I have that, but there is something very odd going on here....

I have, quite literally, uninstalled and purged every single mod from my skyrim install EXCEPT for SKSE and it's associated Address library....and it's still crashing when trying to load just the main menu. It would be one thing if there were a specific mod, but it's literally JUST skse loaded in and it's doing this.

Darn steam. Apparently, at some point despite having it set to not update unless launched and not launching it for a good month, it updated on Dec 5 and screwed up the files. So, I downloaded the updated "Best of both worlds" patch downgrader and put it back to SE 1.5x version, but now the blasted program CTD"s on just trying to load into the main menu. Can't be BAC causing it either because I disabled it and all it's dependencies in my mods just to test. So, now, there's one of my many mods potentially causing it and no clue at all which one it could be xD.

To think, it was all working just fine before and now it's gone all to hell and no clue how to go about troubleshooting it other than enabling mod after mod one after the other, which many have branching dependencies which will make that an absolute nightmare.

I got it only to run with the full patch, the best of both worlds causes CTD on load screen with *only* SKSE, SkyUI, and SE Sexlab installed.

Maybe you're using SkyrimAE, and it got a new update on DEC 5 that requires new SKSE64 and compatible mods.

Ignore if it is Skyrim LE or you are using a version lock, SkyrimSE 1.5.  Your issue is something else.

It does not show up when it cannot find all required mods. When you start up a new game BAC shows update messages in the console going all the way up from 1.0 to 6.4. Only then the MCM will activate. If it stops around 2.5, your ZaZ is the wrong version (as stated countless times before it needs to be *exactly* 8.0+ with the plus sign being part of the version number and *not* meaning "any version 8.0 or above").

That looks like a very old cowfoot from the time before @Addywil's contributions. I did no longer pack those old textures. Are you sure, your BodySlide ran correctly?

After looking at the page for the downgrader, I realized that myself. The author even has a pinned comment addressing that point and that they'd be trying to work on a new, better patcher as a result. Sadly, that was as of the 6th so I'll just have to wait on the best of both worlds method till later.

It is it was residue from the old version of the mod I had to delete the mesh bac file and reinstall the new bac hope it fix it

Welp, got everything working again and with the full downgrade instead, unfortunately that meant having to uninstall everything and install fresh, which meant things that worked before that I had working just fine, just decided to stop cooperating with me, despite doing it right

The overlays, I have them properly set in the skee64.ini file: 30 body, 20, 20, 20 for everything just as the instructions state, I have saved, resaved, and triple saved said ini file multiple times...yet every single time I get into game to test it, it tells me i have 0 set for all of the above instead. I know I'm changing the right file, especially since it's the only one that I know of, unless there is something hidden that I'm not catching as I'm changing the one here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins.

Hope I'm doing this right, but uploading a screen capture of the relevant entry in said skee64.ini to even show I have it set, if I've done it wrong and I'm just a moron not seeing it, I'd still appreciate the humiliation of that being pointed out xD.

Disregard this, I believe I found my dumb issue. Seeing as I used the full downgrade this time, I believe I had accidentally kept the newer racemenu, which is for 1.6, not 1.5.97 I'll give it a try now and see if this works. I noticed something off with that skee64 but didn't fully realize it till I installed the older racemenu and looked at it again. It doesn't have that spelloverlay setting on the older one.

The HDT SMP tail version is not maintained by me. I'm trying to adapt this mod's tail for one of the next versions, so for now you get the HDT PE tail with the black cow which has no working animation with HDT SMP. I've tried to attach the animation XML file to the existing converted SE nifs, but I do not guarantee that it works. Make a backup of data\meshes\bac\<any color>\cowtail0[1,2].nif (8 files) before overwriting them with this: Being a Cow SE HDT SMP Tail.7z.

Updates went all the way from 0 to 6.4. Everything went correctly, even Paul managed to spawn. However, BAC still doesn't show up in MCM. What do?

Do you have some old version loose scripts lying around? If so you need to clean them out before installing (see item #3 of the FAQ on the file page) because they will override the bsa scripts and may no longer be compatible.

so for whatever reason i'm having issues with various parts of the mod sometimes working and not working. so I'm obviously missing or messing something up in my mods list. if someone can give me a quick and dirty list of the various versions and parts i need to make everything run correctly on SE/AE I'd appreciate it. i have every file from BaC 2.0 to current, i just need to know which ones to use to make everything work correctly, cause i can't just use 8.0 stuff. thanks alot in advance^^

a) see Installation on the file page. You normally need 3 files from there all beginning with bac_2.0.8_*, any jsons should be no problem , though.

b) clean out any loose old stuff first (see #3 of the FAQ)

c) for the dependencies, especially ZaZ needs to be exactly "8.0+" (this is the version number, *not* meaning "8.0 or above"), Now, I'm not sure about the AE version, the SE version is *not* the one from the download section of the mod page, but is located in the 1st post in the support thread, look for "8.0+" there.

Hi, got a bug where after a mutation my body turns blue, i downloaded leatest tats files. I saw that similar bug was reportet, but even after redownloading tast, the issue still presists. I checked my folder and the file liqvandb2 was preasent.  What could be the problem?

which mutation? If you do not know, look into StorageUtil values in SUM MCM (Skyrim Utility Mod), IntList values for your character. There is one named BAC.Cow.Mutation.List. I need the last number of that list.

Can anyone recommend a good lower body armour for me? Something that protects my legs while letting my udders swing freely.

"The Amazing World of Bikini Armor" or "TAWOBA" has tons of different armor pieces for all kind of body parts.
Not sure if they conflict with the tails or udders though.

you need 3 scrolls, make 3 npc cows, and then use those scrolls on them for one boon. Molag Bal wants you to add to his flock.
