@Undertalk, @Dark_Crow, @ipni20, the new CSR version I released today contains new event texts that are so far only in English. If you are interested in translating them, here is the commit that updates the translations with the English texts so you could see what has been added.

I just released version 0.23.1 of the main CSR mod with some minor improvements and bug fixes, see file.

 

@variaNTR In this version I added a new game rule for adjusting the frequency or or disabling the "Buy Foreign Slaves" event for players. It's still 3 years on average by default.

Thanks a lot for game rule update. I understand that we can dismiss the event and actually it's not that bad to have them pop up from time to time but with game rule it's far better now,  thanks again (main reason is that I usually start off as a small Christian character and I tend not do buy any slaves before I change my religion or gain more power, so to see those foreign slaves events over and over while I wasn't ready to buy yet was just frustating 😅, thanks again for an update)

Hi, I want add prestige from every slave I have .. So, old one give 0.01 and young one 0.03 and so ... Can you do it or guide me to do ?! Thank you ..

This will give me reason to keep salves as they serve me and serve my realm ... Same for AI ..

I don't think this is a good idea from balance perspective, since slave owners are a bit OP already. I also don't think slaves in general should add prestige, only certain slaves may, e.g. those holding Slave Concubine court position.

 

If you want to experiment, I don't think it's possible to do it monthly per slave as you are suggesting, but could be done e.g. via an yearly event, similarly to removing piety for slaves of wrong faith. You can check the carnx_slave.0004 event for how this is done currently.

pharaox, is it ok to ask if you have an older version of this mod? I checked Github, and you don't have an older version I want.

I want an 1.8.2 version of the game of this mod, if you still have it. Thanks for taking your time, I understand if you dont have it.

Hello. Just wanted to tell people that the csr_agot compatch file seems to not be compatible with the Colonizable Valyria mod. causes ctd when pressing the select your own character button.

@KatieKox8091 1.8.2, are you sure? This is by now more than 1.6 years old? I can easily reproduce any old version since I always tag the Git commits (btw you could do this as well), however I don't keep mapping to compatible CK3 versions (besides the number in descriptor.mod), or to compatible Carnalitas versions, and in this case I am not sure what is it.

 

According to GitHub history, the last version compatible with 1.8.* is 0.9.0, so here it is.

@yeetholes Thanks for reporting. I will check this out, but in general I am not able to ensure or even test compatibility with every AGOT submod out there, unfortunately.

@cocostirc I am sorry, I am not able to do this myself. But I am open to contributions, in fact, all translations available have been contributed by other community members. You are welcome to try. The best way would be to open a PR in GitHub, I will review and merge it if ok. You could also check closed PRs for available translations.

 

Translating game text is never "quite simple", even with the best translation tools. It is full of inline placeholders that such tools can't handle, and using them properly requires good knowledge of the language in question, as well as some modding experience. Most languages are more challenging than English because they have inclinations, genders, etc.

Hi, is it possible for players to actively train slaves and give them skills such as ‘oral sex’, ‘sexual intercourse’ and ‘anal sex’? The proficiency of these skills will increase the income from prostitution. Right now there is still too little playable interaction between players and slaves.

Also could someone be made a non-public slave through seduction and training until asked to join the court?

I wonder if we could use the conspiracy focus to expand on the ‘making slaves out of prisoners’ and ‘more interactions after becoming slaves’ sections of the game? Split the slave trait into two ‘Unobeyed’ and ‘Obedient Slave’ and use the ‘Training Focus’ on the prisoner to make him/her an ‘Obedient Slave! ‘and can be released from prison and assigned a job. Various training events on the theme of ‘breaking slaves’ occur during the training focus, and the player chooses whether or not to engage in various events that may involve sexual fetishes such as ‘gang rape,’ ‘sharing,’ and so on. The player also has the option of choosing traditional Slave Breaking.
Reduced the existing base earnings of prostitutes, and categorised the various sexual skills into three stages of ‘Novice’, ‘Proficient’, and ‘Master’, providing different earnings bonuses. Again using the training focus to gain and experience the relevant events, the difference being that as a balance, perhaps the probability of success in continuing training needs to be set to be cut based on the number and level of sexual skills a slave has mastered?
Sorry, I know these are more of the same old arguments for CK2MOD content, but I really want to be able to play these.

@ailianzhihui Thanks for your suggestions. Note that this is a slavery focused mod, not a sex focused one. Its main goal is to represent slavery in a (more or less) historically accurate way. Although sex was certainly part of that, I consider your suggestions to be rather in the realm of fantasy, so I don't think they belong to this particular mod.

 Hi i don´t know how to use this PR GITHUB sorry.. if you pre organized the files that are need to be translated and load them up and put here the link then  i will do the translation and help you out in this.

@cocostirc GitHub is the right way to do it, it's easy and you can find tutorials in any format you like and a variety of tools to choose from. The English texts are in localization/english. All you need to do is fork my repo, clone your fork locally, add the german translation (to localization/german), push to your fork, and finally create a PR. We can then use the GitHub UI to review and collaborate.

 

If you prefer to just send me the zipped localization/german folder that's also fine, I'll do my best to integrate it. But if I have questions / comments (I usually do), it will be far more difficult to resolve them without GitHub.

I think you're right, something in council or court positions. If you remove those subfolders from Common in the compatibility patch, things work.

@walrusman1234, @Quixotic I checked this. It seems all these mods change council and court positions in ways that are not compatible with each other, and this can't be easily fixed by changing just CSR AGOT. For example, "Colonizable Valyria" removes the Kingsguard councillors and makes them court positions. This means ALL mods that actually refer to those council positions would cause crashes.

 

As mentioned earlier, I am not able to ensure or test compatibility with every AGOT mod out, and especially not with AGOT mods that do such destructive changes.

I just released version 0.23.2 of the main CSR mod and version 0.5.1 of the CSR AGOT compatibility mod, see file. In this version I disabled "Offer Eunuch" for slaves, fixed a few bugs, and did some minor balancing changes. I also added a few changes for better integration with for my new mod Carnalitas Prostitution Reimagined that I released today. Enjoy!
