1.6x version as it was a stable version and I didn't want to try the alpha build till it was more stable.

 

Then that could be your problem then. Defeat now requires 1.5x series of Sexlab to work correctly. Sexlab 1.5x series requires SKSE 1.7 to work.

 

So if you don't have SKSE 1.7, sexlab and defeat won't work correctly.

 

 

so I installed SKSE 1.7 Alpha and I notice that I installed defeat v5b.1 to b 1.1 78kb by accident and not the defeat v5b1.1 that was 400kb so it works now

So for some reason I have no option to rape npcs I knock down, I can kill or revive them but not rape them. I however can get raped just fine, my character is a female using Enhanced Character Edit's ygnord race if that helps.

As Nyin said sheath your weapons.

So progress is being made.

 

1: I unchecked "Gender Specific Animations."

2: I rebuilt the SexLab framework VIA it's menu and made a new save.

3: I ran the cleanup program for master files that was linked.

4: I added the required skeleton mod, and checked the box in the FNIS.

5: The animations are being listed in the game now.

 

However, the animations do not play. I intialize the assault and the DB strips the victim. They align like they are going to do something, then they like freeze frame in an "X" shape for the duration of the animation sequence. The ending screen shake plays and the victim ragdolls...but not actual animation happens.

Well we have confirmed it is not defeat that is the issue since it happens with all mods. Your best bet is make a new thread in the tech support. I will help you there as best I can so we don't clutter up the defeat thread.

 

Just make a new thread and list all the issues in the main OP of the new thread and we can see if we can track down there the issue is.

OK I'm trying this out and I don't seem to understand entirely how it's supposed to work.

 

I went to a bandit camp and let them beat the shit out of me until it triggered a scene.

#1 With my weapons set to unequip, it still tossed them on the ground.

#2 When the "event" was over, the bandits danced around me as I sat on the ground. When I figured out that I have to use that struggle bar to stand back up, I couldn't pick up my weapons. I had to run away and then come back and pick them up and naturally the bandits started wailing away on me again. So I killed them. :)

 

Then I picked up a follower and went to a bandit cave. My follower killed the bandits too fast for an event. I think I have to take away her weapons and make her just use bare hands or something. Wimpy bandits...

 

Then I got to the boss bandit and let him whack at me and..... he killed me. 

 

So can someone help me out a little here? I'm basically leaving settings at default until I figure out what I want to change, but right now I just need to figure out if this is how it's supposed to work.

Your first parts are all built into the mod the way it is on purpose. You can't interact with stuff, pick things up etc while under the debuff you get. That is a feature.

 

As for the bandit leader, keep in mind depending on your system and number of mods you have. Scripts can lag or you can be one shotted. I believe default means at 20% health or lower it can kick in. So lets say you got dropped to 25% health and the leader hit you for 15% of your health leaving 10%, then any more hits will trigger the mod. But if he kills you in one hit you die.

 

Also if you have script lag, even a tiny bit. Then you might get hit twice in a row before it has time for it to figure out if the first hit triggered defeat. This is a issue with papyrus script engine just not being very fast and the more scripts you add the slower it gets.

I use AFT and previous versions of Defeat worked well with it. I made a new test character when sexlab came out with 1.5x series so i could help test out all the mods updating with out risking my saves. My test character doesn't have a follower so I have not tested the new version with AFT, but unless something drastic changed it should work like it did before.

OK... still testing as I've never used this before. :)

Seems my follower will pick up weapons if I take hers away from her. But I gave her a Malo Body Wrap in place of her armor and ..... well she STILL kills bandits before we're defeated most of the time. 

 

And here's something I'm finding:

At White River Overlook where the boss bandit is.... he'll knock me down and then stand and wait until I regain enough health to stand up, then he'll beat on me again. Often times until I die. I have this set on THRESHOLD and set my threshold to 50% and he's taking SEVERAL whacks on me after I'm obviously below 50%.

 

Then I went into Redoran's Retreat. My follower was raping a male attacker and I walked over to the Bandit Leader who got up and commenced to thrash me good. Again I was taken below 50% and was running around trying not to die to see if the knockdown would occur. Nope. Sucker killed me :) 

So.... being the glutton for punishment that I am, I checked settings and went in again. Got killed by the bandit leader again. 

 

So my question would be:

Do some NPCs simply not follow the "rules" of Defeat? Or do I have a setting not set right?

The first part is a feature of Skyrim. Followers if unarmed will stop and pick up a weapon.

 

As for the rest yes some NPC's don't follow the rules but that is mostly because or morality settings. Some NPC's have ... lets be nice and say unexpected .... morality settings. So that could be the issue. I know Dkatryl went thru something similar with Submit with it not working with some NPC's because of their morality settings. I don't know what Goubo has the morality set with defeat so that might be the issue maybe.

I just did a little test myself. Defeat was working fine, then all of a sudden it stopped working (ie death instead of rape, companion wasn't getting raped either). Tried to clean defeat, still no good.

Then went into SexLabs options, and I remembered checking "Even Actors Heights". Then I remembered everything was working fine before I activated that.

 

So I unactivated "Even Actors Heights", Cleaned Defeat, and every thing started to work again.

 

Loaded my save did the same process over again 3 times same results.

Well thats weird. Wonder why it would make defeat not work.

Yeah, it is weird, and dosn't make sense to me either. 

Just tried it again, and same result. Rape works, and if this fixes my problem I am happy :D .

It is indeed odd, I'll take a look at this.

 

Oh and about morality, actually there is nothing that check the morality to use it on the script, changing the existing option do nothing because I disabled morality use in the script, it require more polishing and will be reactivated later, creatures and allowed factions are ignored, which should fix most of the problems related to morality.

 

As for the next update it's coming in 2-3 days I'd say, maybe sooner, it will fix a lot of things, dialogues for surrender are finished (will be expanded later to have more choices when there is several aggressors or followers.)

Will there be a fix for gold not being stolen and the issue with quest items (Gauder Amulet Fragment) which are stolen

I really wish mods would only let money be stolen. I carry too much valuable, rare, and irreplaceable stuff to be getting robbed totally in mods. Armor and weapons should always simply be unequipped, for nudity's sake.

Save this file to your Skyrim folder (the one that the data folder resides in).

 

Open the console and select your follower.

 

Enter "Bat Easy"

 

Close the console. Your follower should now be naked, unarmed and very easy meat for whoever you're fighting.

 

You probably don't want to do this on a save that you keep unless you want to use sex with your follower as a way to occupy the enemy.

Well I think the idea will eventually be you will have several choices on what all is taken. Keep in mind this is still a beta release to work out any bugs with the core parts of the mod before more complicated aspects are added to it.

about this mod, is unable to draw/use weapon after being raped intended or bug? because i always seems to get killed just because i couldn't draw weapon or use magic.

Intended but only until you get far enough away from the previous aggressors. If it is lasting awhile after you leave the area of your last assault then that's a bug.
