I think I am here

at the ship inside the cave. I have the quest active marker, and I am supposed "to investigate", but there is nothing. Just the marker. I am tried to check above and below the marker.. Nothing... 

 

I am afraid my highly-moddled game may have changed the vanilla cave/objects around the marker pointer. Or is it an NPC I have to meet?

 

What item or person am I supposed to meet/find there? If anyone does know..... Again, I am in CH1, first quest for Solitude...

 

I will try to "setstage" and see if I am going to break everthing... too bad.. it appeared a solid mod....

Heya!

 

I just found this mod and installed it and just did a bit of it. It looks awesome and exciting. One thing that i would like to help with is the English grammar. Some of it i found hard to read and was confusing. 

I would be very happy to have access to all the text for the game and proof-read it and try to make it easier. I am unsure but i am guessing English isn't your first language. I do not claim to have the best grammar myself but i feel i could improve it for you.

 

i totally understand if you did struggle a little. But i would be more than happy to reword the sentences in the dialogue etc and any text to read better.

 

I don't know if you have some kind of zip/winRAR  file or document that has all the text i could read and go through for you. 


Maybe if you do i can rewrite it to read better English and then give that back to you so you could update the mod. Just thought i would offer :)

LazyVoiceFinder It has quite a lot of options (including turning on and off many different columns), but the most important thing is saving to a CSV file. So you have English 1, which is the original, and English 2, where you can make grammatical changes.

When I store my gear at the chest before going to Insmouth I become overencumbered by millions of points. Seems almost like an integer overflow, very confuzed why it'd happen. Unremoveable quest items might be related, I had several of those in my inventory

i know this is probably a stupid question but i have to find the wine at the lighthouse and i have no idea where to go. the lighthouse is NOT marked on the map, the lighthouse keepers house is but not the actual damn lighthouse so WHERE DO I GO

With Karloman in the Warm Cave?  They're on the stone platform with the benches in front of it.    If it's Arthrarak after drinking the ale in Dawnstar tavern,  north edge of large island NE of Warm Cave.

I am in the false choices part of the mod and have just escaped the temple. I abdoned nuai and am now in front of the npc that says she will let me go back after i do something for her. NOTHING is happening. Ai don't know if something is supposed to happen, i'm supposed to do something, or what. i tried to find the next stage sequence for this part so i could just set it that way but nothing. help would be appreciated

Quest: "How to make an offer"    No marker for Hak'Kluru's location or any mention that she's found in Ry'leh.  

Penises for the Mixed Hybrid Lurkers are very small. They do not "insert" into the PC during sex acts.  That's easily fixed by increasing the size via Schlongs of Skyrim or maybe use a different penis from SOS.  As the player can do that, not a big deal for me. 

"Recruit a follower for a sacrifice" is vague.   Does it mean a follower like Lydia or one of the regular followers the PC gets in Skyrim?  Or is it a pre-made NPC in the mod? 

I spoke to Hak'Kluru as above, but quest did not progress.  Do I need to perform the sacrifice first before it progresses?

I found the teleport boat to the NE of Warm Cave, near the two posts where Arthrarak "sacrifices" your character to a Lurker. 

And I had the wrong version and installed the SE version so the mixed hybrid Deep Ones have their models instead of the red triangles.

As a suggestion you could have a Lurker kidnap or abduct the character and take her to a breeding pit as a form of punishment for not following orders or obeying on the Cultist path or as a surprise for a player on the Investigation path.   Deep Ones are already covered by the repeatable Red Silk prostitution quests.    

You probably could have the player character stay in the pit for a x period of days depending on how severe her offense was with the possibility of being claimed as a permanent breeding stock for the Lurker.  

She'd still be free to move around after being released from the pit after the time of her punishment expires.   BUT..the Lurker can summon her back any time for a x period of time of breeding.  She could be branded with a magical tattoo that makes her summonable by the Lurker.   It might affect her mentally with the fear of being brought back again.   The dialogue would be much more demanding and not as kind.   After all, she's just a human woman.  And those are monsters of non human eldritch darkness she's dealing with.  

Their mindset would be alien to humans and probably see humans as far less than themselves to be treated accordingly.

I finished chapter 1 , I have to wait for the messenger (debug player.moveto <ID>)

 

In the inn, there is Lurbuck and another guy who "insist" on having a drink together (obviously a drugged drink  😋).

 

After this short interlude, I'm taken to a room (I assume still in the inn) where there should be sex scenes.
The problem starts immediately after the drink. All the game controls stop working. Is this normal? I don't have any additional cameras installed

Umm its the different mod that you describe with the drunk. You should get the message via courier and after reading it go back to morthal inn and talk to Kjelgrim (the Vigilant)

the meshes for the hunter lurker hybrids is not working. all i get is a red tringle with like a doorway in the middle. is there a particular mod i need for the meshes to show. i have more nasty critters se but is there something i need to do or a particular mod that has these creatures in them

This happens when highlights are missing, or an incompatible mod has been installed

 

1) Make sure you're using the right version for your Skyrim

2) If this mod overwrote the creatures, you will need to reinstall the previous mod (E.g Billyy SLAL)

3) Easier and faster: Extract the mod, with NifOptimizer, convert the meshes for Skyrim SE, take the converted meshes folder and paste it into Skyrim Data and overwrite

Where is Fulvius going?

 

Given how good NPCs are at dumbing themselves down, perhaps, a destination was better than following it. 

The Enable/Disable console does not help .

Solved with console . 

Select NPC , read refereceID, open console with tilde key insert

prid <ID>  press enter

moveto player  press enter

Hi Blitz

 

I had the same problem.

You can skip the quest step with the following console command.

 

setstage aFTD1_Chapter1_Dawnstar 200

 

After that, you just have to talk to Norren again and you can continue.
 

But be careful.

I encountered another bug that appeared to be triggered by starting Norren's game.

After getting stuck with Norren, I couldn't use any crafting stations such as the arcane table anymore. 
As soon as I try to use one of the tables, my character immediately steps back and closes the table.
Even after I continued the quest with the command, I still couldn't use any stations.

 

I solved the problem by using the command immediately after entering the cave,

Even before I spoke to Norren for the first time,

which allowed me to skip the entire section with Norren's game.

This allowed me to continue the quest, at least for myself, and I was also able to use all crafting stations again.

Ive player through most of the initial investigations(Chapter 1?), i started with the solitude quest and that worked just fine, then i moved onto Dawnstars quest that being Frelys which worked fine until the rock paper scissors match which just didnt work and the NPC guy cant think of the name just stands there doing nothing(it also doesnt work when i threaten him)

 

Due to this error i back tracked to my save at the end of quest 1 and decided to do the Winterhold quest and also got stuck(Because i wasnt talking to the right NPC which is the Conjuration teacher) and then back tracked again, did windhelm with no issues, after which i went back to the winterhold quest and completed it with no issues the second time after finding the correct NPC 

 

Finally this lead me back to the Frelys quest again which had broke even more as instead of it breaking at rock paper scissors it broke earlier in the quest with the letter from peeper guy just not spawning in her room so i could not continue

 

Am i just doing something wrong to break this one investigation, if theres no way of fixing this issue whats the quest ID so i can just bypass it and continue onto chapter 2
