I don't know how are you planning to do animations, but what about hdt? I saw few videos where boobs actually colided with hands and I thought it could be also possible here.

Uhhh.. the Beta "equippable version" doesn't show up at all on my char, I can get the item in my items menu via console command, and it DOES equip SOMETHING when I select it; but it doesn't show on my character, and no penetration action during sex. I'm using a mod with a custom skeleton and CBBE pregnancy body mesh, not sure if that may have anything to do with it but.. Oh well, guess I'll try back in several months. Maybe it will be working by then...

 

The screen shots look promising at least, keep up the hard work.

 

I checked out the old genitalia mod out of curiosity. Somone in that thread made a version where they had "lowered the vag a bit so that it would work better with the CBBE body" so I downloaded that version and it worked; I mean it showed up on my character, I noticed that one was also set to slot 60 so it could be equipped at ALL times and was left unaffected by SexLab by default. When I looked at the model in NifSkope I noticed that the vag was by its self and was not attatched to a body, I'm wondering if that may be why the old version showed up on my character while this one does not... Damn, it's too bad that one is discontinued.. it was looking REALLY good...

 

Is there any way you could use just the model he created? I like that one better (but that's just my opinion).

Both the replacer and the equip version work fine for me, have you checked inside the body if the internal anatomy is there?

This vagina is seperate too, so it's not that.

Your bigger pregnancy mesh may overlay the vag body, so you probably can't see anything beacuse of that. Have you tried the replacer version? (Backup your current mesh and drop the replacer stuff into meshes/actors/character/character assets)

If you read the OP and the thread, you'd know that there will be no further work on Aegis' version, it was cancelled due to copyright issues. We made sure that we can use all the assets we have.

And NO, there is no "penetration action" yet, seriously people, read the OP......

 

 

 

Yeah.. I saw that insertion animations would be added during step 2 after I had posted this.. sorry. I know that the old one was discontinued or "[CANNED]", I didn't know it was due to copyright issues though, if that was mentioned also in the OP I must have either missed that detail or forgot.. that blows. I see now why you had to start from scratch..

 

How would one animate something like this anyway? Would it be an animation triggered by script; or would it work using some kind of physics (the vag opens and closes every time something gets pushed into or pulled out of it)?

 

 

I thought there were posts on the copyright thing in this thread too, oh well...

 

 

Animation will work like any other animation: The model will get weighted to the XPMS (as stated in the OP) and can then be animated like any other model. If that is done some fancy dynamic stuff (HDT?) could be done with it, but that's far off for now.

In short: This will enable animators to animate the vagina using the standard animation techniques.

Awesome work so far guys and girls, hope to see this past Beta test soon. I have installed this and am happy to leave it in place as it does not lressen the look at all.

Done, I sent a PM to MasterAaran and to kimbale with the Bodyslide conversion attached to it.

I didn't occurred to me that the conversion baseshape could be in any way useful to them, but now it is sent.

Do you plan to make this mod compatible UNPB?

 

This has been asked many times, they said that NO ports are planned, leave them time to actually finish the mod.

 

 

indeed, still I'm following this quite closely, since it someone manages to get it done, then it's just a matter of time to make it work with UNP and derivatives.

Interesting idea. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

 

Anyway, I may be off-base here, so sorry if I'm just being annoying, but I've done a bit of animation and modeling myself, and I had a thought. It's been mentioned that the model will be 'weighted for animation'. Well (this is just me thinking right here - I've never worked with NIF editors so I'm not 100% sure on it) this is what comes to my mind when I think about this problem:

 

Wouldn't the best solution be a shape-keyed model?

If you used that method, it seems like it'd be relatively simple to key the shape changes to an unused bone on the skeleton (like the rotational position of the unused penis bone or something). Then just manually manipulate that bone for the animation. You could use different degrees of freedom or rotational axes for different aspects (x asis controls insertion stretch, y axis controls labia shape for example)

 

And, hypothetically, the future project could use a simple script to check SoS/Sexlab variables in order to properly match the size of insertion.

 

Anyway, like I said, I've never animated with nif tools, so I'm not sure how possible or practical this would be. Is shape keying even usable? I have no idea. Just throwing it out there, I guess. Something to think about, maybe?
