Thanks, that was it. Changed the load order, that worked, then deleted it since the one remaining script in that file is probably not going to do anything on its own. The updated .txt file should have had the load order followed by the mod list, but that doesn't really matter now, lol 🤦‍♀️.

At the end of naked defeat i get the message they are equiping DD items but my character stays standing still and theres no animation. I can wiggle to get free but again no animation, i feel like i followed the steps (fnis, bodyslide etc), am i missing something? I have DD, DD ng and DD equip installed.

In the console it says DDe could not make a new outfit.

A small request: would it be possible to add another whitelist to inventory filter that checks for allowed keywords on item, instead of displayed names?

So, I found something curious. Enabling the SE patch fixed my problems even though I do always get the NG error warning me to disable it now.

Hallo, after Installing Devious Devices and Devious Devices NG seems that the mod is installed . But when I Start  Skyrim the comes a message: 

     "An error has ocurred with your installation of 'Devious Devices. Please check the lo for more information. Error Text: DDNG:

      ´Devious Devices SE patch´ ESP is active. This ESP is no longer required and will cause issues. Disable the ESP in your Loadorder or remove it"

But i can´t find a ESP in my loadorder called DD SE patch in my loadorder.

I play with the newest verion von Skyrim AE v 1.6.1170 from STEAM (Devious Devices SE 5.2

isn´t running alone so i tried your help "Then to fix the DLL issue with 1.6.1130  / 1.6.1170, you will do ONE of these options (ALL of which existed prior to 1.6.1130, so none are 'new'. Thus "no new files"): 1. Install Devious Devices NG. It will overwrite DD, including DD's DLL. It's DLL works with all versions of the game."

have you any advice to solve this problem? Thanks i am hoping i get DD playing. ( sorry for my bad english it isn´t my mature language)

Have a look in you Data folder. If it's there (might well be) just delete it (and get scolded on your next start because it's missing) or do the other method that's described somwewhere in the setup for this mod: delete the "Devious Devices SE patch.esp" , make a new, empty file, and rename it to "Devious Devices SE patch.esp" so that the game still thinks it's there, but can't do anything wrong.

Hello!

I have been wondering for long time how a NPC would interact with a DD contraption.

 

I was finally able to command a no-follower NPC to lock into a contraption. And I indeed succeeded!

 

Now, if the player locks himself/herself into a contraption, you can have the option of using the key, and struggle to get freedom. All options are available and working.

 

For NPC, how are they going to get freed? I have no options available to "operate" the contraption after the NPC is in (it's like the NPS is "wearing" the contraption). The only thing I see is the NPC name. I tested going away and coming back, with no change. The NPC was happily enjoying the tortured animation. I tested if there was a timer after which the NPC will get freedom. Nothing I can see. 

 

I was unable to free my NPC! (if you have a solution, please let me know!!!)

 

My workaround was to kill (disable) the NPC, which resulted on the full NPC+contraption going away. Then, I have spawned the same NPC, which apparently, it was not aware of being a clone ... :) 

 

I had a funny idea to "lock" some of my followers on contraptions to know at any time where they were. But, if I cannot free them, that is a no go.

 

In any case, let me know if there is an option and how to operate a contraptions for NPC...

Hallo again thank you for your help. i found it now. sorry for my silly question but i started  5 days ago with modding and skyrim, i only looked a video  and thougt it looked funny. Now after 5 days Devious cursed loot is running ( ibought the newest skyrim version AE  and  devious devices was so realy tricky to install. but now its fine. i started with the cloe quest and i think i am missing some dialog optans examble " can you lock me up or can you tie me up" i have only the normel follower dialog and the chloe quest dialog.. But all creators and the community  thanks for their great work. i try to donate in a few days for this great fantasy( i must look how its funktioniert ( i have also to look how i can here create a comment ( because its realy new for me) . thanks again.

For anyone having trouble installing Devious devices NG (DDNG) with Sexlab Utility Plus mod where the mcm for sexlab wont show up try to keep track of the mods you've installed that's causing the mcm not to function and place ALL esps from the affecting mod Lower in priority than SL Util in your Load order and it should fix it for you.

 

This includes example: "Devious Devices - NG - Piercing replacer.esp" dummy esp.

another mod I've noted does this is aroused creatures.

doesn't matter. dd ng will overwrite the dll from the original mod.

hello, is it normal that rope armbinder does not show up on my male char? (ebonite armbiders work fine, but the rope one simply won't appear, even if the char looks bound)

Bug Report

 

Current DD NG,

Issue: Believe it is "Device Hider"

Player wearing.   

Catsuit disappears when wearing slot 49 item even when proper settings for slot 32 have been set in Device Hider settings.

Tested against Chastity Belt slot 49 item and a mod panty which was also slot 49.

Tried a few different colors of Catsuits all of them appeared to have the same issue.

 

Happens also with Hobble Dresses,

Can't confirm, Catsuit and Chastity Belt, with or without hiding Slot 49, work fine together.

So that would mean I have a mod that is interfering with DD NG plug-ins..?

 

Hm, time to go look at all my Devious mods and figure out which one.

NOPE,

 

IF it was some other DD mod I have sense tried to remove all the DD mods and run it still same issue.

Even added in the soft requirement mod Dynamic Armor variants, no dice.

 

Probably just roll back .29 then

I simply started another new game, not that the game before wasnt a new game!

 

No 

 

So it makes no sense,

 

Standing in a new game in Alternate Start's prison area,

Simply works now.

 

It shouldnt be any different but there it is.

That's Skyrim for you *sigh*

 

Does it still work when you leave the cell? The game hasn't started proper until you've used the bed. I'm no modder myself, but I've heard from Simple Slavery, that it doesn't work as expected when you enslave yourself from this cell and haven't been in the world proper. So maybe some other mod kicks in as soon as you are in 'the world' and messes around with the device hiders.

I have leveled the character up to 9 and it is still working properly.

I'm stumped on how it happened at all.

Did you use the 3BA bodyslides? I had a similar problem with my female character when building the DDs for 3BA (first DD Framework 3BA group, then DDNG 3BA). Other armbinders worked fine, as well as other rope ties, but rope armbinders were invisible. Using the DD Framework CBBE SE bodyslide group finally made them appear. Also still there when building for 3BA afterwards, despite this should override the previously built CBBE version i guess? Textures for the natural rope version seem wrong though, looks exactly like the black rope version.

I've got a recent issue with DDNG as well.

 

I update some non DD mods, e.g. those on Nexus. Start a new game and DDNG doesn't seem to load. I don't see the MCM and some other mods that rely on DDNG don't seem to work as if DDNG is not in the game at all. E.g. Defeat where you have to click Install, leave menu and go back to see the full MCM doesn't complete the install. Followers and Cursed Loot have MCMs, can see the list of menus in their MCM, but going into the submenu brings up nothing at all.

 

Only way I get round it is keep restarting the game until it works, sometimes I need to reinstall DDNG.

 

Any ideas?

 

I am on 1.5.97, and always used to work fine, it just started happening over the last few weeks. Getting annoying now.

 

Edut: Found the culprit - Curse of Life. Removed that and DDNG working again.
