I removed Angeli after the new forum rule regarding underage characters.  Techically, Angeli did not break any rules, but I did not want the drama.  I'm considering bringing her back, but as an addon for the Elins instead of a stand-alone mod.

Hello...Im new to all this and I was wondering if before I get the 2013Dec10-ElinBard_2-1 BETA-English.7z   do I have to get all the ones below it or is everything there?   thanks

Im not trying to say the mod is bad(i love it use it all the time) but i feel the faces are a little stiff and emotionless, they are cute and i like them

 

but thats my opinion whether you put out a "fix" or not wont change me using the mod

Hello...Im new to all this and I was wondering if before I get the 2013Dec10-ElinBard_2-1 BETA-English.7z   do I have to get all the ones below it or is everything there?   thanks

There are limited expression sliders if using ECE.  I have not checked with RaceMenu.  Of course the last update from Bethesda "broke" the eye-blinking and facial expressions.  The NPCs do show expressions, albeit only the Combat Anger.

As for a fix, I doubt it, but I'll see if I can add some additional Expressions to the ECE sliders or test some of the other mods that do the same without using showracemenu.

It will be released with Elin v2 (previously referred to as "Elin v1.5").  I'm going to attempt to add HDT to the Angeli bodies.

UPDATE - Official Release of Elin Bard v2.2

 

Uploaded  Elin Bard v2.2 Beta (so far no problems so consider it out of beta).

Also updated the installation instructions and known bug fixes for the Bard.

Did you follow the installation instructions posted in the original post?

Are you using NMM?

 

It's an NMM error when installing the files.  Go ahead and extract the Main Pack.  You will need to install the contents of the following folders:

 

Install 1 = 00 Core

Install 2 = 00 Racial Compatibility (this is Himika's version; if you are currently using TMPhoenix' version then omit installing these files).

Install 3 = 00 USKP Patcher for Racial Compatibility (do not install if (1) you are using TMPhonex' version of Race Compatibility, and/or (2) you are not using the Unoffiical Skyrim Patch).

Install 4 = 01 Option - EN -Scale x0.8 (this is the master file that adds the race to the game).

Install 5 = 03 Option - Skeleton - ???? (these are the 3rd-person skeletons; choose one that best fits which Elin you want to create.  The "DEFAULT" options can be used by any Elin).

Install 6 = 04 - Option - Tera Body (this is the default body.  It's not BBP, TBBP, or HDT, but it is the closest to the Elin's body in the game, TERA.  If you do not want her to be nude then do not install the Tera Body textures).

 

Remember to  group together your Elin plugins and if using BOSS, not all plugins/master files will be recognized.

 

Load Order for the basic installation would be:

 

Skyrim.esm

Update.esm

<DLC Masterfiles>

RaceCompatibility.esm

ElinRace.esm

ElinRaceTaint.esm

-

-

elin new body.esp (if you choose to install the nude Tera Body textures).

 

Now check your game.  There should now be a new race (Elin) in the Character Creation list

 

If you are able to create your Elin, make a game save and exit.  Now you can proceed with the other Elin mods.

Good news, there is a mod at Nexus called MFG Console that enables the mfg expressions/phonemes/modifiers and player eye-blinking.  Requires SKSE.

 

I tested with my Elin and everything works even the blinking.

Heya, turns out the fox/bunny combo on 6b is still an issue on the extended, enemy, and new npc .esps. Could you please work the same magic you did on the Elin NPC.esp one on these?

k, also i got around it by installing ECE on top of racemenu, and after some fine tuning got a butt load of other stuff working, thanks for the help, also its seems that the ahiri "facial hair" does not change size or shape when modified with ece, dont know if this is a bug or intended, also i just remembered this bug, but when i installed the unp body for Elin, and tried to goto a room with a mannequin from MLLY(Mannequins look like you) it ctd, also maybe as a warning to others the racemenu morph will crash the game if using elin race

The ears are attached to the head node.  They will increase or decrease in size along with the head, but not separately.  I thought about editing the skeleton so that the ears use a separate node and can be tweaked in ECE, but I won't know until I try it.  When that will be I don't know.

The crashing when using MLLY would be a compatibility issue.  I have Mannequin replacers in the DLC Additions post.  You can tweak them if you want them to look like your Elin.

I never tried RaceMenu with these Elins, but I did test ElinRace 2 with RaceMenu Changen+ECE with positive results.  The update (Elin v2) will allow CME saves, but still no extra face sliders.

The files links are listed in the OP.  Some are files need to be downloaded from Nexux or a cloud service while most of the Elin files are downloaded from the forum downloader.  Locate the Skyrim folder.  Inside is the Data folder.  That is where you add the mod files and folders.  The main SKSE files are added to the Skyrim folder itself, but it's Scripts folder is placed in the Data folder.

 

The Data folder would contain the following:

Meshes folder

Texture folder

Scripts folder

Interface folder

Sounds folder

Strings folder

Master files (uses file extension .esm)

Plugin files (uses file extension .esp)

Archives (uses file extension .bsa)(these contains some of the folders I just listed and can be used as is; no need to extract unless you have problems using .bsa files)

 

As for trying the make the mods work with a torrented game, I can't help you with that.

I checked and the Elin Enemy, Elin NewNPC, and Extended (ElinRace Enemy NR) do not add any hairs so there should not be any problems.

Here are the complete NPC and Enemy files unmerged.  Contains the following:

 

ElinRaceTaint.esm (fixed Hair 6b)

ElinRace NPC.esp (fixed Hair 6b)

ElinRace NPC.esp - Hearthfires Housecarl (fixed Hair 6b) (requires ElinRace NPC.bsa)

ElinRace Enemy.esp (no Hair 6b)

ElinRace NewNPC.esp (no Hair 6b)

ElinRace Enemy NR.esp (no Hair 6b) (this adds leveled NPCs)

I have the files that enables the tails to be scalable using Groovtama's ECE slider.  I have only tested with Groovtama's skeletons.  If you want to try them then be my guest.  If the tails will not scale with the skeletons from the Elin main pack, at least you should be able to create CME slot save.

I figured out the problem with the merged Elin NPC and Enemy I posted before.  The merge scripts from TES5edit is unpredictable.  If I merge them step by step, rather then having a script do it all in one go, the results are more stable.

The ears are attached to the head node.  They will increase or decrease in size along with the head, but not separately.  I thought about editing the skeleton so that the ears use a separate node and can be tweaked in ECE, but I won't know until I try it.  When that will be I don't know.

The crashing when using MLLY would be a compatibility issue.  I have Mannequin replacers in the DLC Additions post.  You can tweak them if you want them to look like your Elin.

I never tried RaceMenu with these Elins, but I did test ElinRace 2 with RaceMenu Changen+ECE with positive results.  The update (Elin v2) will allow CME saves, but still no extra face sliders.

I have the files that enables the tails to be scalable using Groovtama's ECE slider.  I have only tested with Groovtama's skeletons.  If you want to try them then be my guest.  If the tails will not scale with the skeletons from the Elin main pack, at least you should be able to create CME slot save.

k thanks, also heres some issues you may want to work on

 

Interaction with stuff is kinda off (grab air, clip through anvil)

 

and touring carriages you sit in the carriage, not on the seat, kinda odd

For awhile I noticed my Elin was sitting on the carriage bench.  I think I was using that mod that removed the Race2Scale flag from furnitures.  However, it increased clipping when using furnitures.

 

The other issues are caused by a small race being affected by game mechanics meant for adult characters.
