CSR doesn't do anything to improve it because there is not much to improve. Â Unless of course you use AGOT - there the Carnalitas AGOT compatch is adding the lore-based doctrines and the historical mod is not needed. I'm trying to get AGOT working, so I'll turn it off. Thanks!
battrapper Posted March 25, 2025 Posted March 25, 2025 I tried to increase the number of slave concubine positions and while more did show up in the menu, after getting 5 concubines it wont let me click on the positions any more.

Iwanttodeath Posted April 2, 2025 Posted April 2, 2025 I was wondering how to reimplent the feature where when you depose/conquer someone you inhert their slaves?

This is gone intentionally. It was mostly there because previously unlanded characters couldn't own slaves. Now, when a character is deposed, they keep their slaves for a while, which is more realistic and less overpowering for the player. For how to reimplement, you can check the github history for common/on_action/carn_slave_on_actions.txt and common/on_action/carnx_slave_on_actions.txt.
pharaox Posted April 6, 2025 Author Posted April 6, 2025 (edited) I just released version version 0.7.0 of the CSR AGOT compatibility mod, see file. It adapts to the latest AGOT release 0.4.0 from yesterday. Enjoy! Â If you use it, make sure to also update Carnalitas AGOT Compatibiilty to its latest version that I also just released. Â Note that the compatibility with the Legacy of Valyria AGOT submod has been temporarily disabled in this version, since LoV itself is not yet compatible with AGOT 0.4.0. After LoV is enabled, I will release a new version of CSR AGOT that makes it compatible with LoV again. Edited April 6, 2025 by pharaox

Some Carnalitas features such as seeding of doctrines, are only initialized at game start. Without this, both Carnalitas and CSR won't work properly.
Klein Moretti Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 This mod makes the buying/selling a lot better, but what do you guys normally do with the slaves?Â
TheAnswer772 Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 (edited) So idk what the exact issue is but slavery reimagined isnt compatitable with The warcraft goa mod. Like all the other carn, cbo, stuff works. just specifically the slavery one crashes the game consistently a couple years into every save. It was very painful figuring out what was happening/which exact mod was causing the issue. I enjoy CSR and would like to use it in my WGoA runs but its not necessary... Just no slave concubines and stuff... Â Moral of the story is bringing it to your attention incase you dont mind making a patch. If you dont have time/dont give a rip i totally understand. Â P.S. Great mods been using them for a couple years now on all my AGOT, LOTR, WGOA runs. great work thank you Edited April 9, 2025 by TheAnswer772

Unfortunately, CSR is now too big and touches too much vanilla stuff to be compatible with total conversion mods such as WGoA without a compatch. I struggle to maintain the AGOT compatch, I am not able to maintain compatches for other total conversions. If anybody would like to contribute a WGoA compatch, I can lend a helping hand, etc. Â The starting point for a compatch however is not CSR, but Carnalitas. It doesn't change vanilla in as many ways as CSR, but it still does in ways that require a compatch.

I tried finding the issue via error logs, and some other stuff. Its just sooo much stuff that i dont understand. Thank you for your reply though. And I 1000% understand why its too much work to do and maintain compatches for total conversion mods  well at least managed to port the court positions and effects associated with them into the main carn mod. All seems to work, plus no crashes so far (10 yr test run) Edited April 10, 2025 by TheAnswer772
fennecoverlord Posted April 18, 2025 Posted April 18, 2025 WARNING: NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ARMIES OF WESTEROS Â CSR AGOT patch overwrites several cultures and prevents AOW from functioning. It doesn't cause crashes, it just straight up makes the MAAs added by AOW not appear.

As mentioned previously, due to the scope of CSR being rather large, conflicts with mods that also overwrite AGOT files are likely and full compatibility requires a compatch. I am unable to maintain compatches for the many AGOT submods out there. You are welcome to do it if you like.  Should be fixed in the latest version, see below Edited April 19, 2025 by pharaox
pharaox Posted April 19, 2025 Author Posted April 19, 2025 I just released version version 0.24.1 of the main CSR mod, and version 0.7.1 of the CSR AGOT compatibility mod, see file. These versions bring bug fixes and adaptations to the latest AGOT release 0.4.0.2, as well as improved compatibility with AGOT submods. Enjoy!  If you use AGOT, make sure to also update Carnalitas AGOT Compatibiilty to its latest version that I also just released.  The compatibility with the Legacy of Valyria AGOT submod is now enabled again. The latest changes in AGOT and LoV enabled me to achieve compatibility with LoV without any special changes to CSR AGOT.  I also removed the "slavery cultural parameters" from CSR AGOT, since with the introduction of slavery doctrines specific to AGOT in 0.4.0 they are no longer needed. This should improve the compatibility with other AGOT submods, for example Arimes of Westeros. This should be backward compatible, but still starting a new game is recommended.  @fennecoverlord The overwriting of cultures by CSR AGOT is now gone, so the issue you reported above should be fixed.  Edited April 6 by pharaox
Xelren Posted April 21, 2025 Posted April 21, 2025 Hello, Â Thank you so much for consistently providing such wonderful and enjoyable updates for your mod! I've been really enjoying it. I have updated the Korean localization files (that I previously provided) to match the latest version of the mod. Â It would be great if you could include this updated translation in the next update. Â Thank you! korean.zip 1

ExoStorm Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 (edited) This mod is now amazing. Missing a commander, searching for a concubine or a specific courtier? Just buy one! And sell them when they get old, just like their less talented offspring. Great for landless too. Â Too bad there is a maximum for number of slaves. Â Could you maybe add renaming slaves? That was pretty common I think. Give them a name of your culture. Â And how do I become a famous liberator? By freeing my own slaves? Edited April 22, 2025 by ExoStorm

There is a max number of slave prostitutes, but not max number of slaves, or am I missing something? Â 4 hours ago, ExoStorm said: This mod is now amazing. Missing a commander, searching for a concubine or a specific courtier? Just buy one! And sell them when they get old, just like their less talented offspring. Great for landless too. Â I am afraid it is actually now too easy to buy and sell slaves, since slave merchants and their slaves from "Buy Foreign Slaves" event don't disappear immediately after the event but linger for a while, and trading ranges are far too wide. I am actually planning to make it a bit harder again in the next version. The goal of the mod is to add options and flavor, not to make CK3 too easy. Â 5 hours ago, ExoStorm said: Could you maybe add renaming slaves? That was pretty common I think. Give them a name of your culture. Â I probably won't do this, sorry. Â 5 hours ago, ExoStorm said: And how do I become a famous liberator? By freeing my own slaves? Â By freeing people you haven't enslaved yourself, such as buying and then freeing, seizing and then freeing, liberating, or paying a ransom. The Liberator attitude enables you to offer ransom for members of your faith that are not your relatives, so it makes it easier. Demanding from your vassals to free any "illegal" slaves also qualifies if they accept the demand. There is a counter and progressively higher chance to get the trait when it increases, usually you would get it between the 20th and the 30th freed person. Â I will probably make these fame traits leveled in a future update, so you get bigger bonuses / penalties with each enslaved / freed person up to e.g. 50 or so.
ExoStorm Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Thanks for the reply! The max number of slaves was a rule from Wicked Debautchery I found out. I just started a new game with some more mods, and when I want to buy a slave they now are the seller themselves, even if they are in a court. Did I mess something up?
