A quick heads up for everyone using SLAX, specifically the SE version found hereĀ https://www.loverslab.com/topic/130406-sexlab-aroused-extended/page/27/#comment-3453623

For some reason SL Widgets breaks the non-vanilla SLA functions of SLAX, i.e. the Frustration, Masochist, Exhibitionist features causing stack dumping and preventing the calculation from working as intended. For some reason with SL-Widgets enabled it can't fill the proper faction references.

I don't think it is really game breaking but something to consider.Ā

Thanks for the investigation. I'm not 100% sure what caused it as there's no factions override or script changes like in SLSO, however here's what I've done in 2.0,5 :

1) I've rebuild the plugin without stubs with SexLab Aroused eXtended SE. (not so straight-forward cause of cross references with SLSO)
2) SLA Factions are now used as a main source of data - avoiding internal SLA calls as they have lots of side effects. Should work with SLAM as well.
3) All icons are disabled by default for new games so SL/SLA etc. can initialize before SLWidgets starts pulling data.Ā 
After those changes I don't see any errors in the log anymore.

P.S. SLAXĀ should override SLSO as you know.

P.P.S I've also seen the same symptoms earlier in the SLA threadĀ

Thanks for the update! I will reinstall as soon as I can and do a quick test. I think having all icons default to disabled is a good idea.Ā

Having a large LO is a blessing (awesome game) and a curse, cause you find every single issue that can pop up. I'm beyond the point where I believe that it was all SL Widgets fault. For heavens sake I had the same null reference error pop up in conjunction withĀ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62413Ā of all mods. It changes a single script.Ā

Well I'm at least glad that some kind of improvement was had through all of this. :D

I had just noticed those same errors today. I was about to update (still on 1.0 because none of the updates were relevant to me) but I seem to remember that one of the updates along the way required some special care?

Install the version you had before and load the save file before upgrade.Ā

I cannot get the widgets to load at all, I don't know what is wrong, new game.

Is there a start quest I can type in to force it? It is not registering in I want status bars and if I hit Load it comes back with xml does not exist.Ā

Bug report: there is no specification on update procedure from 2.0.3 to 2.0.5, updating the mod midplay will make you CTD. Simply disabling 2.0.3 in mcm does not help. Script cleaning - either. Disabling mod, then plugin and attempt to load - save corruption.

That's probably because of the 2.0.5 recompilation. Is the new game working for you? I'll try to reproduce and change version numberĀ

Yes it works but only after a new start. Nothing I tried worked, must be of baked string variables that it could not resolve on load, these were the only that left after cleaning.

Idk. I've tried a new game with 2.0.3 then upgraded to 2.0.5. Worked without ctd or something. icons showing up. Mcm as well. Could be a specific integration though.Ā

Getting this overlap anytime I reload a save. Happens after death/reload every time and about 50% of the time when i load a save at start. Any help is appreciated

You most probably installed iwantwidgets. Esp twice. Check troubleshooting sectionĀ

Im an idiot....but why would a FOMOD install and esl AND an esp? Anyway...thanks. I Love the mod and would love to see Soul Gem oven Milk and Gem status added :-)Ā Ā
