azmodan22 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Â I'm going to post the fourth (and hopefully final) beta. I want to mention how the mechanics work behind the new features. Â The base gold amounts for the negotiations are 50, 75, 100, 150, and 200. These values are affected by bonuses: training (1% per), client count (0.4% per), speech (0.2% per), and money multiplier in the MCM. Additionally, if the potential client is a Jarl, there is a bonus of 25% applied. If the potential client is a "deferred client" (i.e. they were engaged with the "So are you ready for me?" dialogue), there is also a 25% bonus to gold amounts. Regardless of these bonuses, the speechcraft checks are still the same: 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 respectively. However, speechcraft checks have bonuses applied as well: client arousal (0.2% per), deferred client (10%), and sex type (oral is -10%; anal is +10%). Failing the 150 or 200 gold negotiations can cause the potential client to become angry and then... I'll leave that as a surprise. Â I thought about some of your above suggestions and here's what I did. No extended negotiations when 75 or 100 gold negotiation fails (really no point). Extended negotiations for 150 and 200 gold amounts. The PC can make a second offer of 100 gold with the modifiers mentioned above (as long as 50 speech check passes, again with the aforementioned speech modifiers). This prevents the player from exploiting the higher checks to achieve a higher price than possible normally. Â I don't think I can feasibly store the "Have you thought about my offer?" data that would be necessary, so I don't think I can implement this. Â Â No point to store it. The "so, are you ready for me" pretty much covers that. Hadn't seen last night when I made the suggestion. :-) Â *Edit Iam pretty sure the only thing you will need to change for in beta4 is its name :-). I'll start testing it right away :-) (after I get that boring Blacreach quest done-a couple of hours)
azmodan22 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Ok, gave it a brief test run yesterday and everything worked like a charm. -All options show the gold -Maximum gold is no longer guaranteed for anal. You can fail. -The counter offer works flaulessly. -Prices are at normal levels (with mult x1) -Prostitutes working for you are not affected as they have a different dialogue tree -Approaching clients work.  what I want to check again. I *Think* that in one case after I axcepted the clients counter offer, (she was also a follower) after some time she had the "so are you ready for me dlg. Not confirmed, I could have done something wrong. I did ask half of Solitude. (the other half was sleeping . Â
DemonKnightRaziel Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Sounds awesome so far, will get around to playing with it sooner or later, rather stuck in figuring out mod merging and stuff for now.  Regards the existence of other PC prost mods, yeah, there are others. Some weren't kept up to date though, unlike yours. Also, you didn't have any silly requirements like having to 'register' with innkeepers in order to hook at all, or do goofy quests, or have items that conflict, or have to 'unlock skills'(animations).  In short, yours is much simpler for people to just get right into. No real requirements or funny business, you can start skimming for Johns immediately. This is desireable for a good number of people. The dance effect is also very nice. Your follower prostitution is also much more developed then pretty much any of the others(pimping followers is neat, lol), so with the further additions to PC hooking, your mod became a much more complete package overall when compared against any other. It's the main reason I choose this one over the others.  I'd also thought about the follower pimping aspect, and Dave Chappelle popped into my head: http://www.cc.com/video-clips/67hgjb/chappelle-s-show-when-keeping-it-real-goes-wrong---brenda-johnson---uncensored?xrs=share_tumblr&time=4m4s"Is pimping Easy?" "No" "Hell yeah!"  I mean, it wouldn't be easy scripting wise but that part could also be expanded on alot. For instance, the "3) "I sucked a lot of dicks for this Gold, so, if you want your cut, you're gonna have to earn it,"" response from pulling hookers off the clock could go to an outright refusal, which depending on player action could make them more or less Independent. Let em get away with telling you off too many times and they'll go their own way and refuse to work for you Period. However, player success on an intimidation check would make them hand over the gold and reduce their overall independence, lowering the chance for refusal in the future, or alternatively(or in case of intimidation failure) could reassert yourself as the Pimp via Brawl or Devious Devices disciplinary actions and such. Also, being their pimp, you should be able to demand 'services' at any time  Could also have more minor radiant quests like the one when the client stiffs your hoe( havent come across this yet, but is one of the options Brawling the dough out of them to maintain 'respect'?), like maybe someone assaults(physically or sexually), robs or kidnaps your hoe and you have to go track them down and beat the crap out of them, and have that also affect hoe 'Independence'. Take care of your hoe and keep them safe and they'll stick with you; neglect them and they'll leave for better pimps. Basically, make you the player have to Act like a pimp while being one  Also lots of potential guard interactions. Like depending on how well 'liked'(ie Thane status or bribing the town guard to look the other way with either upfront gold or 'free' services which will reduce the amount your hoes bring in but eliminate 'misunderstandings' with the townguard) you are in a town and on local laws theres a small chance your hoe might get jailed and you have to bail them out or something.  Theres lots of little ways you can continue on with the general theme of the mod and make it the best prostitution mod on LL bar none =D
Vivi Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Spent hours to figure out why the custom music didn't work until I realized I had the music muted in Skyrim XD (I usually play like that in games). I didn't even think about it as an issue because DanceSync did have music. Thought it was a compression fault... Oh well, guys, never skip the most simplest&obvious things when troubleshooting
TheDriedFinger Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 OK, so my checklist, or else I'll forget (again): - Brideyna suggested a while ago, but I forgot, a solution to allow prostitutes to have client counts higher than 100. Should have taken care of this by the recently released version, but I forgot. - @DemonKnightRaziel: I want to respond to everything you said right now, but I have to take some time to formulate my thoughts on it.
germanicus Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Thanks for the update TDF. Now, I don't see 2.1.0.0 full version for download except in German. Does it mean that I have to have earlier version and the install upgrade?
TheDriedFinger Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 You can overwrite v2.0.1.0 or later with the update package to v2.1.0.0, pretty much what you would do with SexLab Framework. Then, overwrite with the German Translation, if you would like to. Â I'm thinking of moving the downloads to an external site (mirrors), to take the load off of the site because the main files can be pretty large. Any suggestions?
germanicus Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Thanks for the reply TDF. Most people are using MEGA or 4share for uploading their large files. I' m using MEGA site for 3 years and I'm quite satisfied.
nameless701 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I have a little problem with the german translation (kleines problem mit der Übersetzung... die Preise werden nicht angezeigt)  original with prices  german translation without prices
Guest Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 do you have to keep the folder folder from the older version?
azmodan22 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Yes, you have to keep the main mod and the 2010 updateand install this over them Â
TheDriedFinger Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 @nameless701: I have tested the German translation in-game as well as taken a look at it in the Creation Kit. If everything was installed correctly, there shoudl be no reason that that would occur. The most likely explanation is that you forgot to install the v2.0.1.0 to v2.1.0.0 update package over the main v2.0.1.0 package before installing the translated files, or that there was some sort of uncommon installation error on the part of the mod manager that you were using. Â @Everybody: In light of the fact that there seems to be some confusion as to how to install the mod, I would like to clarify the steps: 1) You need to download and install (or previously have downloaded and installed) the main package v2.0.1.0. 2) You must overwrite these installed files with the v2.0.1.0 to v2.1.0.0 update package. If you had previously properly installed the v2.0.1.0 to v2.0.1.0b update package, you could simply install the v2.0.1.0 to v2.1.0.0 update package over that as well, and everything will work just fine. Â So, to prevent any further confusion, I will be uploading the full v2.1.0.0 main package shortly off-site. The link will be posted.

The PC become his payment
TheDriedFinger Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Yeah, I believe the problem you are describing (a script not firing) is occurring because, somehow, during the installation of the translation files, the .bsa is being removed or otherwise rendered unusable. Are you certain you are installing everything properly (i.e. overwriting)? In some of my other mods, I've had users who reported issues that turned out to be caused because they chose the "Update" option instead of "Overwrite" in Nexus Mod Manager when they attempted to install a mod package.
nameless701 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I dont use the "Update"-option ,only overwrite i have 3 active esp tdf,tdf update and tdf german  install tdf install tdf update...update no...overwrite yes install tdf german ...update no,overwrite yes
TheDriedFinger Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 This is extremely odd. Can you check your Data folder? Is the SexLab TDF Aggressive Prostitution.bsa file there?
nameless701 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 first:Â Â SexLab TDF Aggressive Prostitution (bsa) Â Â second: SexLab TDF Aggressive Prostitution (bsl) Â Â last:Â Â SexLab TDF Aggressive Prostitution (esp) Â This is a new game...all older saves are deleted
nameless701 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 This is only an issue in the textfile, the payment works
TheDriedFinger Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Really?! The payment that the Player Character receives is not 0? This is very odd. Â Previously, I was convinced that the script that triggers on the dialogue before the negotiation was not firing. The fact that the prices were not written as "[...]" told me that you were running the latest .esp and had reset the quests, using the MCM. 0 is the default value of the GlobalVariables that those dialogues link to, so I was sure that the script that I mentioned earlier (which sets those values) was not firing. But, you just told me that the player character receives a payment (i.e. not 0 gold). The script that handles the payments uses those GlobalVariables in determining the payout, so that tells me that the script must have fired and updated those values. Updating those values is enough to affect the payment, but not enough for the diaogue options; there must be an update for the Quest itself as well, which the script is supposed to take care of also. Â Can you do another test for me? Talk to a client and make sure that you get a non-zero payment. Then talk to another client and see what gold values are presented in the dialogue options.
z4m0lx3s Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 FWIW, When I am talking to a client I am also getting [...] instead of an actual amount of gold in the dialogue. However the NPC is paying a certain amount of gold before the act itself. It seems like the bug is in displaying the available amounts.
bjornk Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Pardon me for asking, but where exactly is the English 2.1.0.0 update package? I only see a link to Mega for the full 2.1.0.0 version, and a German 2.1.0.0 file in the downloads section.

I'm putting all of the main packages there from now on. Smaller update packages will likely just be uploaded here.

RDKateran Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The 2.010 to 2.100 update download on LoversLab is missing, TDF.
TheDriedFinger Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 I removed it because some people seemed to be very confused with how to install it, so I just wanted to put up the link to the full package first for a while and then put up the link for the update package afterwards.
