Any chance for 3BA conversion for the new boxbinders? They are much better than the other ones.

I don't play with 3BA, you might want to ask @Skreplin from the previous post.

I can't equip DDE items on corpse like blindfold and harness any solution?

First, why would you want to? Second, sounds like a DDf problem, you might want to ask there.

I'm not the op, but I'm having the same problem. this is a fresh install of Skyrim that I spent a good chunk of the last two days installing mods for and making sure everything will play nice together, and it's a new save. got CD from the page linked in the original post and it's 4.1.5. the System tab does say it's ok, but says it's 4.9 for some reason, and this error message and the scary red notices pop up every time I load the save.
I did see someone in the thread for LE with a similar issue (though looking again, that was from December of last year), and they mentioned they had no issue after ignoring the warning, so I'm fine doing that for now/until something breaks. if it causes actual issues I'll just remove CD

to others having the issue with DDe saying it needs CD version 4.16, apparently the CD download linked in the mod page, despite listing as 4.15, registers to DDe as 4.9. I don't know what the actual version of the SSE port is, it might just be 4.9 mislabeled as 4.15. DDe checks for 4.15 and 4.16.
Found this from further back in the LE version thread after a while searching:

I examined the CD installation package files that you sent me via DM and it looks to me like you have CD framework version 4.09.

Edit this file: SKSE/Plugins/Devious Devices - Equip/System/DDE/System.json

and change this line to specify CD version 409:

"icdxcompatiblever" : [ 409, 416 ],

tested it and the same method works for SSE/AE.

go to \Data\SKSE\Plugins\Devious Devices - Equip\DDE\System
edit System.json in notepad. you'll see

        "cdxcompatiblesemvers" :
        [
            "4.16",
            "4.15",
        ],

in this case add 4.9. so it should look like

        "cdxcompatiblesemvers" :
        [
            "4.16",
            "4.15",
            "4.9"
        ],

keep in mind that this is not actually changing any files, so if the version provided on CD's downloads page actually is out of date, you may run into issues down the line. but this will get rid of the message and warning popping up every time you load a save

ok, chiming in here one more time because I found the problem with the version on CD not matching up. I think the parts 1,2,3, and 5 that you get for SSE are version 4.9, or the scripts are at least, but there is one more file that you need to download- the CD device removal DDv4 update v2.7z at the very bottom. there are two of these and they don't specify which is which, but the one near the bottom is grouped with the SSE files, and shows right for me. the CD download page doesn't really mention this except in the patch notes at the very very bottom, and there are like 12 files to download half of which you're supposed to ignore anyway, so it was easy to miss.

After adding that (which just overrites and updates some scripts, no ESP or anything), DDe shows CD is at 4.16.

Just tried this out, too. It works perfectly.

I've tried to disable activation block for heavy bondage and mittens, as this would break my current gameplay. The way things are set up I would never be able to get a key.

Anyone know why it seems the Device Options menu does nothing? I removed all items, and am able to change the checkboxes, but no actual effect.

I've tried resetting the mod, and just about every other option in the menu. The only way I can disable the "can't do that" for picking items up or looting boxes is to disable the mod, then everything works fine.

Hey, thanks for adding straitjackets! I appreciate it, even if I know how unpopular they seem to be 😅

I would like them more if they secured the hands behind the back.

My MCM menu for this mod is gone after updating? Did I screw something up?

Updated SUM as well?

Hey Inte, it seems the update to 6.4.6 broke compatibility with Practical Defeat. PD has a feature where you can use DDe to equip custom outfits on your character instead of random ones, but this feature does not work on the 6.4.6 version of Equip. However, it does work on the 6.3.6 version.

I hate to ask because it is technically a compatibility problem and not a bug, but could you look into it?

Just out of curiosity, how does this differ from additemmenu mod from nexus that lets you add items from all available mods into your inventory?

I don't use that mod, so no idea.

I would need a DDe log. Make sure to enable debug logging in the DDe MCM. But, most likely PD needs to recompile the script with the DDe function.

I'm also getting the Captured Dreams 4.9 error as mentioned above by @lavenderslime but after downloading and trying both of the CD Device Removal files and trying the fix by adjusting the System.json DDe still isn't recognizing CD as the correct version. Has anyone else run into this?

Same! However, we'll take what we can get!

Hey, I just noticed - Straitjackets HAVE been added to Device Library. But NOT for self bondage sessions. Can Straitjackets now be added under Heavy Bondage under Device Options? It would be cool to have that as a possible random occurrence when doing self bondage sessions...

And also Elbow Ties? (not talking about Elbowbinders)

Also - BUG!

When I have an NPC selected, and I "Equip MCM outfit to [npc]", and straightjacket is selected, it puts the straightjacket on... but does NOT hide the hands. If I do it to me, it hides the hands normally. This is at least for "Red Leather Straightjacket Elegant Dress Open".
