Or was that one reference to AE CC content an oversight, and you intend to remove that dependency?
uncleben7 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Just finished getting all the priestesses bread, and I see there's still more to this mod. Looking forward to it. I did have to disable aroused creatures because he kept jumping every woman who was even remotely aroused. I have a couple ideas, like maybe the curse could force a locked dog collar on the dragonwhore that removes all clothing items whenever she is in a city. ac collar with paw prints would be ideal. At the end of the mood maybe the collar is replaced with one that puts her in a beast slut faction that allows friendly creatures to approach her for some much needed attention. When I am done. I am replaying this mod, as I felt I rushed the first part, and she didn't get publicly shamed enough. lol

The only thing that needs changing is moving Farengar and the player closer to the dragon because half of the dragon was in the doorway, and after the sex scene he was sitting on the wall ;:D Thanks. I always approached first so I never noticed this. But I will move Farengar further into the room in the next revision. 2

Its part of the latest update.esm that you would have if you downgraded. Asking people not to use assets that were added in an update to the game seems silly.

In the Creation Kit, the only masters to this mod are as follows: Skyrim Update Dawnguard Hearthfires Dragonborn SexLab SexLabAroused So, no CC masters. But, when I look at the door frame I used, its name does have a "cc" prefix. Per wareware's comment, the latest Update.esm adds certain Creation Club content as modder assets. So, that's how it ended up as a door frame for me to select in the Creation Kit. I'm still a little confused about what file contains the door frame. It sounds like it's in Update. If so, per wareware's comment, you can get these additional assets and retain Skyrim 1.5.97 by upgrading and then downgrading. I can see if there's another door frame that works in the space. I'm not in love with this one, but it was the best one I had found to physically fit in the space. Also, as reported by Skelletoncz, the mod works on LE. I wonder if the door frame was simply missing in his playthrough.

See the response to Herowynne above. Since the mod runs on LE, worst case a door frame is missing. But I will look at alternate door frames. Also, it's been two years since AE was released, give or take two weeks.

A collar would be nice. I just need to figure out how to add it without making DD a hard dependency. With Aroused Creatures, the collar can also serve to make the PC available to creatures. And, you'll see soon that the "removes clothing in city" aspect is already in the mod. 1 hour ago, uncleben7 said: When I am done. Because these comments are drawn from the same random bucket, you'll get fewer Balazar mod comments otherwise. Also, one feature of this mod is that NPCs who see your PC having sex with creatures and comment on it will remember, and then they will have further (random) comments on the act whenever they see you again. So, the more comments from this mod, the more people will remember your PCs actions.
Herowynne Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 (edited) The mod so far has been very good! ? I have played up to the point where I am supposed to talk to a member of the Mythic Dawn in Dawnstar. I went into Silas Vesuius' house, but the quest marker just points to the middle of the room. Have I missed some quest trigger or condition? EDIT: In the console, I did setstage BLZR_Quest 45 which spawned in a female Mythic Dawn member and then I was able to proceed with the quest. CyberQueen Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Ran into a problem...When trying to follow Dravynea out of the tavern in Kynesgrove she doesn't move. I have the great village of Kynesgrove mod installed. Does this mod make edits to that village? Where is she supposed to walk to?

Have I missed some quest trigger or condition? EDIT: In the console, I did setstage BLZR_Quest 45 which spawned in a female Mythic Dawn member and then I was able to proceed with the quest. Thanks. There's a big trigger box outside of the shrine door that advances the quest from stage 40 to stage 45 when the PC enters the trigger box. (Stage 40 is set inside via the conversation with Balazar.) I don't know why this stage didn't trigger. It should be impossible to exit the interior of the shrine without entering the trigger box. The trigger box is just using a vanilla Skyrim triggerbox setstage script. Advancing the stage as you did will fix the issue of course. If you don't mind, perhaps you could go back (if you have a save) and try it again. Maybe it was just some weird engine hiccup. Stage 45 is important because it does several things: enables the female Mythic Dawn member as you note, and unlocks the door in Silus' house so you can get in there at PC level 1-19 when (I think) it's normally locked. Also, Stage 45 removes the PC and Balazar from the Dremora faction (put in temporarily for the shrine encounter). I'm surprised this didn't cause a fight in Dawnstar. Stage 45 also enables the dialogue for the Mythic Dawn members. The quest marker pointing to the middle of the room is probably where Silus is standing (disabled). I'm assuming your PC is less than level 20 and Silus hasn't been enabled yet. I put in the female Mythic Dawn member to cover this case and also the level 20+ case where Silus has been killed in the Pieces of the Past (Mehrunes dagger) quest. She also visits the tavern twice a day just in case the PC can't get into Silus' house for any reason. So, she's basically a backup for Silus. Though she could also be used in a future extension of the mod. Also, I opened the Creation Kit and removed the CC door frame to start looking for an alternate that fits, and by some dark magic the doors fit perfectly in their setting without a frame. In fact, I think it looks better without the frame. So, problem solved. I will simply remove the CC door frame in the next version. Edited October 30, 2023 by Gristle 1

I have the great village of Kynesgrove mod installed. Does this mod make edits to that village? Where is she supposed to walk to? This mod does not make any edits to the Kynesgrove tavern interior or any exterior cell in or near Kynesgrove. Does she just stay in the tavern? If you're getting the "Follow Dravynea" objective, you must have finished the conversation with her in the tavern and set the correct stage. That should give her an AI package where she leaves the tavern and heads to (see spoiler box below). As long as the Great Village of Kynesgrove mod has appropriate navmesh for her to exit the tavern and head to (spoiler), she should eventually head off (sometimes there's a delay before an NPC evaluates a new AI package). In any case, if you know where she's going, you technically don't have to follow her. In playtesting, I always run ahead of her and everything works fine. So, if you go to the place indicated in the spoiler box below, you should be fine. SPOILER!!! Spoiler The Steamscorch Mine (just up the hill from the tavern).

kraigpdx Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Awesome mod! I am very impressed and it is great to see the construct animations being used. I honestly didn't run into any issues. The ending feels a bit of a disappointment but I think I was just sad for the adventure to end. It would be cool if it was integrated with Submissive Lola but that would add another dependence and wouldn't work with Balazar being in dog form when in cities. So, it would have to be a completely different Dremora that you get sold off to. However, it is also fun to wander around Skyrim with Balazar forcing you to the ground and giving the townspeople some entertainment. Again, amazing mod! Great work!

MyNameIsnt Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Excellent mod! Having just finished it, Spoiler I'm surprised that a daedric diety honored his end of the bargain and gave the PC her freedom. I was almost sure that Balazar was going to tell the PC that while she was no longer bound to him, she was still bound to the "dog" and conjure a replacement dog in his place. Very interesting and well made mod - I can definitely see the work and passion that went into making it ?

Part of the motivation for the mod was to try to use some of the creature (and construct) animations that aren't used very often (or at all). I think I'll have Calcelmo deliver a smaller construct for the temple's permanent use in a future update. Sadly, my construct animations (from Billy's) weren't working well. Which ones did you use? As for the adventure ending, you can go on with Balazar, though I realize that, other than a powerful companion, and the general dom/sub relationship, there's not much gameplay-wise after the end of the quest. I hope to expand that a bit in a future update. 9 hours ago, kraigpdx said: It would be cool if it was integrated with Submissive Lola but that would add another dependence and wouldn't work with Balazar being in dog form when in cities. Are there any particular features of it that would work here, keeping in mind that I don't want to introduce anything that would prevent normal Skyrim game play, except maybe for very brief periods?

As for the spoiler box, I didn't want to make a mod that would interfere with normal Skyrim gameplay, at least not for long, and forcing a permanent companion on a PC seemed like too much. So, I gave the PC an option to exit the quest after Part I, and then another option at the end of Part II, though PCs can keep the companion as long as they want after Part II. You did play Part II, right? 1

Most notably, it is one of the versions of Animal Mansion. 4 hours ago, Gristle said: 'm actually not familiar with Submissive Lola. Are there any particular features of it that would work here, keeping in mind that I don't want to introduce anything that would prevent normal Skyrim game play, except maybe for very brief periods? The idea behind Submissive Lola is that you decide to 'play as a slave' to a follower, and depending on your settings you can ask to be a short-term slave or set it so that if you reach a certain submissive level the owner won't let you go. It is one of the more stable and frequently updated dom/sub mods that stays rather gender-neutral with only a few features that don't work well for male PCs. In the MCM for Submissive Lola, you can pause your master making demands for quests where you aren't able to take them with you. So, it is possible to play the whole game while being a pet to an owner. The only time I ran into issues with the mod is when I tried to run it with Sanguine Debauchery but I have always found SD to be buggy for my play style or just incompatible with mods that I frequently use. Most of the Lola events happen when you enter a city or small town, you are given tasks to make a meal or bring them an ale. There are less frequent complex tasks, like being put on display during a slave auction or performing a 'play' at the bard's collage. The only thing that makes it incomptable is that Balazar is in dog form when in cities so... cleaning his boots wouldn't make much sense. I could see it as being a mod option where you can choose to have the relationship change from this mod handling the character to having Submissive Lola or a similar mod handling the relationship... "Congratulations you are no longer bound to a dog but a fully formed Dremora" Ha! Oh, so that does bring me to a question I did have. Once you have done parts one and two of the quest, you can choose to dismiss Balazar... where does he go? He says he might see you again, does he make the shrine his home or is he just sent to the void? Edited November 1, 2023 by kraigpdx
