base on my game, no.. piper and mayor scene will not play and diamond city is unlocked forever...

 

also, i dont think crime and punishment conflict with commonwealth slavers or nuka ride because i have crime and punishment on while playing both mod... and everything works as it should..

Thank you for the reply Valcon, I am very interested in the quest from another mod you do before doing CS, are you willing to share what it is, I'm intrigued.  You and I share many of the same mods, so happy to hear for the most part it will be fine.  Cheers.

Hi Calvin_0, thanks for the reply, I am curious what happened in that office in security between Dwayne and that chick who dishes ot the bounties and fines in crime and punishment?
So if DC is open, which makes sense, is it still possible to meet piper in the newspaper office or do you think she simply ceases to be a companion option?.

She will recognize you as a slave (or should) and refuse to talk to you.

Once you finish CS, she'll be available again.

that i dont know as i havnt really spend much time exploring before decide to jump into nuka ride.. piper and nat should be in their office as when i return to diamond city after beating commonwealth slavers, the "my brother might be a synth" scene plays...

 

i just stop by diamond city to sell things =D

Hello, I love your mod! But I've recently had a problem where the game gets stuck when I get the pendant at the end in the Correctional mission. Even if I use the console code to skip the mission, the game still gets stuck. I have no idea why.

Everything couldn't move, the mouse, the screen couldn't move, all the buttons were ineffective, esc didn't work, only the music was still playing.

I don't know if that's clear.

mod = DCW (Deviously Cursed Wasteland) i also use the Cursed Menu mod to give DCW an MCM

quest = Belted (starts in Vault 111)

the quest starts during cryo sleep.  you wake up wearing a chastity belt, and have to figure out how to get it off.

so if you use a fast start/alternate start you miss the quest (and it's later follow up quest Alice in Wasteland).

No, everything stopped, it seemed like the whole program stopped working, only the music continued to play

that mean the game is frozen... it usually cause by fallout 4... there is nothing you can do but to load an earlier savefile and hope the bug didnt happen again, preferable one that havnt begin the mission.... if it keep happening at the same place even using an earlier savefile, it could mean there is an incompatible mod in your modlist that is causing the freeze... so you'll need to doublecheck your modlist with the incompatible list in the commonwealth slavers mod page.

 

game frozen is very difficult to troubleshoot... hopefully someone with more knowledgeable than me can figure this out.

I'm trying to remove all the mods and reinstall. God it's a lot of work.

JB, first of all thanks for the great mod.  I have just finished the story line. I had a few goes before I managed that. I think it may be useful if put down some comments on detected issues based on my experience. I missed amputations and castrations so I can't comment on that
1) make sure you turn off all mods that add enemies. I personally found issues with 'War of the Commonwealth' and zombie infestations

2) I had issue with tentacles. On one occasion collateral fire. On another the game froze

3) Be careful  with the SetStage console command. I used it indiscriminately at first and and some point I got stuck in the Whorehouse. I ended up using it twice (see below)
4) I had issues with finding the plastic in the bus station. It was not in the bin in spite of the marker. So I used setstage

5) I had issues with the final Corvega scene. Firstly the interior was broken. I guess it was some incompatible mod. Then the computer was not responding. So I used setstage again

6) I had issues with 'The Weapon' mission. At the end Big Bomb will not enter Corvega. The solution is to select him in console before he enters the building, then inside use 'moveto player'

7) I had repeating issue with 'train your dog' in the whorehouse. The dog animations would run OK elsewhere. I had to turn off animal content. This BTW made me skip the bear encounter.

8) I recommend turning off Nuka Ride if you fast start the game. 

9) I had an issue with the first scene in the Whorehouse. Lindstorm (or whatever his name was) was standing behind the wall to the right. I solved the issue by teleporting him through the cheats menu

10) I guess there is a way to beat Dwayne in hand fight without cheating but I lost my patience. I used invulnerability from the mod cheats. Do not use god mode.

Decided to try this one out before doing a new NR run through.  Went through and set everything up and thought great (cept for Skimpy clothes, and instead of finding the missing esp, I just "auto loot" my order....)anyway, I fixed that missing esp then.......got the first animation scene and no animation.   

 

Here is what I get, now the scene proceeds, just no animations, so somewhere I missed a simple switch or something easy.

Yes, I do.  I reinstalled UAP, and have tried other methods (reinstalling CS).   I think the issue is going from a working mod list from last year, selectively updating the animations packs as I needed to start playing again.    I also was outside the vault (on the vault lift, with Duke next to me, but I did not talk to him) when I installed CS.   Oh well.. I will keep tinkering with it.   Bottom line, I have read and heeded the manual and the instructions, but as I said, I suspect my issue is related to using LOOT or a mistake in the installation of the animation packs.

 

 

Just checked NR and no animations there.   Gonna pull all the mods and reinstall AAF.

Yep, I have actually advised people not to use LOOT since it is very old and seems to cause issues.   I never said I was wise, since I have to learn (again) from my mistakes.     Bottom line, don't use LOOT.

Noticed a bug (or feature) since the dialogue changed with declan where you can ask for food, medical supplies, skin cream

Picking any of the dialogue options gets you what you asked for after whatever sex act you have to do to satisfy declan but you can also use the dialogue again so you get double and all of the other dialogue options will give you the items as well

 

I.e. ask for food, have some sex, get food on dialogue start but food can be asked for again (so now have double food) and skin cream and medical supplies are available without any further sex/having to satisfy declan



Here i asked for food and got food but can ask for food again and medical supplies

Is it meant to work like that now? since before when skin cream was a ? and he'd tell you to ask him later and then give you some later i seem to recall the other two options required pleasing declan each time rather than a please once and get all 3

@pinky6225   Yeah, now there is a little timer and while that timer lasts you can ask him for various things if you already had sex with him. I think it is 6 hours.

 

After the timer, he will ask for a favor again. 

 

But I'm not sure if it's unlimited.

 

If it's unlimited during those six hours, I'll write this for a fix/tweak. But yeah, you can basically ask them for various things after you've done them a favor until he simply tells you that he's run out.

Its not unlimited as you can only use each dialogue option once so the only problem sounds like him rewarding you what you asked for on dialogue start (soon as dialogue box pops up) and you can ask again for the same thing, i.e. ask for food, sexy stuff, get food, ask for food again so removing the reward on dialogue start sounds like the way to go as then you'd only be able to get 1 set of food/medical supplies/skin cream per 6 hour interval

You can only get one thing twice that's it (the first thing you asked for). I always use it to get more food cause two cans of dog crap is far from enough. Don't take it away, i'm already starving 😝.

To fix it you will have to add a check using globalValue or player inventory... (not worth the hassle).

Mod incompatibility report for "To Your Face FO4"-

This mod prevents NPCs from making greetings unless they are in front of the player character. It seems to break the intro scene in this mod.

 

I was having a bug with the starting scene in CS. I would approach Murphy outside Vault 111, trigger the intro scene, Gristle would grab the player and speak a few lines and then walk away and the scene would halt with player controls disabled. I removed mods from my load order and reloaded until the scene was able to continue. I eventually discovered that removing "To Your Face FO4" allowed the scene to continue. I guess that since Gristle is positioned behind the player during the scene then "To Your Face FO4" would prevent the dialogue proceeding between scene stages. Since the player controls are disabled you can't turn to face him which would allow the dialogue to continue.

 

This bug was reported back in 2023 on page 144 but it wasn't fixed. This mod might have been the cause because it was released shortly before the bug was first reported.

 

The mod is part of the Tweaks section of "The Midnight Ride" modding guide, so that will lead some mod users into compatibility issues with CS-
