mine was working perfectly fine, then last night I have default brown underwear and no dong........

I found instructions a while back of how to get rid of this, you have to use SSEEdit to remove the underwear.

I cant seem to find it in my history, but I am pretty sure there are instructions in SOS SE or SOS LE forum.

Hi, Like several others, I am experiencing problems with this SoS AE version.  I cannot equip any armor with body slots 32 and 52 at the same time.  If I equip slot 32 then any armor with slot 52 will disable.  If I equip slot 52 alone its fine but when i equip slot 32 again, slot 52 disables again.

I am using latest versions of everything.

Only way I found to make the problem go away is to disable SOS altogether.

Never had this problem pre-AE

I hate it when folks say they miss the good old days - You mean the time before indoor plumbing and life expectancy was around 50?  Oh and dont forget the good old days of dial-up modems!

Well, they went ahead and updated again. This time for such an small issue that was already solved by modders two days after it was discovered. I'm so very upset, as I'm sure we all are. That being said, take your time in getting to this. I'm hoping that it isn't a difficult task, given that the update was so small.

Yes.  There is a pretty obvious "Follow" button the the top of the page which allows various options for notification.  Just a little due diligence goes a long way....

Seeing how the update only iterates the version up one, we''ll likely see a update depending on if the mod author is still around or not, but it won't take forever for sure if they're active because the new update only fixed one bug

As much as I wish you were correct, it's a lot more complicated than it seems. When bethesda does a "tiny" update they repack the entire exe file which basically shuffles all the data around so then skse has to be updated and they need to test and make sure they get all the links back to the right data( they managed this in record time because they are awesome) then they have to put out the docs so the mod authors that rely on skse can know which calls to link to what data. then they can update their mods, then test and finally they grace us with the files so we can play with our digital wieners again.

So a little patience and a moderate amount of bitching at todd the wiener thief then hopefully we can get back to streaking across skyrim again.

Statement & potentially dumb question from a new modder:

My game still starts up and runs with the obvious dll warning. Everything still runs as intended minus the packages (replaced with default SOS undies). My question is: would I be able to continue playing as is without fucking up my save files until the update releases, or should I wait? Because I can live without seeing dick for a little while if it means I can still progress until the update.

I wouldn't run the obsolete version, but you could probably just disable the mod for the time being without too many issues.

Bethesda needs to stop pushing updates.  Stop bricking things Tom!

This particular update fixed a major crash bug.

the unfortunate part, is instead of shipping just a patch for the BSA files, they decided to recompile the executable and ship it.

Maybe it fixed some issues, who knows.

Honestly, the modding community is better at patching these things than Bethesda is, they had it patched within a day.

It's less modders being more capable and moreso bethesda deciding to go about fixing the issue in the most asinine way.

A simple 15MB patch on Steam would have solved the issue, but as far as my reading goes, it's not that simple on the Windows Store, a platform Bethesda supports the game on.

So like is there any way to role back from this and stop steam from updating my game in the future? Like I have it set to update my game on launch and when I started skse, I got a popup that said steam was updating the game, and I exed out of it, thinking that would stop them, but apparently not

don't launch the game through steam, at all.

Also set it to only download updates at launch.

For now, wait, or try your luck with a downgrader.

To disable Steam from updating games, you have:

1) to set the Game-Update to "When I start the Game" in the game options

2) in Steam options, set the allowed download time for patches to a time, when Steam is off (for example middle of the night)
