It's called tweaking and bug fixing. This is a BETA if you don't have the tempermant to use a beta mod then don't install it. It is going to be buggy and have issues, thats the point. Those of us that install and use it are helping Goubo to track down and fix the bugs. At the very least you could help by providing papyrus logs. I can only guess you are being condecening with your comment about sending the doctor like their is something wrong with Goubo. Perhaps you are the one that needs to see someone about your attituded.

Man, this is a hobby. And the user is suppose to actively participate in its development, not bashing around people like you're complaining for a paid service. Maybe is not evident to you, but you're being perceived sometimes as a troll. Which means someone who spares nasty comment, just for the sake of it. If, instead, you want to carry forward your point of view, you need to change attitude.
AngelosWingies Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 It seems all creatures in my game have some sense of morality and they never rape. Defeat was triggered and combat was stopped, but they just stood there trying to figure out what to do next, which always took forever. I'm having this same problem with Submit too, and both for new game or for save files. Creature support is ticked in both Sexlab and Defeat, Sexlab Matchmaker work just fine though

Modders and fellow players alike should simply not respond or acknowledge any unhelpful or abusive (especially the direspectful abusive) comments like MR's. If he ever writes something that helps a modder research a bug, that's different.

However, I recently tried to see if the Necrophilia function works, but after the initial stripping my character just kind of moves around like normal while the dead NPC has an option to talk to them. However, I can't do anything. Is anyone else experiancing this as well? I am also using the newest version of SD+ and the required Death Alternative, so I was curious if those might interfere somehow. Any info would be appreciated.

That said, I'd love a version for the new SL framework that was like the older version. I needed a mod that made it risky to drop below a certain health/stamina level, and the older Defeat worked perfectly. There are mods out there that add devices, enslave, or generally add to the distress of being beat down during combat and raped, and they work for the most part pretty well. Trying to create an all in one mod for this is ambitious, and if you can do it I will use it in favor of the other mods, but please also provide the tried and true simple mod while developing the new one. Off topic - how is it possible Magicrealm continues to have the ability post, if anyone needed some Nexus style moderation....

Well to be fair as far as I can tell all the extra features can be turned off and will be totally optional. All but the resist bar, that is the only new feature that has been added to the core of the mod. As for certain posters still having the ability to post. It is because LL is a very mature community as a whole and they don't ban people for speaking their mind, even when it is uncalled for. There is only a few rules that can earn one a ban that I am aware of. While I tire of certain posters whinning and demanding nature from free mods and modders, I would rather have LL as it is now than one that starts banning people. Now adding a ignore feature to the forums, now that I would be in favor of.

Bounty as when the PC/Follower ties up a defeated, the player has an option to report a capture – for bounty; the next time the player meets a friendly guard, or roaming bounty hunter, or Stendarr zealot; before the 5 hour timer runs free. Guard pays a bounty for each bound defeated. Or defeated could end up in the prison system somewhere [Prison Overhaul Mod plugin?]. Sparing a foe’s life is always a risky venture.. Nice work on strip animations and the knock-down framework, beginning to feel like natural part of game. Few suggestions: Remove the hideout, replace with added hideout plugin for Defeat. A plugin would allow the possibility for player ‘choosing’ their own custom house mod, or vanilla house or cell/area as a 'hideout'. Choosing a hideout would be similar to the many follower mods that give the option “This is your new home”. So when you defeat, tie, and capture you can then report to guard for escort, or summon guard dog to shepherd the Defeated, or send your follower with Defeated back to the home/hideout, or just trust the defeated to find their own way, but with a 50% chance they’ll flee. Sometimes subdued NPC are killed by follower, even after tied up, but not always. Nice to be able to ‘SL Sumbit’ them as well, to make sure there is no question that you don’t want a dead bandit, for followers sake. Have you considered using Actor Events [jbezorg’s framework] as a dependency? Though it really should be part of SL proper. This would allow all these mods to work nicely together, especially when preferred ‘auto threshold’ Defeat/Surrender/Enslavement are all enable, to avoid too much overlapping/broken events. PS, regarding followers in general. Making your own follower in CK, which is very easy, can solve a lot of problems, particularly when you use traits/spells/equipment and behaviors that mirrors your play style to some degree. Building a Ranger archetype Stealth-Warrior, with personalized behaviors, fixed most of my problems, and liberal use of the “Wait Here” command [just wish there was a "Get In Here!" yelp, or stealth whistle from afar]. Making them all non-essential, vanilla included, helps when they just keep tripping over things. The cream usually rises to the top when difficulty settings are maxed out. Thanks for this interesting post, the bounty system in an interesting idea, I'll think about it but for the hideout mod. And yes I do have considered adding Actor Events as a dependency but I'll work on compatibility when Jbezorg release SD2. I activated all the animations in SexLab for Player as victim, in Defeat I enabled player as victim, set my Thresh-hold and health min to be set at 90% and ran into a bandit camp naked. Minimum health is set to 90% too? If so it is the problem, you can be knocked down only you your health is at 90%. Set it to 0% and try, also try to get knocked down when low stamina. Are the Draugr GB's gonna be in the next update? O: Or the double spider I don't think it will, next update will be for optimization and fixes. So, guards do nothing when I go down. Is there a fix for this? Just attacked female guard in Windhelm to test, it worked fine. You either have a conflict or need to play around with the MCM settings. Occasionally, I will run into a bug where no one rapes my character, but that usually only occurs when my companion gets in one last hit or something and the would-be rapist dies. Hopefully I found the cause of this, when you are knocked down if they are too far when the companion is knocked down they are removed from the system but the state is waiting for the next aggressor. There is a function that shouldn't be here. Also now if your follower kill all remaining enemies your char will get on his feet automatically. This will make All down scenario working much better. Having a problem where about half the time when I start using the rape option after they are down it starts with the undress animation where they are crotched down stroking them, then my PC instantly stands up and nothing happens. Anyone else having that problem or no how to fix it? It doesn't find animations, take a look at the papyrus log. I have the same Problem, everytime I use the option "rape" nothing happens. If I try necrophelia, it shows a animation like pulling a lever to undress enemy and then, nothing happens. after this i cant even use the option necrophilia on the target aswell. When enemies knock me down they just look at me and nothing happens. I was like reading though this thread for 30 minuts now. But I am sorry... I didnt find any solution. I have installed the newest versions of everything + its a complete new savegame. Pls help me

Have you tried that? 1.56 removed the majority of the legacy functionality again. There is still one or two of the backwards compatibilty scripts there in 1.57.... but I haven't tried myself to see if it still works. 4.2.1.7 defeat was working with 1.55 though.

I was letting you know what the fnished mod would be like. If you turn off all the extra's which as far as I can tell everything new will be optional with the exception of the resist bar, then it should play just like the old defeat. Of course that is only once the beta build is finished. Until then it will have some bugs.

Sadly though, I can't even get knocked down, even with the same settings as before... I made sure to clean save, so I don't know what's wrong. I want to help this mod along: what should I supply to aid in bug fixing?

To me DEFEAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXCITING TO PLAY even at HIGH LEVELS You under estimated that BANDIT toon got RAPED used a HEALING SPELL TURN AN FINISH HIM OFF. ON TO NEXT QUEST PLEASE DON,T FORGET US . I WORK a lot don,t get much free time. I luv playing SKYRIM if it is possible could FIX IT SO IF YOU DON.T TRY TO RESIST THE RAPE BY PRESSING A KEY BEFORE TWO SECOUNDS IT WILL COUNT AS FAILED RESIST AN START SEX . Is the option to use SexLab stripping completely gone, though? That was one of my favorite bits. Or is it supposed to follow behind the scenes somehow? It's tough to tell, with all the glitches currently, what's working at all sometimes, much less as intended. Also, is the plan to integrate into Death Alternative?

BUT : When i come across an agressive group and no chance to beat them with weapons ... a gang bang starts, but never continues : i have CTDs after the first or the second scene, every time. + no way to save during scenes : if it doesn't CTD, the save got corrrupted with the faction bug: then you can always use the 'clean' function of the mod afterwards, but the scene is definitely screwed + if i save between scenes -> CTD hope it helps. Keep up the good work, your mod is so awesome !!

Which means if you get knocked down you should be able to hit the key and skip the resist bar. But that and other features will get added after the main core part of Defeat is done and all the bugs worked out. Goubo has indicated he wants the mod to have options so people can choose what to use and not use, but for now the focus of this beta build is to make sure the core part of the mod works before adding more.

This is the 1.57 compatible version of Defeat. It is just currently in beta so has bugs, since Goubo had to completely rewrite Defeat from the ground up pretty much. So it will take awhile of testing before we see a finished version. Stripping should work just fine, the stripping parts of Defeat is only there as a option to have the items stripped instead of unequipped. Goubo has said he will look at DA but unlikely because his mod basically is going to do the same thing only with sex involved. Eventually character will be capture and each faction will treat and do different things to the PC after the combat rape, locking them in a cage etc. That will be coming down the road after the main parts of Defeat is bug free, or at least as bug free as any mod can be.

If they do start, it is nothing but the character's stripped and some sound effects but no action other than just standing their naked. lol

Then I am left on the ground with the Struggle bar empty and stuck like that... unable to do anything. Struggle keys won't fill the bar either. Other then that it runs smooth. But hard to continue the game with that result at the end hehe. (Update) I went into the menu after being stuck like that again, and selected the Display struggle bar option and it instantly filled up and let me back up to my feet.
Whacked Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 My original point is that 4.1 was working, and while there were some major changes in SL 1.5, the functions that affect mods like this are not so many that it would be overwhelming to fix 4.1 to work, but also keep working on the upgraded and expanded version. If I was familiar with all the framework I would fix it myself, or at least try to help, but I am not. Things I love about Defeat, and cannot live without now in combat rape mod are - toggles for m/m, m/f, f/f, etc, NPCvNPC rape, my companion fighting on while I try to recover before being defiled, there are more, but these are what I miss now. I don't use the aggressor setup, but with Defeat my male companions can if they feel like it, love that. I use Death Alternative, and it is a framework as well as a mod of it's own. Modders can write scenarios, then pass them to DA to handle instead of trying to handle the whole thing in their own mod. It works very well, and creating a complete system that would conflict with DA might make it unusable for those of us who like DA.You've created a great mod that is very configurable so it suits a lot of people, so thanks.
