This might show if anything is overwriting the Papyrus Util mod/dll. Sexlab comes with a specific copy included, so if you're not using the correct version for the game version you're using (correct me if I'm wrong, but 1.66b with .1170) then you're gonna have issues. The current/correct version of Papyrus Util to be using with .1170 is v4.6, so you're gonna need to update that too. There's also a debug menu for DDe that will show what specifically is an issue. Please provide a screenshot of that, because it could help with any other issues that may not cause error messages.

Hi, i tried "Devious Devices NG v0.4.0" with "Devious Devices [SE][AE][VR] 5.2" but it did not work, it did not give me an option to start a new game just CTD before that option, ill create a crash log and post it on that thread. unkown2155271 Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 just a thought, Could you add a feature where you could interact with chairs and activate stuff , but not harvest or loot, while wearing heavy bondage items? currently Heavy Bondage Disables Everything, even sitting on chairs and getting on carriages. Really loving the Mod Btw.

I have tried messing around in xEdit armor addons to swap meshes etc, but then the whole body texture becomes shadowy/dissapears. The goal is to be able to wear another outfit together with the reverse-prayer boxbinder (which the 'hidden arms' variation allows) but the standard one unequips worn armors/clothes. If there is a way to stop the boxbinder from stripping the PC through item slots or something that would be great but I can't seem to get that to work either. Please let me know if you know a solution to this.
T3xorcist Posted April 2, 2025 Posted April 2, 2025 So here's an odd bug,?, I've found. When having DDEquip add devices to my character it will only use shocking plugs and the training plug none of the other outfit plugs that should be available. This has been noticed on multiple fresh new games.

Fralia Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 I've tried this on fresh saves and everything. But having DDE active on my game makes my character moan uncontrollably when jumping. Almost like its replacing my characters normal voice with SL voices. I've uninstalled every mod seperately to try to fix but the only one that helps is uninstalling DDe. Note everything in the menu is up to date so i don't know what the issue is.

However, in the reflection, one can see a static picture of Whiterun, which doesn't really make sense when being indoor for example -> see pictures in this post. If the version number is there but the .esp failed, it means that you have the DDe scripts installed, but the .esp is either missing or not activated.

Really loving the Mod Btw. Using furniture breaks the DD heavy bondage animations, so that is why I'm blocking it.

There is a plug enchatment called Ribbed for Her Pleasure, make sure it is disabled.

That comes from ZAP and was done by @t.ara, perhaps you can ask there for a replacement?. I don't really do textures. I suspect you could just find a picture of a chrome metal, use Paint.net to convert it to a .dds file and rename it to iDDeInox_e.dds.

If I had a mod that used devious devices, like devious followers continued for example, what it take for dfc to use DDE's device manager to equip devices? Like the way we use DDE to have a combination of devices selected to make a dde outfit in pop. Is there code that can be used to patch a mod to use dde to equip devices for another mod? I'm a complete novice in writing code for skyrim. Works great for POP. Seems like it could be used for other mods.

For example if you just need to equip an outfit and don’t care for a confirmation of a successful equip you can use an event like so, aActor.SendModEvent("iDDeEquipOutfit", sOut, 77) Here, aActor - is the actor that gets the outfit. iDDeEquipOutfit - is the DDe function that is called. sOut - is the outfit name to be equipped. 77 - is how many devices from the outfit to equip. A negative number will un-equip that many devices. It will not equip more devices than the outfit contains. So, if the outfit contains 3 devices and this number is 77, only 3 devices will be equipped. If you need confirmation that the outfit was equipped correctly you can use a DDe global function like so, INT iEqp = iDDeUtil.SendDDeEvent(aActor = aActor, sEvent = "iDDeEquipOutfit", sList = sOut, iDDs = 77) If (iEqp) ;Do stuff on successful equip. Devious device equip work like a charm, except when i want to select an actor with the key i told it (in my case "ins"). It used to work a few days ago, but now, when i approach a npc and try to select it with "ins" it just say: "Select actor cancelled." How... do i make it work again? I don't think your model overrides this specific boxbinder variation from DDNG (or else I'm doing something stupidly wrong, of course, but I've tried many different solutions).
