Having an issue with the rock paper game in the warm cave, my character and his just stands there and I cant move. Got it to trigger once randomly but can't figure out how, 

 

Edit: when I got it to trigger all the animations seemed to be working fine so I assume thats not the issue, its like the game struggles to start/can't start for some reason. Wondering if it might be due to my characters height? They're goblin themed so pretty short.

The one time I got it to trigger I was basically just fucking with console commands/disabling/enabling/killing/resurrecting him (Note this was after several other attempts of me standing their staring at him)

So I figured out the solution it's stupid as fuck but if you have a mod that stops you from true dying/allows you to go prone, click on your character and type "kill" Your character will freak out but the pop up will appear no idea why this works but after testing it seems consistent. My only thought is the prompt boxes are somehow being blocked by defeat/other prone mods? IDK

 

edit:Even easier just use the resurrect command on your character without going down, for some reason it fixes it.

I do have defeat baka, and old death alternative and works fine for me, did you check your fusrohduh version? I remenver it was the one issue I had when I was playing Thief quest, what is your skyirm version? Im playing 1.59, are you playing with AE??

Playing 1,59 as well, using defeat baka as well, not using death alternative. 

Im using the most recent version of fus roh duh, could it be that/what version should I use? Sometimes the dialgoues do go by pretty to fast sometimes but it's generally fine.

 

Not sure why my resurrection would fix the prompt pop up (Dialgoue in general worked fine with the guy before and after the game, it was specifically the pop ups just not appearing until i clicked on my character and type resurrection)

Thx this works perfectly, and now I'm having trouble with the riekling cave I dunno if I'm missing something but after I follow the chief through the back he just stopped at the gate doing nothing tried talking to him, resurrecting him, disabling the gate, nothing he just stand there doing nothing I teleported him inside but when I do that he just goes back to the front of the gate.

Hmm thats not a problem Im currently having sadly, he's meant to walk up to the gate, pause, say some weird line and say thats how you open it before entering it and essentially explaining this is where the woman were. IIRC there was a lot of talk earlier in the thread about reikling cave having issues? Perhaps the debug npc can help?

Hi ! I have some issues with some creatures meshes from the mod. Deep ones and Shoggoth particularly doesn't have any animations from SL, or the models are changed to werewolf before the anim starts. So I'm considering replacing the models by some of this mod : 

I think this is pretty accurate ! Does anyone know how to do this ? Thank you !

Then enter the cave, talk to the aparitions even tho I never abandoned Susana she tells me that I did

And then talked to the priestess and she give me the options to "kiss" up or down either option didn't have consecuence and then had to touch the book on the center and that all

and everything ends there no more new quest, the only quest to console is aFTD4_zEnd that I dont know ho to use on the investigator path

 

I don't undertand what's going on...

 

It seems there is some scripts issues, a variable not incremented, and it also seemss you have problems with the SEQ file.

Ive noticed one other minor issue and it has me thinking I might need to change my version of fus roh duh, the game basically tells me to wait for a character to finish talking, the dialouge doesn't play and after an extended period of time/running into characters the dialogue plays super fast so I cant read anything and then the quest stage clears and I can continue.

Tried finding it and i could be off somewhere but for the deliviery slavers quest after either distracting or failing to distract ( not using susauna ) i am un able to compelte the quest. its the first delivery quest to the slavers but i am uncertain if i am doing something wrong or if its bugged.

i dont have the inquery arathakna *( the slaver argonian ) quest and was purposfuly not choosing it cuase it felt like it was too soon slash risky

Seems like the rock paper scissors game causes lots of problems.  i couldnt get it to start either she just wandered around.  i skipped the stage to the next one 130 and then played the game lost 3 times had some sex and got the info.  but now my toon will not sleep in a bed anymore as soon as she lays down she gets up.  same for travel carriages, as soon as i sit down she gets up.  she also just seems to wander randomly if i click on something.  any clue what she could be stuck on?

I think is not this mod I have the same issue, it happens because an animation didn't finish or a mod is taking control of character, correctly so player is being controlled until you finish it correctly, a possible solution is interrup the animation somehow (be sawmill animation, draw weapon,) , in my case i dont have so much luck and the problems contiunes no matter what I do (sometime it fixes with character recovercontrol babo dialogue option), until something happens and it solutions itself, an alternative solution (and all game wize if it never fix itself) is using "player.tai" for every furniture your using, and play without go to bed (either unintall or disable on the mcm if your using the old version)

While i do agree that animations defiantly get stuck from time to time, my problem happened in the warm cave when i tried to do rock paper scissors.  she was unable to walk to norren for some reason and wandered around like a lost puppy.  i went back to an earlier save and it worked fine that time and i am able to sleep peacefully now.

I have a quest thats says goodbye susanna.  the objective is she is ready to be interrogated.  i went with her to the basement in the inn with everybody there but nobody says anything to her.  i talked to her before on the road, is something supposed to happen after this?

Save here. I have the Delivery Slaver quest to the slaver ship. Tried multiple time with different colleagues. Its stucked on Return to your colleague and nothing happends after the dialogue. Pls help is anyone knows how to get pass through this. Seems like theres no setstage available for this quest.

I'm learning console commands including setstage but I can't find the name of the quest to change (sqt doesn't show it). Can anyone help?

 

If I type getstage aFTD1_chapter1 it displays >> 100.0 but setting this higher (like 110) doesn't work (stage 110 not found).

I don't know, I never played GOG version of skyrim, but it should not matter.

 

The next quest is triggered by a courrier. He'll give you a note. I use the vanilla courrier system, so I don't know what could happen if you use a mod modifying it.

The mod is around Dagon, the lovecraftian god, minion of Cthulhu.

If you prefer, Dagon is a minion of Herma Mora.

I don't know. It seems you have a problem with a texture or meshes in Ryelh small world. Look to Hakluru.

I'm afraid it"s due to the fact you played this quest and don't make the previous ones, which were modified, and receive some global variables modifications important for the final quest.

But I did, I restart a save with the latest update and did everything again, I even try to do the mages part letting the rieklings die (wich didn't work because mages desapear in the first very part or stages does not advange even with command) but had to go with the rieklings part, I suspecting that is linked to advancing stages, maybe advancing stages dont give global variables

Maybe it's due to the setstage... so, I don't know what I could tell you, except restart the mod from start, or at least end of chapter1.

I'm sorry for this question, but could we get a premise/general idea for the questline of this mod? You know like how in movies you'd find "A retired elite hitman comes out of retirement and goes on a revenge mission after his dog is killed by a group of thugs."

Well starting for 4th time dont garantize me to get gloval variables this time, is not there a way to get the global variebles by command??? because that would help a LOT, that or FIX every stage that is importat to get those variables so I dont have to use commands and get to the quest naturally

Yes, you can manipulate globalvariables by command.

Set <globalvariable> to <value>

 

It seems the mod really needs an MCM.
