...0... Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Sometimes it's just about nostalgia and the feel. I remember playing this just before going to work in the morning going up 1 hour early so i could play some MGS hehe. But i loved how they re-released Zelda:OoT on 3DS i just bought the 3DS for that game(still have it also on my N64 what a difference in graphics if you comepare the two)so i could play zelda again man was this a great new release better graphics still almost same only few minor changes i love it playing zelda just on road i would never guessed that back in 1998 when i was playing it on my N64. But i don't have smartphone and sure don't buy one so i can't play MGS 1 that way hehe.
The DarkSlayer Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Still playing Bloodborne. Wrecking filthy casuls in pvp feels so good. lol
Angrybird Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Finished Metal Gear, it gets very repetitive in act 2. im not that far but i can already feel a similar pattern and it does feel strange infiltrating the same base again.......and again the gameplay is so good though..........you can tell the friction between kojima and konami affected the final game (mostly the story narrative) Act 2 is not really an adequate name it works as a sort epilogue you'll get all the remaining goodies and story then. With the content it has the game is probably better played in short sessions troughtout a good few weeks, if it had the 5 planned locations it would probably have better flow.
Mebri Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Witcher 3 of course... And i am thinking to buy some other game sadly there is not so much choice on the market.. i love rpg any suggestions?
Angrybird Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I pledged to not play factorio again until it's actually a finished product but my internal OCD wanted to play again.
Kaz Aanh Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Learning some unreal sdk, editor feels kinda off. Building maps from the already done presets , just like LEGO bricks. I preffer more flexible way from the Source's Engine Hammer tool. bugtesting friend's map and I already found lots of bugs Also yea, KF2 is amazing. I spent over 500 hours in the first one.
Guest ...failure Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Finished Metal Gear, it gets very repetitive in act 2. im not that far but i can already feel a similar pattern and it does feel strange infiltrating the same base again.......and again the gameplay is so good though..........you can tell the friction between kojima and konami affected the final game (mostly the story narrative) Good thing I dumped it then i wouldnt say its a good thing (unless you didnt like the game) because the game is still very enjoyably and the gameplay is really good No I don't like the game, I'm a somewhat a fan of MG game series, but this one is very repetitive, kill this, kill that, save him/her, destroy that, build this, do that project, and I like when games present sexiness, but quite is over the top rubbish (I mean everything) and there's poor character progression, I never felt a damn thing for "Snake" no sorry pity nothing (for something very understandable, I felt Max's pain in MAD MAX), and I can go on and on, I know nothing's perfect, but when it comes to KONAMI they can do way better than this, just my idea, no hate on me, k.
Angrybird Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It lost its usual pacing I understand why fans may dislike it, the story was finished with 4 to me so it didn't matter.
Kaz Aanh Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It lost its usual pacing I understand why fans may dislike it, the story was finished with 4 to me so it didn't matter. Too bad Konami cut the budget , we could get an amazing game. Kojima never really wanted to make more than mgs1 and he preffered to be a movie director. Thats why there are so many cutscenes. But also mgs5 is a prequel, it happens before mgs1. And if you played mgs2 you will notice many similar things that kojima has done. Don't open if you havent finished mgs5,its a huge gamebreaker below. At the beginning of the mgs2 you play as a snake and later he gets replaces by a raiden, same thing happened with the mgs5. In the GZ you play as a real big boss and in the PP you are just a fake BB, that had a face surgery. And Ishmael is a true BB, just hear his dialogue in the beginning when Quiet falls through the window. "Who are you?" "Who Iam?" "You are talking to yourself" Kojima once again rused everyone.
Angrybird Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 The beginning was weird I thought it was going to be fight club with what they said about the horn affecting perception of reality, a bit surprising but again I didn't care that much I played the game for the game this time, camouflage mechanics could be better but it's probably the best MGS I played.
Smithnikov Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 My arcade beat-em-up bone has been itching again, so plenty of time on my MAME titles as well as Streets of Rage Remake and some bondage-tastic fan made levels. Also need to finish off Alien: Isolation. Let that one sit too long.
Guest ...failure Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Just The Witcher 3. Is it any good, like do you feel it that you're playing it ? Just wondering because haven't played it yet...
EdinMG Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Just The Witcher 3. Is it any good, like do you feel it that you're playing it ? Just wondering because haven't played it yet... TW3 is absolutely amazing, stunning graphics, great story, gameplay is very good, lots and lots of sidequests, character development, scavenger hunt to find diagrams for better gear, a huge variety of monsters, and a lot of other awesome things, like Gwent (card game) for instance, and of course, mods. Haven't had so much fun with a game in a long time like I'm having with TW3, well, except for Skyrim of course !!!
