Try reinstalling the mannequins.  Also try a different body texture, you might have better results with the normal textures.  Keep in mind, head texture will not be a perfect match with the body.

An important piece of advise if is using Moonlight Tales and the Summon Elin ring; move SummonElinRing.esp after Brevi_Moonlighttales.esp in the load order.  The reason is Moonlight Tales overrides the summon ring scripts and if transforming in the presence of your summoned Elins, they will disappear.  Moving the summon ring plugin after the Moonlight Tales plugin will ensure the summoned Elins remain and transform with you.

In addition, if using any other mods that makes changes to werewolf transformations then you might want to adjust the load order the same way as with Moonlight Tales.

EDIT

After testing some more, I realized the summoned Elins will transform when you use Beast Form and regardless of load order.  It's when you auto-transform during the full moon that the summoned Elins disappear, again, regardless of load order.

Disregard what I advised earlier.

Also Lydia changed into a werewolf.  Don't remember infecting her.

I was thinking of editing my custom fairy follower further, to give her unique voice lines. Does anyone know of any available voice clip sets that might fit her? With her blue color scheme and ice-based magic.

Posted

Both. I wanted to improve her massively Engrishy recruitment and dismissal dialogue, and give her some things to say in combat.

Posted

Nah, I prefer not to put in random foreign voices. Too jarring, you see. Thanks anyway, though.

I've been trying to think of young ice-based characters with lines I might be able to use, but I actually can't think of a single one in English, much less one with their voice clips ripped for use, so I wondered if anyone else had any ideas.

While snooping around I got the idea to try and get some lines from Hyperdimension Neptunia to make more voiced followers, though.

Posted

I thought of using that, but again, the foreign language thing.

It took an evening of searching, but I got my mitts on something capable of extracting dialogue from Neptunia. Now the arduous task of actually doing so...

aaauuoohhhhgod there's so many files and this tool can only extract one by one

mmm..

i can't run SD+ and Sexlab's addon mod with elin race unp bbp body.

is elin race's adjudication children? or any error&crash? need solution

Elins are flagged as children and will not work with sexlab and any other sex mods.  I don't use sex mods, not interested, and do not know any solutions for this.

PsychoMachina.

Sorry to disturb you or annoy you in any form. I was using your mod here to bring some fantasy immersion to my Skyrim.

I lately updated all mods after nearly 2 month and now im experience a really odd CTD problem with Elins.

I can start a Elin as a race. I can add one Elin through the console (but they have a serious impact on my framerate of about 30FPS)

But as soon as i want to leave an interior, my game crashes.

I disabled all of your mods for Elins and no crashes anymore.

Mods i updated are all of those Sexlab and some other mods that just worked fine before with your mod.

Do you know any of them, that got reported for conflicting?

If i cant find a solution for this i sadly would have to wave goodbye to some immersion.

Thanks in advance.

The first thing that comes to mind, based on the description of your problems, is running out of memory.  You can try, if not already, the following:

If using an ENB,

  • ENBoost
  • More performance-friendly enb such as PerformanceXP (what I'm using along with ENBoost)
  • Another is Anise enb, but it looks like it's no longer at Nexus even though it's fairly new.

Anise ENB

Maybe the author changed the name (PerformanceXP originally was named Puchi), I don't know, but if you want to try it, send me a pm.

I'm guessing you are using SKSE.  I have not tried the latest version, but I believe it uses a type of memory patch based on Skyrim Memory Patch by sheson.

As for mod conflict, I do not know of any and no one has reported any definitive mod conflicts as of yet.  Make sure all of the Elin plugins are grouped together in your load order with the Elin body replacer plugin last in the group.  BOSS does not recognize all of the Elin plugins so after running BOSS make sure to regroup them.

Thanks for your quick response.

Well im not using any ENB's and with 8gb RAM i should be on the save side considering it worked for the last months.

SKSE is 1.7 i believe. (The latest one)

And for that ElinBodyreplacer.

Is it that new elin body.esp?

new elin body.esp = (nude) Tera Body.  The non-nude Tera body is by default installed with the main files and does not use a plugin.

ElinRace - Use Monli custom BBP Body.esp = CBBE bodies.

ElinRace - Use UNP BBP Body.esp = UNP bodies.

The memory freezes aren't related to your actual system memory, they're actually caused by Skyrim having a critical flaw in its memory allocation programming. But Safety Load is outdated, instead, go get SSME, which is the successor of Safety Load, doing the same fix but without the crashes when using SkyUI.

I kid you not, go get SSME right the heck now. Even if it's not the fix for your problem, it is pretty much a miracle mod. My game was nigh unplayable before it came along, freezing like mad in cities and specific wilderness cells and hanging on infinite loading screens.

Eh, minute differences aside, Safety Load is pretty much no longer necessary. Primarily because of that caveat at the end about it causing problems when you leave it always running.

This restriction is enforced by SexLab itself (even if some modders also put them in their mods), it will simply dismiss child actors when planning a sex scene as well as races that are considered children. The solution is simple enougth but i don't think we're allowed to post such things here because of the rules.

Now to another matter, i've been using this mod form a while now to get rid of the another character resizing problem. And it does work, finally the children can use all animations without being resized. Which mean, no need to remove the child flag or change the actor type to something other that ActorTypeNPC so that the children don't use things that resize them. Well there may be some clipping issues but that is expected when characters are not at the default scale for animations.

Exactly what would that problem be?  I've been using Safety Load since it was first released and have not had any problems.  I had problems relating to CTD, but that was due to the Ateliers Maids mod which summons 10 followers.  Using the Populated mods, summoning 10 people during a fight with a heavily populated fort will crash the game.

I tried that mod and all seems fine, but during a stop-over at Riverwood, I noticed Elin Dorthe was adult size.  Later I joined the mage's college and noticed the Elin NPCs at the Arcaneaum (the ones leaning on the walls) were adult size.  It could be because I started using the mod during a playthrough and not from the very beginning; they were already adult size when I started using that mod.

Did you try removing the HDT files?  Did it show any considerable differences?

Try starting a new game and see if the problems return.  There is also the process of elimination method; deactivate the non-Elin mods, play the game for awhile to see if the Elin mods are working fine then, one-by-one, activate the other mods (sexlab last if possible) and test your game.  If you have a long list of mods installed then I would say, only test those mods that are retextures/mesh improvements, adds flora/clutter to the game, and those that uses scripts, especially heavy script usage.

As briefly mentioned in a previous post, Safety Load has a confirmed issue of causing CTDs when accessing menus using SkyUI after playing for a while. I experienced it myself, with the game just up and crashing at moments that don't appear to be particularly taxing just because I tried to open my inventory. After Sheson's memory patch came along, those problems went away.

Posted

I never had crashes when using the game menu or accessing my inventory which explains why I'm still using Safety Load.  I did reinstall the Atelier mod and, using the memory patch, I realized the crashing when summoning the maids during heavy fighting has indeed stopped.  Tested it 6 times, 2x at 3 different locations, and there were no crashes.

I have SSME, but yet to use it as the skse.ini edit seems enough for me.  No doubt there are no "one fix fits all" so it's a matter of testing and using what works.
