In generals followers are kind of wonky at the moment.

I am suspecting they are behaving that way because of either their aggressor got interrupted/killed before their scene starts or the follower's health falls too low where they technically died, but only kept alive through essential status.

Finally there's also cases where PC is down during a follower rape or follower were down during PC rape where calm status could throw something off.

 

Try enable all down scenario in the NPC vs NPC menu and set the % health for trigger to be higher.

 

Thanks for the reply. I'll try this when I get back to my PC to see if this works. Here's to hoping it works - otherwise I'll post my observations again.

I am getting no animation whatsoever.  I run the FNIS and this is what i get.

No GENDER directory Animations\male\
No GENDER directory Animations\female\
 
I dont understand whether or not that is the reason i am not getting the animation, and if this is the reason how do i fix it?

No, you don't need the update. If you are using similar to MO, you will have to find the work around to get FINS to work with it, or FINS won't be able to find any of the animations...

so I tested the Death Alternative features and I threw my char at Kematu and his gang and when I go into the DA state, some of his ppl including Kematu continue to attack me and some of my followers don't get knocked down when I do and continue to attack.

 

Edit: Yea, DA settings are really buggy. Sometimes I get up while there's a resist bar on and other times when all of my followers are knocked down, some of the enemies still attack.

 

Edit 2: Even though I had stop combat option on, I or other followers still get attacked in between aggressors taking turns. DA is too buggy with Defeat at the moment.

So is the mod maker planning on releasing that update anytime soon? It's a month and a half late.

 

No, I was planning to release it be the end of january, I'm not even one month late... yet. :) plus I was away from my pc for one week and that wasn't planned so there's that.

 

That's why I don't like giving any ETA, it's hard for me to determine when I'll finish the update, beeing alone on the project and thus having only one pov doesen't help.

 

Anyway, I was too optimistic I guess there was a lot of work left to do (Check/add/fix dialogues for surrender etc...) but i'm almost done, I'm making the final touches. I'm not gonna put extra post assault scenarios yet (because this will take forever) but I made it modulable so it can be added easily for future updates.

 

After the update I'll release a stand alone pose selector mod for SexLab as I mentioned here cause some have requested it. (this is included in Defeat's update.)

I need this update when it's ready, till then, take your time, enjoy yourself in the process... Do it because you want to, not because you feel like you have to, I have enjoyed Defeat for a very long time, and use it with every one of my games. I thank you for your work on it. I would offer to help if I knew how to do what you are talking about, but I don't even know what a pov is, so I can't even fathom what you go through, other than it is very time consuming, and no doubt you want to eat your headset when it doesn't work right.

By pov I meant point of view, in this context I'm talking about having several opinions instead of just one about what is left to do/fix for a mod is easier for giving an ETA, sorry if I wasn't clear, my English is far from perfect. ^^

Hi, not sure if that's because I didn't get the settings right, but I experienced that when I played with Selene Kate and we get defeated, the first scene works without issues. But when the attackers are done with us and want to finish us off, Selene (who is a very strong healer) brings us back to health so fast that the attackers can't finish us fast enough for the cooldown not to expire (I think its 10 seconds or so). So when we're finally down again, we don't blackout, but -another- scene is triggered. And another. And another. DA never seems to get triggered this way.

 

The desired effect for me would be that we get defeated, raped and then finished off, so DA can do its thing. As I said, not sure if a combination of smart MCM settings could achieve this even with a strong follower healer, but I was wondering if you actually could make this an actual outcome for a scene in addition to "End" and "Trauma", so that it would -always- do this. I feel that the best/most stable way to end a Defeat scene is to separate the attackers from the player in some fashion to prevent endless loops of scenes. Also this would probably work better with Deviously Helpless around.

 

Just an idea. :)

As you know I never use followers so this may not be of use, but have you tried different changing the DA Cooldown and DA Post Assault toggles in Defeat?

FYI   DEFEAT was written far a older version of SEXLAB FRAMEWORK ,  GOUBO updated DEFEAT to work with the current version of SEXLAB ,  HE IS NOT UPDATING DEFEAT HE REDOING IT TO THE CURRENT FRAMEWORK . The current DEFEAT is a good MOD , DOWNLOAD an learn to use MOD ORGANIZER an TESEDIT . I would suggest while you are waiting for the NEW DEFEAT take some  time to learn how too use these TOOLS   there are many videos on YOUTUBE That way when GOUBO is READY TO LET US PLAY WITH THE "NEW SEXLAB DEFEAT " You have better chance of KNOWING WHAT IF ANYTHING IS CAUSING PROBLEMS.  I SAY THIS BEFORE " MAKE IT LIKE YOU WANT IT "  IT,S hard to please EVERYONE  MAKE SURE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH " DEFEAT "  I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HARDWORK  OH!!! I forgot TAKE YOUR TIME

EFF has been working well for me and is fairly simple.

AFT has an extension now allowing up to 7 active followers and tracking of up to 64 (instead of 32).

I personally use Amazing Follower Tweak

 

(AFT) Love that one, Talk to a follower to configure 3 or 5 (with extension 7)max, you it can increase the number of available followers through a make follower spell, configure their stats as they level with you. The default follower skill sets are a mess, often times raising in an armor skill and weapon skills without the armor, weapon, or spells required for it. Also manage their gear, with optional home, and town gear. Make them Essential so they can not die, won't step on traps... Just the tip of the mod's better points...

I works for me, been using it quite awhile now and no problem what so ever with defeat, EFF its what i use and recommend.

Ok, having some trouble swith this, it was fine on my last computer

 

1) Sometims when an animation is initiated I will be telported into the sky, get a loading screen, and then the scene will take place with my character stuck in a standing pose.

 

2) creatures dont always strip (like the giant) or do their animation. Like the giant will e scratching his back with his nonexistant club.

 

3) After the scene ends, my character will sit on the ground, and be unable to move at all.
