Miss the Skins portrait modifier for Sanctifica Serva, they brought a visual change to the world. Any updates on bringing it back or any issues still preventing it?

I'm fairly certain with other people reporting issues and my own issues that servitude factions are broken. If I switch character to a mulsa of a different realm, I press the start servitude faction button and no faction is made. It's valid for that character to make that faction, the button isn't blocked out. I can try other characters doesn't matter, I can't form a servitude faction.

i dont know if this has been commented on, but i dont think charmed vassals of other rulers can join a servitude faction, unless i am missing something.  I charmed the vassals and had them reveal themselves, but none of the factions seem to have formed.  I even checked by switching characters to see if i can form the faction.

The problem was that I replaced the skin.dds (so I could get fancier skin colours) but this messed with some skin mods and total conversion mods.
Still something I want to do, would have to learn how to do new races, which is still a bit of a mystery to me

I'll look into servitude factions this week, given a lot of people reporting issues its most likely broken 😞

EDIT: Oh geez this is a can of worms, I can get it working again kinda, but testing this has been very hard, I can't get the factions to form naturally right now.

Edit: Aha, I did get one.  But only for a stepchild born after I paelicized the mother.  Stepchildren born earlier still do not offer the option.  Is this intended to be the new logic?

 

Edit: And that's not it either.  Just paelicized a woman and immediately was allowed to CP her eight-year-old daughter.  So clearly something is awry.

 

Edit: Okay, I think it's only working when I Domitans a woman before I vassalize her.  If she's already a vassal and I Domitans her, then Curo Privignos is not available for her children.

EDIT: @bodygen, strange I can't replicate this issue, do you have a save handy I can look at?
With my testing I can Curo Privignos the son of a female vassal who I domitans.

A couple notes, You cannot CP if the child is in the court of someone who is not of the Regula faith (for example, the fathers court).
You also must be the consort of the mother, either she is married to you or is your concubine.

Can you check the child is in the court which is owned by a Regula faith character? This might be the cause of your issue.
I'll change the tooltip for CP to show reasons why it isn't possible.

I'm not sure honestly, but from the thread it seems like there are a couple of bugs from both of them, mainly UI related.
Your mileage may vary of course. The main issue is not having specific holy sites setup for those mods, though that is easily moddable (or you can use no holy sites which still allows all RM features).

hmmm, Not sure if this is RM related, the only portraits I use are basically revealing clothing from CBO and thats pretty much it.

The effect "monthly_dread" doesn't add dread. You can test this by adding the modifier "ep3_the_conqueror_modifier".

I would say Steppe Raiders are just power creep, Equitatus are basically replacers for vanilla light cavalry, with a minor change to attack/toughness.
I don't plan on power creeping any of the RM "vanilla" unit replacers.

This is what I mean, the concubine and secondary spouses have been merged and everything has been moved up

It was another mod that was supposed to include a slave tab but somehow it got lost


You know, RM doesn't even touch the GUI for the family window (AFAIK)
So, must be another mod conflicting somehow, but not sure how

Oh, yeah, I suspect that Curo Privignos issue was just me hitting a big streak of ineligible stepchildren very early in the game.  Once things got further in, it became more normal. I just freaked out because it was a new version and it seemed plausible that it was a new bug.

 

(Unrelated gripe: Anyone else get really annoyed when there's a whole bunch of rulers in a region who just decide to never get married so you can set them up for an Abice Martius? I'm looking at you, Northern Italy and Tibet...)

I just started a game with this and nomads, I have taken the decision to find regula magistri. but the decision to free the keeper of souls is missing. I'm using 4.4.3. anyone have any idea?

Ironically enough, going for a God King government as Magister actually seems really inefficient simply because you have a bunch of other piety sinks as Magister. Although maybe you'd transition from more normal to God King later once you're grabbing for land less and therefore have less pressure on your piety.

 

Of course, the flavor seems pretty perfect for the Magister and the extra piety levels do also sound really good for the Magister. Maybe with enough piety and a high enough devotion level there could be a chance to summon an avatar of the Keeper of Souls and enslave her and other ridiculous ultra high piety decisions.

Noticed that the modimage.png?ex=683ef370&is=683da1f0&hm=7f7811326ea08742e6f32525775acd2e0e520fbcd66e505c1c37015429094c1c&= appears to misfire and play all sex scenes three times for me. Modlist is attached and nothing should conflict?

Basically, when for example, Visiting a Prisoner, or subjugating a new daughter, all sex scenes play three times  and there is a lot of clicking ' Cum Inside', Cum Outside, Wonderful, etc etc etc

do you meet the requirements for it? or is it totally missing from the panel and cant even see it to check?

Decided to mess around with ComfyUI to see if I could do a better job at the cultural tradition art and came up with the following results for the Famuli Warriors tradition. The first one is just made with my favorite trimmed pony model, its a bit more anime but its got some character. Second is PonyV6 + a storybook style lora. I converted the first one into a .dds file and it loads up fine in my game, just need to adjust the padding a bit more. If you like these I could do the others and figure out how github works to submit them (I'm 100% a novice at this stuff). Edit: added my attempts at Magistar submission as well for the same two methods.

Hi, does anyone have any idea to set this up?

 

- I want my knight / to consist of male and female

- I still want to use the regula female units (made up of women)

 

I don't want my males to do nothing in war and my women getting injured / scars / killed so much. I understand this will happen in battles, but at least sometimes the males get killed.

 

I know there's a Sheildmaiden/Shieldswain culture and a mod, but it only allows me to select people in my court (or close families). I want my other vassals to also use a combination of male and female for their knights.

You can heal scars and wounds using Mutare Corpus with the "Strengthening her form". And also forbid anyone important from being a knight. You could edit the mod files yourself to change the martial custom of the religion if you don't like only women knights.

Yes, I am healing their scars, but it's costing piety that I don't want to waste. 

You mention editing the mod files of the martial custom, that sounds like the best option. Can anyone tell me which file to edit and roughly where to edit? I have a little experience in modifying mods. (little experience = editing values, modifying traits, etc)

Common/culture/pillars

 

martial_custom_female_only_combatant = yes

to

martial_custom_equal_combatant = yes

 

Honestly this might be a good change in general, because it would allow doing away with the exception for the Magister, which has some weird interactions with the rest of the game. Maybe at the same time increase both the general prowess penalty for Magistri while increasing the boost from Magister/Compeditae so the natural tendency will still be for knights to be women unless the player specifically selects men.

Hi again,

Can I ask anyone to give me a rough guide on where to change (preferably the simplest change like setting a flag to always no)  on the code to disable the fascinare event that is Automatically happening.

Just a personal preference for my gameplay as I want to personally be triggering the fascinare activity manually to targets.

 

I know you can hide it via settings by reading the book, but I want to stop that background task from happening to somewhat increase the difficulty. I know owning the holy site triggers that.  

 

I'm referring to the event below. (don't want to hide it, just want to stop auto-converting people even i have the holy site.

What's the criteria for holy sites for the RM religion? I'm want to make some suggestions for at least some of the empires that are missing holy sites, so I would like to know what sites would be suitable.

Once you get hundreds of children, there is a lag issue whenever you enter the character tab for either your character or any of your children.

 

I've noticed that this only applies to someone when they have an overwhelming number of character portraits in their "children" or "sibling" UI widgets: so the game is basically loading all the family relations and their portraits every time I click on myself or my children.

 

Is there a way to modify the UI so that it reverts back to the old way of "limiting" the number of characters displayed in each UI widget? For example, I only want to display the first 100 children whenever I click on someone, and only their first 100 siblings.

 

I've currently looked into the mod files abit and determined that it's actually coming from Carnalitas, but I thought maybe someone else using RM2 might be experiencing the same issues can offer some hacks.

 

And no, having less children is not an option 😁

Well you can use Mods like hide dead children this will at least cut those out that have died for whatever reasons, not sure if it is still loading the relationships but the ui should be more clean, unless you are able to keep them all alive. But it wont cut your Problem with the siblings

There is already a holy site region for Persia, under the Asia tab when you release the Keeper of Souls.

While it's not purely mongolia, I made a personal mod that adds a holy site religion to the steppes. I haven't tested it since the latest DLC so I cant guarantee it still works, but here it is, if you'd like.
