Mud Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Looks like I'll have to work on adding XPMS Extended to Elin 1. Please do, without a belly node all of my outfits that do have one get all distorted around there when playing animations.
wtfbbqerz Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Is it possible to add other custom hairstyles to the Elin race? Â Thanks for your great work on this mod, by the way.
PsychoMachina Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 The only new hairs I may consider are Ponytail Hairstyles and Kijiko Hair. I have yet to work on the HDT hair pack, something I know will convert over to Elin 1, but unsure if they will be glitch-free.  If I can get permission for the new hairs, they won't be released until I create an All-in-One hair pack for Elin 1 which also means the Apachii hairs will be updated.

PsychoMachina Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Is this any different from what is available from Daiemonic's post? If not then it's already included with Elin 2 HDT pack. This hair pack is what I will try to adapt to Elin 1. Â

PsychoMachina Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 I have Daiemonic's updates included with the HDT hair pack, that is why she (he?) is listed in the credits.

asssy Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Do you think you could help me? I can't seem to be able to install any race mods for my Skyrim game, each time I go to select it it instantly crashes to my desktop. The Elin race in particular seems to crash after I load a save or try to load a new game, which is fixed by disabling the ElinRaceTaint esm. I've tried the Safetyload mod but it still does the same thing. I'm out of options and BOSS says everything is in perfect order, I honestly have no idea what is wrong with it. If you could help me it would be much appriciated.
PsychoMachina Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 I need to know which Elin mods you installed and your load order.  What I can advise for now is if you choose the Elin in race menu and crash, you are missing one or more of the body meshes and/or skeletons. For the crashing when loading a save, try uninstalling all of the Elin mods then only installing the main package. The main pack contains the Tera body and default skeletons. Now start a new game and select the Elin in race menu or load a save that contains the Elins and see if the crashing still occurs.  If you are still crashing, try Skyrim Startup Memory Editor. Read the instructions carefully. If this is new to you, basically SSME makes the game engine allocate more memory blocks which can help when loading saves that normally CTD.  (check out Unkaar's comment below)  As for why ElinRaceTaint.esm is causing you problems, I don't know why, but I have a feeling the cause will eventually be known. You can leave out ElinRaceTaint.esm as that only adds the Elin hair/ears/tail sets, a separate ears/tail set can be selected from the FACIAL HAIRS slider. However, you won't be able to use the Elin NPC and Enemy mod since that requires that particular master file.  Â
Unkaar Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 SSME is obsolete, its functionalities are included in the latest skse IF the skse.ini has been correctly set.  Path is: Skyrim>Data>skse>skse.ini  content of skse.ini must be:  [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1[Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSize=256[Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048  -------------  (optionally add this)  [Debug]WriteMinidumps=1
PsychoMachina Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Thanks Unkaar, I haven't been keeping up to date with all of this (have not actually played Skyrim for well over 2 months).

PsychoMachina Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 From what I read, adding the '-forcesteamloader' argument to the skse launcher is needed if the SKSE 1.7.01 memory patch isn't working (first memory block not changing to the new value). More reading to do.

I also have the Legendary Edition version on disc, with SKSE v1.7 Alpha, without -forcesteamloader the memory skyrim patch does not work for me  when I added -forcesteamloader on desktop icon luncher, the memory blocks have become the right ones   else to do.. if you have antivirus-firewall (Norton, McFee, Etc..), find the function to bypass the check-control on skseloader.exe and also the boot icon from the desktop, otherwise blocks the memory patch seen as suspect-unknown , the author says.
PsychoMachina Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 So far I don't have problems with crashing and my AV is playing nice with the skse loader. Of course say all that will likely unleash the gremlins.
asssy Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I managed to fix the crashing when loading a save, but selecting the race from the race menu still persists. I'm almost sure I have the meshes but where do I go to check for the skeletons? Also if it helps I tried to install the Rem follower but that wouldn't work either.
