Installed this mod and CD, including the CD patch, but DDe now gives me the message: "Wrong CD version detected, please update to 4.16." As far as I know the most recent version of Captured Dreams is still 4.15.

Last vesion of this mod still has the locking Gloves/Mittens/Boots/Leggings/Cuffs issue, whenever I open DDe MCM it locks them together drastically reduce my speed

Same here, I believe we should look to CD's comments, maybe a fanmade version [4.16] that DDe refers is there

Yes as someone pointed out installing device removal DDv file bumps the version number to 4.16.

I think he meant if DDe boxbinder version can appear in newest Devious Device NG.

What I'm trying to say is that Devious Device NG has the default square boxbinder while Devious Device Equip used the unique reverse prayer like boxbinder, so he wanted thsi reverse prayer boxbinder meshes to be able to appear in the Devious Device NG mod below.

 

 

I had asked the same question in their (Devious Device NG) post and one of them replied only with the original author permission can they included in their mod.

So while I'm at it, can i ask for the permission too to have your unique reverse prayer boxbinder include into Device Device NG?

Don't know if this is the cause for your issue but have you disabled this option in DDe MCM? (it's on the 2nd page of device options)

Haven't played POP in a while but iirc there's an option in DDe MCM to block object activation while in heavy bondage. Maybe that's the one you're looking for so could try and disable that

Apparently it's a little bit more complicated.
The DDe options can be programmatically overridden when a special quest context is played, as in the Prison Overhaul scenarios.

In this case, the object activation set by the player in the MCM are ignored and a specific object activation set of rules are enabled.
So, if everything goes as expected in Prison Overhaul, the player "IS" allowed to eat/drink the food/drink left by the jailer/guard through a special action "consume that" (or something like that), 
but sometime the player is equipped with a gag that is not compatible with that special behavior, which is what had happened to me when confronted to the "Can't Consume" message, and prompted me to ask that question.

Hi, thanks for the great work on these mods. I’ve run into an issue where both mods work fine on their own, but only one MCM menu shows up. 
If I install SUM first and make save, its MCM shows; after installing DDe it detected  in SUM's menu but its own MCM doesn’t show.

If I enable both in the same time on clean save, only DDe MCM shows (and mod works perfectly fine).
Changing load order didn’t fix it.
I dont have neither CD or POP installed, but have DD NG.
SUM 3.33.6
DDe 6.33.6
Skyrim 1.5.97.0.8 with BEES and rest of requirements.

I'm using the method provided by the UD mod author to create a patch for DDE, but xEdit shows all records are being skipped. How can I resolve this?

That way works only for devices using standard DD scripts. DDe uses own custom scripts, thus Synthesis is not working for DDe.

So I'v been playing around with the MCM to try and grasp how this mod works, took a bit of trial and error since it isn't always clear (if there's a guide somewhere it should probably be linked somehwere easier to find) so far so good, except for one thing, how do the plug effects in the MCM work? Do the effects apply to all DD plugs? Only the ones added via DDE? Only the ones in the current selected group? and what do they even do? most of the descriptions are too vague...

DDe and Skyrim Utility Mod keep giving popup "can't find system.json" errors every 10 seconds, even though the files are present. anyone know a fix for this?
