CGi Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 This message is part of an fallback, created by the mod author, so your not stuck, not knowing what's going on.Restart or abort the quest, by talking to the inn keeper again and try again later.
sheol Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I have a problem with the home visit Quest. It's not start. "Failed to start the home job" When that happened to me I unloaded the mod, played for a minute, saved, and then reloaded the mod.
CGi Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 ^That's not the right way to do it, nor how to treat your save game.
hoplaa Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I gave this a try just now and it worked quite well, nice work Some observations and suggestions: - There are quite a few problems with grammar and spelling. I'd be happy to assist with these if you like. - When lying to the innkeeper about number of clients the wording could be improved. Saying "honest" makes the player sound like the world's worst liar. - NPCs can be serviced repeatedly if I talk to them. There ought to be some sort of cooldown, maybe somewhat random, affected by attributes possibly...? - I'd like to see the names of animations printed in the console so I can disable the ones I don't like (there are quite a few of those tbh). Also please consider sharing the source code. I have very little experience in modding Skyrim and messing with this would be a great way to learn. Anyways it's a great start, looking forward to further developments

It's not very long though -Maybe -The source code is in the archive.
10minuteskyrim Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 i dont know if this is already been posted but by useing a companion mod which allows u to have more and other companions( i forgot which mod sorry) after the sex thier dialogue is stuck and they keep following you around dont know for sure if this is a bug or not Very strange since I use my own follower package for the client, it shouldn't interfere with other followers. I'll test. I got this as well. Using Interesting npcs, I got Gorr in Riverwood tavern bugged exactly like this. The only follower mod I'm using is Follower Tweaks, E LCR version, which basically just makes companions essential and removes level cap, shouldn't affect their behavior. Hadn't talked to Gorr before, so he wasn't my follower. Also I had tweaked the prices down a bit, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. I wonder if the load order has anything to do with it? I load Follower Tweaks first, then Interesting NPCs, and Radiant Prostitution last. edit: nope, loading Radiant before Interesting NPCs didn't help. Walking outside with him fixed his dialogue options though, got my money and got rid of him.
mainfct Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 It's doubtful that load order would change anything. This is because these NPCs have a lot of blocking dialogue when you first talk to them. So what happens is the following: They approach you with my trigger and demand sex, you accept and they start following. Then you talk to them in the hope of telling them to get busy... but instead they start talking about their breakfast and how lonely they are (and whatnot). Once you've exhausted these dialogues, mine appears and you can get to the sex scene and get them to pay and leave you. The only thing I can think off to avoid that is to make my own dialogue blocking with a higher priority i.e. like in the home delivery quest, as soon as you activate them again they'd start the sex then pay you. It's no t big deal though... it just force you to get to know a little bit about them before they get to know about you. hehe
mainfct Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 I've tried this mod and it worked perfectly until... exactly, until what? I don't know why animation has stopped to trigger after few tries. In the beginning there was no problem, but after 3-4 times with clients animations stopped to work. I have only dialogue options to collect gold after 'nothing'. I tried my other SexLab mods like Romance, and it worked perfectly, even your RP mod stopped to trigger animations. I have no idea what's the problem here. I'd need to be able to reproduce to investigate and I don't have much to go on. I guess 2 things are possible: 1) You've blacklisted too many consensual animation and no anims of the type selected were available, so no sex scene started. 2) The game has so much script running that the NewThread() reached timeout (5sec) without animating.

It's not very long though -Maybe -The source code is in the archive. - Will do. - Ok. - I think it should be longer unless the customer was very happy with the service. Making it configurable would be ideal since some players use mods to add NPCs while others don't, so the number of potential clients can vary quite a lot. Didn't think to look in the BSA for the source files, AFAIK they are usually not stored there since the game doesn't use of them. But thanks, I will start studying.

Now that I know how to fix it I can live with it as it is. Now to tweak the prices a bit...
AlerictheNord Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Minor Suggestion: When working as a male prostitute, I liked that the Female Client would ask "Don't cum inside" for vaginal sex. Perhaps you could add a line or two of dialogue afterward saying something like "I thought I told you not to cum inside" or something like that, instead of just the usuall "It was worth it" even though I cam inside? Would add some continuity, since the dialogue here is actually pretty good and really adds a lot. Edit:One other thing, perhaps not so minor...Would it be possible to remove the cooldown on buying sex from wenches? Because I notice when there is more than one wench in a tavern, the cooldown applies to all of them, rather than only the one I just used.
10minuteskyrim Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Hmm, a question about running the bat MF_settings, does it save those values on the character? Should I run it on every new character when I start, or does it store the values somewhere more "global"? I'm assuming the values stay if I save and quit skyrim and later resume the save, without having to run the bat again?
mainfct Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 When you run "bat mf_settings", it saves the setting for this playthrough in the monitoring quests (always active). If you start a new character, you have to run it again or you get the default settings.
Shadowman Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Not bad, but for some reason I always get a Runtime error when Mikel tries to have a go at the Bannered Mare. Don't happen with any other males, or females for that matter. Any ideas?
MonaBabii Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Question... If I give a female NPC working at an Inn, say, Saadia... the Wench/Tavern Clothes outfit through the console, will she automatically become one of the working ladies? Or does the mod take those ladies and hand-picks them for the job per say? Thanks in advance. Started over given how screwed my old save was -.- So far everything seems to work pretty well though. Using the latest built. The things I have tested I've tested them extensively, namely the food service and the prostitution, and the mixture of the two. I have yet to receive a special delivery quest, see a lady working (have only been at the Bannered Mare so far, not a problem with the mod), and probably something else I've forgotten about I'll keep testing and report as usual.
MonaBabii Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Not bad, but for some reason I always get a Runtime error when Mikel tries to have a go at the Bannered Mare. Don't happen with any other males, or females for that matter. Any ideas? I got something similar to this with one of the first builds of the mod, but it was happening with one of the guys at the HonningBew Meadery; Whenever the actual sex scene (after the stripping sequence that is) was about to begin, I would either downright crash without any warnings or signs, or I'd get a Runtime error window, freezing the game and basically having to force the game to shut down. -Mod author replied to my inquiry about that saying that it has happened to him a few times as well and said it doesn't look like something that is directly related to his mod. Likely too many scripts or mods working at the same time causing some sort of over-load. That said, the way I got it working is to just keep trying lol, eventually the scene will start normally. One thing I did notice is that sometimes "triggers" don't seem to register if you skip dialogs too fast with this mod. Just in case make sure you don't skip anything and let the dialog itself jump to the next line/scene without you tabbing out of it or clicking to fast-forward.
mainfct Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 @monababii: Yes, if you manage to give and equip either the wench outfit AND/OR the sanctified amulet of Dibella to a NPC who is running a AI package that allows random conversation (most sandbox package allow it), it will sometime initiate the NPC sex scene. By default it only works in inns and during the evening (read the OP for details). As for the bug, as I said, unlikely related to my mod. I happens for many other setup with SL or RP not present, most often when I saw it it was while the sex scene was running, at which time none of my scripts are running as far as I know. Still I don't think it's SL fault either. There is no error in the log, nothing. So, even though I didn't find a definitive solution, I'd go with the direction most post on the subject were going and blame Windows redistribuables. But IDK.
CGi Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 To clear things up, i'll try to explain the R6025 C++ runtime error in one (hopefully) simple sentence (technical details are available by using Google):Nowadays this error is mainly caused by the script engine (mostly when to many of it's threads threads keep freezing or suspending), as all other R6025 sources "seem" to be gone since the latest update to the game. This info does not help? Read again and notice the word "script" and think again. Btw: Disabling Papyrus logging can kill some R6025 errors. So if you don't need it, disable it. And yes, this error is somehow Bethesdas fault for not thinking far enough and trapping this error.
Guest Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Will you go to a room for sex or will they do it in the dining hall?
mainfct Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 Will you go to a room for sex or will they do it in the dining hall? If you are talking about the NPC event, they will go to a room (or near a bed to be precise). As for the PC, it's your choice whether or not you do it in public or in an isolated place.
CGi Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Reset SLs animation register and, if needed, reset SL completly. The animations hould then play again.
StayFrosty Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 I upgraded to the latest version, didn't realize I didn't have it and started new game and haven't had to fast travel back to Kleppr to re-set the Prostitution anymore, is working beautifully...Thank you mainfct.... I think I may have come across a clash with 'Sexlab Solutions' though, I am unsure, but it seems to be the case....Erik the Slayer's father Mralki....Every time Erik propositioned my girl for sex, Mralki would come running over. and stand right in front of my girl, even if she wasn't in the Inn...before, during and after her convincing Mralki with sex (Sexlab Solutions) to allow Erik to go his own way....I tried a number of quest development combinations and different locations....My girl had to turn Erik down each time (and I like Erik.... ...) or the game would CTD every she tried to have sex with Erik. Otherwise all perfect....
ToWannaLive Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 My character was sent on a Home Delivery to Mila Valentia, Carla's daughter in Whiterun, a number of times for a threesome. The first time, I went to see if anything would happen and happily, there was no dialogue option with her. I reloaded. I have very few mods and none about children so she should still have her "child" flag. Just letting you know. Great mod, lots of opportunity for RP, thanks.
mainfct Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 Just a small update! See the changelog for details. But the most important part is: I hope it's the last time we see Mila Valentia hiring the PC. This shouldn't require a clean save or anything, just overwrite.
