So after a fresh install, I tested Defeat, it worked fine or seemed to on the first attempt. Thresholds were met, and everything worked fine.

 

I installed everything one thing at a time, tested Defeat on a few mobs victim and agressor worked fine...now it's back to killing me again, I've never had issues with a mod like this.

However as soon as I installed Fus-Ro-Doh, Zaz Animation Pack and Dangerous Nights, the problem recurred again.

is this a known issue for anyone else?

 

I'm not sure what's causing the problem, I realize Zaz is a resource, but could Dangerous Nights really be creating a triggering issue for Defeat?

 

Also, I uninstalled Zaz and Dangerous Nights - no effect, the same recurring problem of the mod not triggering and enemies killing me as if the mod had never been installed.

 

I'm really at a brick wall now, because I have no clue what else to do or try, I've never had this many problems with getting this mod to work, but I cannot get this one to work at all anymore.

If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

 

Also, the only time i've ever gotten Defeat to work successfully is in Helgen, anytime after that...nothing.

So after a fresh install, I tested Defeat, it worked fine or seemed to on the first attempt. Thresholds were met, and everything worked fine.

 

I installed everything one thing at a time, tested Defeat on a few mobs victim and agressor worked fine...now it's back to killing me again, I've never had issues with a mod like this.

 

However as soon as I installed Fus-Ro-Doh, Zaz Animation Pack and Dangerous Nights, the problem recurred again.

 

is this a known issue for anyone else?

 

I'm not sure what's causing the problem, I realize Zaz is a resource, but could Dangerous Nights really be creating a triggering issue for Defeat?

 

Also, I uninstalled Zaz and Dangerous Nights - no effect, the same recurring problem of the mod not triggering and enemies killing me as if the mod had never been installed.

 

I'm really at a brick wall now, because I have no clue what else to do or try, I've never had this many problems with getting this mod to work, but I cannot get this one to work at all anymore.

can someone help me with this problem?

 

Dose not sound like a defeat issue, sounds more like it could be a Sexlab or custom race problem if your using one and going with limited information its just a guess on my part.

NO IT DOESN,T  It can function just fine without it however you lost sum optionl "POST ASSAULT EVENTS"

Nope it is totally optional and honestly the buggest part of this build of Defeat. It works most of the time but I would get some crashes using DA. So I stopped using it for now until the next build of Defeat.

I'm having the same issue as a few people above. Surrendering works fine, events work fine, sex works fine, but after whoever my character surrenders to finishes molesting her, they turn hostile immediately, even if the dialogue leads to "you can go now, just get the fuck out of my way".

They are suppose to turn hostile, you have a short window to escape in. I forget exactly how long the window is but it is not really long. It starts after the last sex scene finishes.

Having one minor issue:

 

Haven't tried what happens when I lose, (Losing isn't why I got the mod), but with player as aggressor, it seems a bit wonky.  I'll successfully grapple and subdue them, put away my weapon, try again, pick the rape option.  They'll start unequipping weapons and crawl away, until after maybe a minute they'll reactivate and my followers will burn 'em down.  But I'll just stand there in place stuck.  (and keep standing there stuck)  (Note:  I do have submit installed, but everything is disabled except the consensual dialog options)

 

Curiously, if I go to the pause menu and exit out while the intended victim is crawling, the Sexlab animations start as I'd expect.  (and then after the deed, the victim will stand up, walk a bit away, then reactivate (and usually get burned down by my followers)

 

 

That out of the way, I also have a suggestion.  Some "Arousal" support.  i.e. an option so that your followers will only rape a victim if their arousal level is over a menu set threshold.  (Possibly even a per morality level option?  So a low morality follower will rape regardless, a high morality one will only rape if they're terribly horny?)

This is true, one mod I cleared out recently, shock salts - minesofskyrim, really played havoc with my game causing regular crashes, funny thing was it only had 3 scripts in all. But enough errors overall to really mess with the game, basically it's not a good one at all. Also I added an ENBoost that really helped stabalize my game that much more.

 

And as for Dangerous Nights, I hadn't checked for any recent updates as well. But added Approach and Attraction to my game, which has a variation of dangerous nights included, or at least that's what's written in the description, not even sure if the 2 are even remotely similar... The first time I used Dangerous Nights, made me raise an eyebrow... when I accidentally stole an item when trying to talk to the shop keeper, got arrested and couldn't afford to pay the fine. Went to jail, activated the sleep time away, and had someone break in just to fist me, no I did not strip either before sleeping either.

could you please add more dialogue to this it gets very old very fast.Some ideas would be like the aggressor to the player wont say he wants sex the player could offer it in many ways such as reluctantly say do you want my body or something like that, you could also add a way for you to give the aggressor all you items in your inventory and sex if you character offers it or the aggressor is greedy.I hope if you do do this you will expand on these ideas to make it a lot more immersive ability to this mod.

The player/follower as aggressor is 100% rewitten and works a LOT smoother, the menuing has been overhauled with more options.

Morality & arousal system has already been added for the follower and they can refuse to kill or rape (with the corresponding vanilla voiced line) depending on settings. :)

 

could you please add more dialogue to this it gets very old very fast.Some ideas would be like the aggressor to the player wont say he wants sex the player could offer it in many ways such as reluctantly say do you want my body or something like that, you could also add a way for you to give the aggressor all you items in your inventory and sex if you character offers it or the aggressor is greedy.I hope if you do do this you will expand on these ideas to make it a lot more immersive ability to this mod.   

I've added some lines and redone the whole conditions stuff already, I'll think about adding some more later if it takes not a lot of time or for future updates.

Hey guys long time Defeat user and great work on this mod Goubo, but I do think I may have a minor problem that I could use help with.  Fighting dragons doesn't trigger defeat or any sort of DA events when I'm beaten (DD+Dragon Combat Overhaul is quite a challenge) Upon zero health I get the knock down but its permanent, no death or struggle on anything just perma knock down status.  Has anyone else run into this before?  I dont think its related to being in combat because most of the time if my followers manage to kill the dragon after Im knocked down Im still in the status when combat "ends".  I was previously running with DA attached and found that DA was bugging my followers as aggressors as well as myself an thus uninstalled it.  Defeat recognizes its gone and Ive done a unistall and reinstall of Defeat to make sure.  Any ideas would help, I dont mind reloading my quick save when this happens but just wondering if I found a potential bug attached.

so i am having a problem whenever i surrender the game CTD after my weapon is and clothes are stripped.  if i dont surrender the sex happens just fine.  here are the last lines of the papyrus log
