1.0), walking (default 0.25), sneaking (default 0.1) or sprinting (default 2.0). With these defaults, a player running on a stone road (roughness 0.4) in the wilderness (roughness 1.5) will have a 6% chance of staggering every step (about every 15 steps). If she's sprinting, the chance becomes 12% (about every 8 steps). If she decides to save her feet and step off from the road into the dirt instead (roughness 0.2), she has a 3% chance of staggering (about every 33 steps) if running and 6% if walking. Since Then I have added tattoos covering some of the same areas for more variety. There will be some distortion in certain places especially if you use extreme body types, but on the whole I enjoy what has come out. Some of them are sexy, some silly, some because why the hell not? A REMINDER THAT AFTER EVERY UPDATE YOU WILL NEED TO CLICK "ADD/REMOVE TATTOOS" IN THE SLAVETATS MCM TO SEE THE NEW TATTOOS IN YOUR LIST!
