Well now that the site's back up here's hoping for a quick update!!

Yeah, quite bad luck on the timing LOL.

I started out with Vortex whining about 6 mods (after I updated to SKSE64 2.1.5)

Address Library

CBPC

FasterHDTSmp

JContainers64

RaceMenu

SOS

I finally got  RaceMenu  after it was put on Nexus yesterday, so this is my last one.

Been dusting off other games in the meantime :)

This DLL is last before I can update to .353

Looking forward to try this great new mod MCM Recorder, but beware that if you are still running SKSE 2.1.4 like me it still

has the MCM keybind bug crash, so you probably wont be able to test it properly

cheers

When you say the last SKSE still has this bug, does this mean they fixed it in 2.1.5? Hope this is the case, this is so annoying....

Yes it is fixed in SKSE 2.1.5 :D

11.01.2021:

I'm getting a dll error upon loading Skyrim with the AE install on top of the SoS SE version.

Load order:

- SKSE 2.1.5

- XP32 Maximum skeleton special extended

- Schlongs of Skyrim SE 1.1.4

- SoS AE 1.0.2

Guessing the Skyrim update 06th January messed it up.

Hopefully you'll update the mod :)

Thank you in advance

If you guys don't want to wait for the dll then you can go to page 118 of the schlongs of skyrim se thread and download the sos papyrusutil file there. I have been using it for several days now. only downside that I can see is that all the data will get reset which isn't that much of an issue unless you have manually added junk to NPCs in which case you will have to redo that.

To clarify for those not quite understanding what you've provided here (which included me 5 minutes ago), You can download SoS SE then apply Erstam's DLL bypass as a patch of sorts. Erstam has graciously moved all of the functions from the DLL to pappy format. It's technically slower and less efficient than the DLL, but, unlike the DLL, isn't currently broken. If you don't want the error message from SKSE, you'll also need to remove the SchlongsOfSkyrim.dll from your SKSE/Plugins folder. Throw it in the trash, save it, put it in a museum, whatever. Additionally, you'll need at least the latest AE PapyrusUtil to run Erstam's papyrus version of SoS.

When someone does eventually update the DLL again for SKSE 2.1.5 (weirdly there are multiple AE versions available on LL currently--neither of them updated), then you can download that version and return to slick DLL functions again.

I wouldn't recommend doing any of this with an existing save, however. Not sure how save files are impacted differently between papyrus and SKSE functions, but I have to believe there is going to be some weirdness happening. Skyrim does not play nicely with weirdness in the save file.

However, if, like me, you are STILL building a mod setup for AE, this workaround will at least get you back into the game with SoS functionality for testing purposes.

I currently can´t load or initialize a new game with the papyrus patch. The game launches but it crashes as soon as I start a save or new game.

Don't forget you need powerofthree's Papyrus Extender. (the  correct one for the version of skyrim). when using erstam's dll bypass.

Was it payrus extender or just the papyrusutil? Erstam only specified papyrusutil but I've been running both for other mod dependencies. I'll update my post.

Erstam's patch requires the latest PapyrusUtil. Ensure you've got it installed. Also Erstam's patch is just that; a patch. You still need to have the full SoSSE and then overwrite with their patch.

These instructions are for Skyrim AE only.

Verify that you have all the following versions. These versions are current as of [January 12, 2022]:

Skyrim v1.6.353                     (this is the latest AE version from Bethesda/Steam)

SKSE64 v2.1.5                        (this is the latest AE version from SliverLock)

AddressLibrary v5                  (this is the latest AE version from the SE Nexus)

PapyrusUtil SE v4.3               (this is the latest AE version from the SE Nexus)

XPMSSE v4.80                        (this is the latest SE version; there's no need for an AE version of this)

ShlongsOfSkyrim SE v1.1.4     (this is the latest SE version; with Erstam's patch, there's no need for an AE version)

Erstam's SoS papyrus patch    (this is the ONLY available version at the moment and it is intended to patch SoS SE v1.1.4 listed above)

If you install these and only these mods, in order, you should be good to go. Don't forget to remove the SchlongsOfSkyrim.dll from Data/SKSE/Plugins. I'm using these and quite a few other mods for my AE build, and I have SoS working as intended. I tested just a moment ago.

Invisible bodies and scaling issues sound like a mod conflict somewhere else. Try testing a new save with ONLY the above mods. Once you've established a working baseline, you can add more mods incrementally until you find your conflict.

How can you turn on the dick. I'm not seeing it on the mod menu.

SoS can sometimes be a little slow on it's MCM. Ensure you have the mod enabled if you're using an MO or wryeSmash. Then start a new game, save, and then load that save. I use Jaxonz MCM Kicker to help things along when there are lots of MCMs to load.

Can I uninstall SoS even with the broken DLL, then continue playing the game, then re-install SoS once the DLL is fixed?  I've been seeing mixed answers about it...
