So when I escaped the X cross, my hands were tied behind my back with some metal handcuffs. I actually restarted the mod to see what's up and realized this didn't happen again. So most definitely a bug. I am wondering if this is because I had those handcuffs put on me before the fainting moment in the Fungal Cavern and they remained on me throughout the full introduction scene. I honestly can't tell, and I think it is unlikely to reproduce so I wouldn't worry about it.

 

One thing could be, the traps in the Cavern seem to put DD devices on you? As in they seem to be DD traps. Maybe that's where the handcuffs are from.

 

Fun fact, somehow I managed to get rid of them and I'm not sure how lol. Right now I am moving ahead without much trouble on my new run.

 

Also I can confirm Jurgin doesn't have a collar. I have Unforgiving Devices installed. I don't think this is a problem at a functional level? Just an immersion issue really for now. Will report if it turns out the become nastier as the story goes on.

So when i drink the wine It semi freezes then opens my magic menu/inventory. It changes based on where I click on screen or press a button. I activate the bed which does nothing except give me a bounty if someone sees it and then sleeping in the bed does nothing. I'm assuming some sort of conflict but I'm not sure what it would be.

 

I can't even start the first quest to get to the new stuff

Yes I had this issue too. Just wait until everyone left the room before pressing E on a bed. You dont need to sleep just click on a bed, script should turn your pc in ragdoll state and Irkalla should appear. If it doesnt happen maybe you have some coflicts with sleep-change mod or mod which changes beds
Magic menu or inventory should not open. It is 100%  conflict with some other mod

That's a bug with Skyrim I think. Happens if you level up more than 1 skill too fast too. You have to quit the game and reopen.

I'm having an issue once I get out of the X in The Gordian Bind. I get to the point where I open the magical barrier on the door. It is requesting a lock pick that I cannot find anywhere.

hint: item to unlock door is out of your reach and you must ask for it, meaning you must remove gag first with sharp object. Tool to do so IS within your reach, you only need to pick it up (it's probably in your inventory already) and...alter it. It is super logical, problem is, in 13 years of skyrim's existence nobody ever saw function like this (not me anyway), this mod is brilliant and your confusion natural.

For real. When I first played the first quest, and saw Frayed's method of puzzle, I was like "Nah, bro, this is some black sorcery, how does the game even allow this?"

I'm getting a CTD after cleansing the shrine of Azura.
I was able to do it once, but then  I remained  stuck, in 1st person view above  the labyrinth (like i was  out  of  the  map),  unable to do anything. So I reloaded,  but now I cannot  finish  it anymore, I'm getting a CTD after getting the  note that whatever I did It  worked, but then, CTD before the quest validation...
I'm adding a log if that can help.
Maybe I can use a setstage to skip the scene, but I don't know which one  :/

There is one possible CTD that I've seen in my own testing that has to do with a Skyrim engine bug with water planes that I haven't been able to work around 100% reliably. However, I can't tell whether that's the cause from just a papyrus log, that needs some kind of crash logger. What I do see in your papyrus log is a ton of stack dumps, and in the middle of that one that has interrupted part of a script involved with the Azura shrine scene. I'd suggest you investigate the cause of those stack dumps first, since they can and most likely will wreck havoc on all other scripts. Look for "Dumping stack" in your log and see if you recognize the quests or scripts involved in it, that may narrow down what is causing them.

I investigated, and looks like the old  mod that was causing the dumping stack was Spank that Ass that I removed, but I'm still getting a CTD at the same  moment.
I checked the log, and no more dumping stack occurrences are  showing.

my 50% mark review:

- if willingly accepting to move from part 1 right away to part 2, original won't finish, remaining in quest log.

- stone mask and "chalice dude" in quest 1 don't have audio.

part2

- 2 daedras at start mention "access to knowledge of last disciple", unsure how to do so.

- some other mod (likely other DD content) detects my vulnerability and triggers extra sex scenes. Even teleporting guy into intro cell to you. I'll check them out but maybe you can block this somehow on your end?

- once leaving intro cell for the first time, guy keeps following me and opening intro door for me if i'm forced back to cross. Not sure if intended, but in the end quite convinient. Also if i would throw devices from intro table somewhere, i would be stuck without his help? maybe..keep the door open after my first escape?

- in my first run, gargoyles and collar effect didn't work and bugged my char to be unable use furninure. had to reload pre part 2 save and do whole thing again. Sadly cannot replicate.

- as i mentioned previously, anybody who misses key to shackels and chain ball, thinking girl in robot suit might have it, is doomed to explore entire area at..what..30% speed? people will probably quit, which is unfortunate.

- daedric lock could use some hints. As of now , puzzel involves SAVE - put any device on - try and fail - RELOAD SAVE - try different device. Not a fun loop.

- whispering wall: spent 10 minutes thinking WALL is not supposed to be seen, walking there backward, staring at sky, cursing. Then i realised..its ME who cannot be seen!! OFC, so i returned to lab and picked all invisibility potions there! Make sence, thats why author put them there! ...more cursing... Read hint in this thread, felt stupid (again LOL).

- Maze: uterly confusing. Whole tentancles grabed and draged you sometimes looped 3-4 time in row without me even move. Not sure what creatures did or how raisng water supposed to work. also vision remained blury after leaving.

- Azura shrine: tentacle wall blocking it said I can pass when I wore red suit, but it never let me in, got past it with TCL. Not sure if I missed something or bug. Also, Azura removed most of devices after, including nipple piercing! Supposed to happen? Won't misstress find it odd later?

- Mistress bedroom: whole scene at cross happened twice, unclear if i failed at something and had to "re-try" again or if it was simply next day, and it was ment to happen, they are too similar. Also, during her me-time, mistress faces other way, not looking at me. Most likely bug. Also, I belive it was answer "let me cum already ffs" led to error warning "player didn't cum" + some other stage warning, convo broke and we just stare at each other, forcing load of last save and choosing "too bad you stopped" to progress.

 

 

Do not mistake this report as bad rating, once again your mod blew me away, no wonder it took so long to make. Some high and unprecedented quality stuff right here.

While i haven't reached that far in mod yet, i had 1 CTD at

The circle of bookshelves where it automatically casts the magelight. Maybe it is too triggerhappy or something? Just cast 1 minute long spell and put the script in 1 minute rest maybe?

 

Also about that same room, there was the magical lift that brings player to the red magic sealed door. I didn't figure out a way to unseal and open that door but i just jumped off the platform to the room directly. Is that allowed and intentional? The fences were low and gaps so open that you can just go through that.

So...the ending seems to be really bugged. Whether I..

Rescue Irkalla, or both her and Jurgin, once the collar's removed, Jurgin gets his removed (if he's saved), and I tell Irkalla she can make amends, she just stands there in place. From what I can tell, that's not the intended behavior.

I can get free and leave, but I can't go back afterward (don't know if that's intended or not) - there's just a missing wall model that I fall into.

 

Edit: Also, just realized A Snare to Loosen doesn't trigger completed if you choose to immediately accept Irkala's offer.

 

Interesting idea, if @Frayed's willing to indulge me. Making Irkalla a follower, after saving her. But not just, like, a regular follower. Once in a while, she abducts you (presumably with your consent, given the story lol) for having fun naughty time. The orgasm game, plus some other games. That increases replayability. Then, if he wants to add new mods, they could play off of this occasional diversion.

I thoroughly enjoyed the orgasm game arc, but I feel like it could be expanded.

(This also makes subsequent mods more episodic, so they don't have to be this complicated to still be fun)

Just a thought.

I think I've encountered a strange issue after the nightmare sequence thats stopping me from progressing.

After being put to sleep in the chair and woken up by boethiah. They complete their dialogue and then continue to stand there indefinitely. I can't interact with any devices, access my inventory and I seem to just struggle there infinitely. Its a shame as the update has been pretty smooth sailing fmp for me so far, but I'm unable to find a workaround for this.

I only ever got the starting room door open by wearing the gloves, boots and 2 shackles. Then forward i found many more like blindfold, catsuit, gag, corset, hobble dress, elbow shackle, petsuit, chastity belt and 2 plugs... I have tried numerous combinations on all 3 sealed doors but i never get through them. I tried the saving/loading tricks so many times i didn't even try to count.

 

Is it bad if you wear too many devices at once or must you were some very specific ones ONLY? I tried some of them 1 or 2 at the time too, but this is frustrating.

 

Other than that i have found a dremora in a cage and also riddle clues 1,2 and diary 1,3. So i'm officially stuck with the mod with no idea how to progress.

 

And i did find some cave where there was a strange force from water pushing me up. I was jumping around in there for a while but couldn't figure any clues about it so moved on.

 

Edit: I worked out the cave puzzle.

Some parting thoughts on the last 50%:

1. The bars in the way of the fork puzzle made me think I needed to remove them before trying the fork so it could reach. As a result, I wasted a lot of time looking for something impossible.

 

2. The timed puzzle is obnoxious, because of how unorthodox the solutions are and that it currently seems to softlock after a fail. I imagine the unfinished part might help with that, but for right now, urgh.

 

3. The staff puzzle seems annoyingly picky. I thought it was bugged because the staff of fireballs wouldn't trigger the destruction pedestal, but firebolts worked fine. Likewise, Calm worked for illusion, but not Fear in one instance. Also, if I hadn't gotten the solution here, I would've never guessed destruction as the school for love.

 

4. After getting the gem from Mephala, it is extremely unclear you're supposed to go through the bubble barrier in the residence to confront them. Also, these barriers remain super annoying as a guessing game with restraints.

 

Still very cool overall, and kudos again.

Think I'm at the 50% mark? Don't remember any messages 😃

 

So far loving the mod, lots of fun interesting puzzles, apart from lighting levels in some areas (had to turn off all lights and turn brightness up just to see) its really good!

 

As for my current status and issue..

I've got to the section where you have to attune the fork? So far I've managed to get it heated... but not sure what do do with it now

This is causing so much grief for me. Getting walked anywhere is like watching a drunk guy threading a needle.

Worst of all, if you get stuck, you have to reload.

 

My suggestion:

Fallback timer after X amount of time giving 2 options:

1: Teleport the player to the destination.

2: Restore player controls and inform the player that something went wrong and should move to the placed marker to continue.

 

However, I strongly dislike the forced movement, as it leads to a lot of unintended stuff happening.

In my opinion, I tell the player that something is forcing them to go to the destination and give them the choice of autowalking or walking there themselves. Put a small note there that they need to go there directly, as going anywhere else is not intended.

Regarding the doors, how about giving the player a tingling sensation at the location where something isn't right?

You will need those shouts, but not for the maze. There should be a shrine to Azura in there somewhere, and you have to pass a challenge to get to it

my 100% mark review:

 

trial 1: my fav part. Bottom door remains open, suggesting escape is the solution to puzzle, but got error "rayeq2: could not get collar FX script. collar is not probably equiped in section where should be", and char freeze. Also, sometimes mistress get stuck in "how did you get out toy?" loop, after locking myself. not sure what the cause is. Since her death is the solution, maybe make killing her conventionally also work? Escape/fight are most obvious paths, and because leaving caves breaks game and using kill command does nothing, one is left with idea beating orgasm/dominance game is path forward. Finding out death was still solution, I felt like cheated.
trial 2: balming tool do not stuck at crack, may fall underground. Loading saves in cell may cause embalming tools to ignore shouts and stay glued to ground, game restart needed. Also, pretty sure loading save screws up crystal timer. (unless its randomized or something). Also, one time dropping yoke made in dissapear/fall under and not connecting to grate.
trial 3: human guy is missing head (dd for males not installed). Sometimes, robot girl is not clickable/talkable, can walk through her. Not first time this happened, couldnt talk to her when she was home sitting on table either, reload works most of the time.

Staff puzzle room: inside was a chest with staff of magnus and aetherial crown, presuming this is the place my stolen stuff went, but 90% of it is missing, all armor pieces, all weapons, and all gold and gems. No idea where it could be. (maybe too much time passed and chest resets, leaving only quest related stuff?)
Lower sanctum: found dremora guy at enterance to living quarters, seemingly stuck at the door. Had new convo about gear needed to get to finalle, it involved plain iron elbow shackles and pet suit, however those are mutually exclusive and cannot be wore at same time. Had to TCL to get down there. (DD 5.2 installed, DD-NG NOT)
Ending: Trying out new Word of defiance before getting to sanctum left me standing in front of Boethia with massive cooldown. Saving everybody, final convos happened inside tunnels, not the best place, recommend teleporting everybody to quarters.

Ideas:
-More dialogue could change based on if you are volunteer.(maybe it already is, played it only once so far)
-Dont know if Molag's mark did anything, but it would be really cool if it was visible. (ass cheek brand or back of the neck right bellow collar would be my pick. Not loin/womb, most people use Lewd Marks)
-make control collar a "radio". somewhat randomly, and with decent CD, mistress can talk/whisper (one way audio monolog) to us some devious things. It can also be reactionary, teasing punishment if you cast a spell, some dirty talk if vibrating device triggers and so on. Simple flavour texts. List of lines would need to be robust, to prevent repetivness. It could also be accidental, hearing mistress during her daily "businesses", talking to herself. This could serve as hints. (kinda like hacked pipboy in new vegas - dead money DLC, hearing other chars mumbling to themselfs).
