This makes sense to me,
Remember that the Regula religion is all still open to the players interpretation, but the general idea of having a "Keeper of Souls" means that by killing someone, you are effectively returning their "Soul" to her.
Whether this is for rebirth or judgement is upto the player headcannon, but this is still a religious process.

Rending a soul is when you destroy the soul, which does not allow the poor sod to have their soul return to the afterlife. This can be seen both as blasphemous and also a very vile act.
So I think it makes a lot of sense.

Its sadly pretty complicated, wrestling in particular is a pain in how its setup to basically only allow either male/female and not both.

In the backlog the ticket is to create and implement the following game rules:

Magister Sex: Male (Default), Female, Both
Famuli Sex: Female (Default), Male, Both

Theres a lot of stuff that needs to be rewritten to allow this to work correctly in all cases, and even then as you say theres game engine limitations.
A female Magister will have a smaller number of total children then a male Magister for example.
The main thing is I'm not super invested atm into working on this as its a huge project, but I do want to keep the door open for other modders, which is why I now try to build new stuff that is more adaptable where possible.

Have you got the Regula Lewd COAs option enabled while not having Cheri Lewd COA mod installed?
That would cause a crash when the game tries to generate the female characters for the event. Might be the cause?

Well, now I can safely say that when the official CK3 expansion comes out I'll support these regions 😆

Admina Carna ignores fertility (kind of).
As long as:
- They are not pregnant
- They are "visibly" fertile (as in they aren't mashed up etc)
- They are no rejected from the marriage bed (The magister can do this to any of his consorts via interaction)

They have a chance to be picked, which will impregnate them. The chance to be picked is based on a number of factors, favouring higher rank devoted, and giving a big bonus to consorts with no children.

I think you are looking for "Regula_Magistri\common\flavorization\regula_flavorization.txt" and "Regula_Magistri\common\customizable_localization\regula_character_title_localization.txt" for the title flavour, then the actual localization is in "Regula_Magistri\localization\english\religion\regula_titles_l_english.yml"
Happy to add any fixes you make to the main mod, you can post them on Gitgud.

Oops, I will fix this, just have to check if Magister is not a landless adventurer.

Does the mod show up in the CK3 launcher? If not then its not installed correctly, check the .mod file and make sure everything lines up in terms of filepath.

Honestly, I think RM will work fine on the new patch, I'll test it later
Here's hoping 🤞

The mod shows up in the CK3 launcher, then I launch the game, go to decision, but there's nothing there. I wait for a while, but it still doesn't show up. I tried restarting the game several times - nothing. And so on with all the mods except the ones I downloaded from Steam.

The game patch today is going to be breaking a lot of mods until their creators/maintainers can push fixes out. However, your issue likely (barely) predates that particular push.

As you mentioned your issue involved all of the manually downloaded mods you have installed, you might want to check here:

well gave it a go with my existing mod list, everything I noticed that a regula specific seems to work.... I didnt run into a problem until I tried to click the more button on personal interactions with one of my 'wives' and I CTDd... that I think might be more the impregnate spouse mod or character physical modify mod

edit:

acutally it turned out to be better barbershop

I can verify that Better Barbershop Beta followed by Better Barbershop Beta CBO Extension work great loaded after CBO Unofficial mods and Regula.

playing all day and haven't had any issues with the mod on the new patch. Most of what was changed was UI related.

Could be interesting in the future if you're able to pervert the religion into a darker one.

That choice is actually built in as a governing decision now.

That's what I thought, based on what I could understand looking up the event in the mod files. Maybe it's another mod messing this up, but I found that even if the event fires, the Paelex doesn't get pregnant. I specifically watched one for several months after the event popped up and nothing happened. Weird...

Hello. I'm new to this mod, and a few moments after clicking on the orgy activity decision, CK3 freezes and crashes. Is this an issue with the CK3 update?

It seemed to work fine by just changing the entry requirements and I think there's nothing preventing an equal gender roles culture from having everyone participate in wrestling.

Maybe make a 'Magistran Wrestling' competition that's just a copy/paste of the original wrestling with the entry requirements changed and just slowly add/change the associated events/code over time? (edit: nvm, took a look at the tournament code, this is a terrible idea)

When I use "Corrupt Holy Order" decision, the event works all, but no new "Holy Order" is generated.

I'll tell you my situation. I've created a "Regula holy oreder" on my territory before, so I have 1 "holy order".

Occupy the new kingdom territory, one of the estates leased to "Catholic holy order" was incorporated into my estate.

If the "Corrupt Holy Order" decision was executed, the territory finally leased to the "Catholic holy order" would be returned, but no new "Holy Order" was created.

In the tool tip to become cultists when you mouse over the camp buildings the descriptions for submissive servants says it needs supply tent and for Regula shrine it says it needs the baggage train. However they each actually use the other building. So im not sure if the description is wrong or if they are tied to the wrong building.

It wont let me take the culture tenants as it says i dont follow the regula faith. even converting

Does it work when playing as a futanari character instead of male?

Nah. Gotta be a dude. Most of the content is focused around the idea of a male player character. Though due to the nature of the mod I feel like a Futa compatibility mod would be quite easy to make. What does it matter whether the tyrant NTR'ing all the women in the kingdom has boobs or not? Lol.

I did something similar with the Demon Kingdom mod for CK2. There was this one male-centric event that was incompatible with futa characters, so I decided to just open up the mod in Notepad+ and delete the "is Male" part of the code. That was Babby's First Mod level stuff, though, and the localization still used masculine language. Still got the chance to spend "quality time" with the family, though.

(Yes I'm a perfectly normal person)

It'd be pretty easy to do, just tedious. There's a carn_gender_can_impregnate_trigger, just replace the is_male triggers in the mod with that where relevant.

Unless you have other mods it is a pc spec issue.

My single character has well over 100 kids and I don't have this issue. Only time I get any amount of lag is rapidly clicking through them like when trying to assign guardians to the two dozen kids that need them every month.

The problem only really starts to kick off at around 1000 kids, which can happen easily if you're immortal

I saw this as well; though it worked the first two or three time I did it, it failed the last time I tried.

Also, didn't you used to actually take over the holy order?  I thought that's how it used to work.  Like I literally Fascinared the female head of the Knights Templar (she stayed Christian), even made her a Paelex (she stayed Christian), and then I tried to corrupt the order, and she just got moved somewhere else, stayed married to me, stayed Christian, and I got a new and different holy order instead.

Considering the base game only understands male or female, the base game's wrestling event would handle it based on whatever gender the game thinks the futa is, as it has no concept of what a futa even is.
