Normally, you'll have a Raider coming to talk to you. With that screenshot you've posted, maybe he couldn't get to you so he's stuck somewhere in the factory ? In my playthrough, I don't remember having something blocking the door's cage so...

thanks.
I will try starting again... for the felt 1.000 time.. xD

And I did wait more than half an hour after my post, to be sure xDD

Is there an ending if you decide to stay as a slave? Or is it just repeated content infinitely?

There is no ending released yet, if you stay a slave you will replay what you have already done in perpetuity.

That was an intense ride. One of the best written quest mods i have testet out so far. Especially the first half of the mod had a level of immersion you would nerver expect in that kink-mod genre. It gave a new intense narrative perspective on the whole setting of a woman waking up in an dystopian nightmare, alone. A perspective which is most likley way more real and fucked up in that kind of world. Very, very well done. It really gets into your bones.

The second half of the mod , which basicly was repeatables and the ending, was not as captivating as the first in my opinion, thought never letting that grim dark and nighmarish atmosphere drop.

The ending itself,

Spoiler

(Gristle letting her go if you chose so)

thought fitting felt rushed. I had the feeling there was plenty more stuff to explore in this specific story setting.

I also had the feeling, there was something missing in the route where the charakter tries to submit to Gristle and as whole.  It felt like there could be an option of avoiding more parts of that fucked up shit by finding the lesser evil in this world of monsters and getting gristle as some kind of patron by beeing trustworthy and loyal. He could have asked at some point Jared for some kind of patronage over the slave he caught. Jared seemed to just see her as a toy he is willing to use till its broken.  That could avoid the part of the mod where the character is is shaved and tattooed like the rest of the slaves and some other stuff. It could be an fitting option. Dont know if something like that was ever intended, but it felt like it a little bit in the beginning.

You should also try "Nuka-Ride". Its also from J.B. and you can find it on here. It has a very different vibe, but its also very well written and its own kind of intense ride.

Finished the mod, good work as always. Only bug I had was resolved with a reload. Loving the different MCM options for people to opt in/out of certain content, devil's in the details.

Only request/idea I have is to amp up the slave/powerless aspect so that in addition to us going up to customers and asking if they want to partake, they sometimes just take what they want when we pass by, similar to the harassment mod. But then again, that mod does it anyway so it'd be redundant.

Hey JB!

I had a thought: Is there a way to make the junkie path use the drunk voice dialog for the player? I found myself getting my junkie vaultmeat drunk as much as possible because her animations combined with that voice is hilarious.

I successfully finished the repeatable quest up to the number of ending quests, but the ending quest does not appear. Who gives the ending quest?

I'm on the drug route now.

Lindstrom tells you Gristle is waiting for you outside.

if Lindstrom didn't talk to you (as caveman74 said) you might want to use the MCM (misc i think) to check completed jobs to make sure you have

enough points for it to trigger.  i had previously thought i had enough, but was 1 point short and checking that at least told me so.

I check the MCM, but the number of successful job have enough point to trigger. Do I need more points?

When Gristle took you to DC to whore out, did you have the conversation about staying a slave or wanting freedom, if you did not have that conversation, I am thinking you might have to reload a save. Or write @JB. ,ask your question, in a new post, and he can give you the setstage to help out. I, personally like to do the playthrough.

Hoping this helps.

If you chose to remain a slave, you will never be released.

Exactly. When I get back to work I will adjust that in the MCM. The function to count how many jobs/how many jobs are left, is no longer of use if you chose to be a slave forever.

If the user has not chosen to be a slave and therefore should be free, I suspect it may be an error in the translation file. I see that he is playing in another language.

Yeah, I really want to close the Gristle story. I have it all in my head. The problem is getting it through the Creation Kit (and being in the right frame of mind to write it). Right now I'm in Nuka Ride mode.

Yeah, I can see that you would need a special vibe to write this mod. But we aren't complaining, either one is great.

loving the mod, any reason why there is no audio ?

Voice actors are hard to come by and usually want to be paid for their work. Most mods here are unvoiced, but occasionally someone with a lot of available time will make a sound pack for an existing mod. If that happens, it's usually not until the mod has stabilized enough that the voice lines aren't being added/removed/changed much any more.

I threw this into my, relatively kink light, Horizon build on a whim, mostly looking for a different start. I was immediately impressed with the dialogue and it's only gotten better from there (about 6 hours in). I've never come across a spoiler I didn't like, so I dug into the esp a bit and... damn. What an end. Happy to see you have future plans for Gristle. You don't exactly expect to find complex or compelling characters in mods of this nature, but he is exactly that.

I was wondering if how you align (sub/neutral/rebel) has long term effects or might lock you out of significant dialogue in the last quest? I've been playing this character as an extreme pragmatist that plays along, with just the occasional slip up. But I'd restart or start pushing a bit more rebelliousness if some of those choices matter beyond getting your ass whipped in the moment.

And not to mention, what looks good on paper/screen, doesn't always sound good or is even logical when spoken out loud. Just look at all the b movies that were "b" rated because of garbage dialogue.

Then throw in the fact that some mods reuse the same lines in different scenes, which is totally logical as long as they are silent. In one scene it might sound perfect, in another the inflections can make it totally weird.  Even how the word "no" is spoken, for example, is totally dependent on the conversation.

In other words, there's a shit ton of work to get it right. And personally, for most mods, I like the silent voice. It allows me to rewrite them to my liking, sometimes several times.
