EDIT - yes, I have tried resetting, restarting etc... so if someone knows how to pull a quest out of being "Dormant", that would be helpful.

Have you tried killing Kellog, exiting Fort Hagen, which triggers BoS000, then going to Cambridge PD....or the airport?

You can tcl through the Fort Hagen exit door, ride the elevator down, tcl to the left into the last locked room, Kellog will then open the door......... loot the body, read the terminal, exit.... 

 

Or...

startquest bos100

setstage bos100 5 (or maybe 10)

or

setstage bos100 255 to join the team

or

setstage bos100 275 to get the rifle.

or fuckit and

completequest bos100

I'm looking at the code. The key moment is when the first walkthrough to DC starts, there my mod calls the fight between Danse and the ghouls over, but seems to forget to do one last step.

 

StartQuest BOS100
SetStage BOS100 40

 

 

This script starts Danse's quest, so maybe I would trigger this quest once Gristle releases you, because there is no point in starting it during captivity.

That's right, I've noticed it thanks to user reports. Mysteriously I didn't have that Unoff. patch in my test modlist (it's a modlis with only the basic mods).

Thanks JB - this eventually worked for me.  I went back to save before reaching the police station, started the quest but did not do the setstage till I got to standing next to Danse.

 

Probably things out of order a bit - weird I got the proceed quest after starting the radio.

Hi JB,

 

I just wanted to drop in to thank you for this mod. It’s been a very long time since I’ve played a story mod that is as well thought out and as well crafted as yours. 
 

I really appreciate how much thought you’ve put into creating the mood for your mod. Without going into any spoilers, the thought you put into creating an atmosphere of helplessness for the PC is provocative and effective. The development you put into some of the NPCs in your mod is brilliant - they aren’t simply 2-dimensional ‘evil’ characters, Gristle for instance, feels like a morally compromised ‘bad man’ who while doing the shit he needs to do - goes about it with a pragmatic compassion that could almost seem kind at times to the PC.

 

I think you’ve also succeeded in making the PC’s situation FEEL dangerous … 

 

I also love the discussion between Gristle and Murphy on the church of atom - great dialogue, much fun…

Ive already made myself a patch forwarding changes from UF4P if that would be helpful to you.

I'm considering my next play though pairing this up with thuggysmurf quest mods, feels like they could pair up well together

Greetings. What if I started the Nuka Ride first? Won't I break anything in the end? First updated nuka, and then saw this mod, I really wanted to run in it.

Thank you so much for this mod.
In my opinion, this is the best slave-themed mod from all the games in the world, with huge potential for development,
I'm waiting for new quests

I'd advice to start a new game for Commonwealth Slavers. It has a clear ending, you could start Nuka Ride when you are done with it. Or you make a new Character with it. But once you start Commonwealth Slavers you can't really play Nuka Ride until you are done.

I mean, first I want to pass Nuka Ride (because of the update Nuka installed Fallout), and then take for Commonwealth Slavers.

Oh I see. That should work. 
The only thing to keep in mind is, that Nuka Ride is still being worked on, so whenever a new update drops, that might mean you can't experience something from Nuka Ride, because you are already in Commonwealth Slavers. But other then that, it should work

should work ok, with CS you are abducted immediately on exit from vault 111, then when that is over NR, but it depends how far you are in NR. Just into it, I would start over, Half way or more keep going. 20+ hours involved to finish NR.

Actually they are both still being written and released in stages, JB is a one man work force, people think he has a team of support staff doing all the things he dreams up for us, truth is like I said One person doing all the writing, programming, de bugging, answering all the questions from all of us on two forums, testing our found issues, correcting our found issue, programming fixes, releasing fixes. He is astounding!  I do not see enough thanks directed to him, at least as much as he deserves............

I came back to it after I had time to fiddle with it some more and scenes are playing normally except raiders don't place anything on PC except tattoos, no collar and no handcuffs, despite them being installed and active. Not sure how to fix it.

@JB. Please have it  so that you get walked on to the Vault entrance elevator or further away from it before being grabbed or what ever animation begins at that point. Cause at the moment you have a situation where you just hit on the rim of the elevator, without properly playing the animation.

Not likely.  That's one that can either be disabled on start, or simply left idle and turned off in the MCM.  Hardship doesn't do anything until you allow it to.  Otherwise, it actually seems compatible as another follow up mod if you don't want to go to Nuka Ride right away.  Perhaps our poor protagonist, upon earning her freedom, doesn't know where to turn. She still has her pride, and isn't ready to enter the life of a porn actress. So she makes her way to Diamond City and ultimately Goodneighbor, doing what she must to survive.  She meets a creepy pimp, or a classy pimp, and discovers that being a prostitute/beggar isn't much better than being a slave.  Maybe she should have taken that robot up on his offer for employment after all...

 

One way to play it anyway.

Hey awesome mod like always. If you already cleared Coverage can u still player the the mod or will it cause heavy problems? And is it possible to get your character preset :)?

When I arrived at the whorehouse at first time talking to lindsterom(?can't remember clearly),hardship activated automaticly and the thene was changed from training into prostitution and can't go on...by the way, love your idea about endings

Currently on job 33 of 50...

 

The whore house is an interesting place. Not only is it like 10 times bigger on the inside of the little shack you enter, the interior looks like an office building, not a house. Jokes aside, there are some traffic issues inside the whore house.

The patrons walking all over the place often get tied up in doorways. I noticed that when you're turning tricks in the whore house, when you're supposed to clean yourself in the bathroom your most recent customer will follow you. In my case, they always end up in the doorway to the bathrooms, so getting out involves pushing them out of the way.

 

The table in the hallway with the coffee pitcher could be rotated 180°. For some reason AAF has decided to use that table a couple times in my game, and the customer always ends up standing inside the fire barrel next to the table during the scene. I can fix it with AAF, but the alignment of my scenes break pretty often when moving actors in a scene.

can you select the table in consol ? if yes then you can rotate it "modangle z 180"

So I kept getting shocked to death in the beginning after the handcuffs were put on. Annnd I figured out why. I clearly didn't see that RealHandCuffs_DD_compatability was the culprit in my load order even after reading the incompatibilities list several times over. That ESP definitely snuck by me. After about two hours of trying to figure out what in the world was causing me to immediately die it I can finally continue the mod ?
