someperson5234 Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 I am getting an issue where everytime i get knocked down, it'll play the stripping animation with the aggressor, and then just skip past the animation, and i'll get up and the npc will keep attacking me. i get a message saying that the actor is invalid, and this started happening long into a playthrough where everything was working fine, and then it just stopped working. I've tried with humans, beast races, and creatures, and the only way sex scenes work is if it's initiated by something other than defeat, but it might be something with sexlab not allowing scenes with actors in combat, because i can't start scenes with an attacker using the sexlab mcm. anyone know how to fix it?
Guest Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 frankly this mod seems buggier then it used to be, the animation selection menu seems to be disable for some stupid reason, need to find a newer defeat mod that fully works

Good day. *tips hat* Wow , thank you for your suggestions I found this pack , it covers a large variety of creatures : It is pretty good actually. Player as Victim is enabled, chance on injury and exhaustion are set to 100 with a max health/stamina of 100 and minimum of 5. I have hundreds of animations installed and can't even get knocked down reliably by a simple Forsworn (also tried dragon, mudcrab, bandits, guards...). Male humanoids and creatures are enabled, and surrender works fine. On VERY rare occasion, I might get knocked down, but even with the chance at 100, I usually die a LOT before it actually happens, because I have bleed out disabled for compatibility reasons. Edit: Curiously, it worked earlier in my game, but now even a 100% knockdown chance behaves more like a 1% chance. Edited November 28, 2023 by ShenGo
mrkarl Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 I noticed the Trauma debuff after losing in battle, which is great! Is there anyway to adjust those to those trauma debuffs up? They seem a little light on the punishment to me. I'd like there to be a real problem stemming from getting beating in battle.
Dovakeks Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Does anyone of you also use Smooth Camera + TDM + Defeat ? When Defeat uses a animation, I can't move the camera. If a other mod uses an animation I can change the camera without problem. I also had Yamete before that, the problem with the camera didn't exist either. So I'm taking it, the problem lays with Defeat. Do I have to change anything, or does someone have a solution ?
mattorenzi Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Hello, i have an issue I've tried using this mod, downloaded all the requirements it needs to work, and install this mod through MCM in-game. After it tells me to close the menu and wait, I've left my pc alone for ~30 mins or so, but the mod wasn't installed yet. Tried it different times, using new save files every time, but it doesn't work at all. Is something wrong with my modlist, like wrong priority or conflicting mods? I don't really know https://imgur.com/a/9yBNyo2 I've already tried asking on the skyrimmods subreddit, but unfortunately i couldn't fix the problem; Any help is appreciated.
Anon-user Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 I've been running into some problems lately that I'm not sure how to fix. The mod is loaded and everything is fine on startup, but when I go into the menus to try and open the submenus for Enabling or Disabling creatures, or the Sexlab Scenes in the animations settings tab, nothing opens up at all. I'm using 1.5, but I'm playing on old path 1.5.97. If anyone can help figure out what's happening here, i'd appreciate it .

I would suggest to check your load order or install FNIS creature pack because those were what I did before the menu works.

Hey pal, I have the same issue, to me it seems the 1.50 didn't link to the Baka Motion Pack or SLAL that's why it's skipped. I think he put both 1.45 and 1.50 there for a reason, my load order is 1.45 => 1.5, try to change their name so they would not overwrite each other. The 1.5 fixed some issues (as noted) but also breaks the mod, try to install both 1.45 and 1.5 seem to fixed the not working issue for me. 1
bafd666 Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Im having a strange issue, my PC cant get into scenes with some creatures but my followers can. I was trying to test some giant animations, and i noticed defeat didnt let me surrender to them, which raised a red flag, i then proceded to be defeated and after an awful long while of waiting for any animation to show, my follower was the one to get the animations. I saw that and started fiddling with my MCM settings (mainly anim tags), however nothing seems to work so my PC can get scenes, even though i know they are working because followers participate in the animations. So far i've encountered this with giants and mammoths, draugr and humans have worked as intended so far. Anyone has any idea wtf is going on?

Sadly, there are only 3 animations, wish they made more. 1

lihua QAQ Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 When I use defeat and choose the Essential - On bleedout option instead of Wound, even if my health drops to zero, my character does not trigger defeat surrender and also cannot die. If I use the hotkey I can trigger surrender, but the Essential - On bleedout option does not trigger it. Is there any solution for this?

I have it set to disabled in the config but helmets keep getting removed Also what does grapple chance when wearing skimpy armor mean? Do enemies spontaneously start a struggle sequence mid combat? Try relinking first before looking into anything about performance. My experience with multiple key binds was with the surrender key (K) being used by other mods and not working properly in Defeat. Re-linking to symbols keys or the keypad keys worked for me. That didn't work. Seems that features is just broken. It worked on the original Defeat mod though.
