The thing is I only used RSE Framework, RSE CSA, and RSE abduction addon. I'm just going to avoid using the mod altogether. It's annoying how much of a pain in the ass AAF is compared to Sexlab framework, hopefully someday it'll reach the stability of that.

Yes indeed. It will break most games, plus it is not supported any longer.

Good evening, lovelies.

 

I apologise for being late on releasing the next release, but I've added quite a lot.  Also, with the custom soundtrack items, I need to ensure I properly secure their rights as the owner of the music.  But I am so thankful and amazed that this was offered.  I have hours of music that will be added as needed.

 

Several have asked for more clues on the locations of books and such. I am adding "The Book of Shadows" to the MCM so you can reveal more clues to assist.  I would rather not post clues as spoilers, because someone who doesn't want to know, may inadvertently read it and it would ruin it for them until they truly get stuck.  So these will be available as a Message from the Book of Shadows.  I am setting a limit to clues you can reveal.  I am adding this to the next release.

 

I've had to retool a few things because @Invictusblade added post partum, so I am implementing that into the grief system.  So I will be checking for that effect, as well as several others from other mods, such as the SA_Slut issue.  Also, I am redoing some of the messages to ensure they don't pop up when not needed, such as Shaun related messages.

 

Now, I will be completely honest, I am going places with the engine I'm not sure it can handle.  I am creating new "powers" that will need testing to ensure they work as expected.  The "Splinters" perk is very complex.  So its best if I do the testing first, because I would rather not release rubbish code. 

 

If all goes well today (Saturday) I shall release this evening.  And it will then reveal the true aims of the mod.

 

Thank you so much for your support and patience.  Being a coder for so many years, I simply cannot in good conscience release code I am not sure of.

I loved the idea of the RSE mods.  I did, but you are so right, they just cause problems because the author is not updating. I decided not to consider them, as much as I would like to.

 

They had a great idea, but it kinda died.

Well, Gabryal is now awake., I've been trying to keep him suppressed, but now, its too late.

 

We are going to Far Harbor now, with Beast. I know I wanted to release tonight, but tomorrow friends.

 

I need it to be bug free, or I'll go mad.  

 

But I can say, tomorrow I have new content for you.  I actually have about six months of new content ready.

 

I'm not giving up on this, but I do want to integrate with the mods I mentioned.  If they mod authors are expanding, I try to keep up.  I do have a day job. (That is rubbish now). Be that as it may, I have major additions coming.

 

Nexus Users are so cute. 
Them: So what does your mod actually do?  

Me: Sanity framework?  You go insane?
Them: So, what does that mean?
Me: ...
Me: You go insane? I'm really not sure I can explain it better than that? 

 

You will go insane and there is a "Point of no Return".   
Them: "But Can you give me MCM options to not go insane?"
Me: No.

Them: Why?
Me: I said no.  Don't install my mod.  Its really just that simple ❤️

*Laughs* That's a funny dialogue you recapped, Sthan. You're right, going insane is its own reward, haha. My character is now way over  negative 500 insanity with your mod, haha. I hope she never gets better, haha. (Actually I stopped checking around -580, so it could be much lower now.)

I am also porting Sanity Framework to Skyrim.  But that's a side project. I can recycle most of my code in that side. But, it seems more apropos to fix it in FO4 first.

If you are killing people before their aggression is higher than yours, its make you insane, because it registers that as Killing an Innocent.  (In the game terms) I can dial that back.  But you are very naughty, I'm thinking! :)

*Laughs* There's no need to dial it back. It seems perfect to me. She loses around 2% insanity every time she loses a battle or participates in prostitution.

 

Post script: She wears no armor whatsoever and has no resistance perks yet, so she loses battles fairly easily even though she is well over 100th level.

 

Post post script: I estimate that just the Nuka Ride questline itself is enough for losing more than 100 sanity points, and she finished that questline long ago :)

Okay :) haha, this is the feedback I needed. I know on my test PC I do terrible things, I think I'm more terrible than GLaDOS from Portal. That's a clue to be honest.  I approach all my decisions with, "What would GLaDOS do?"  Well she'd be terrible and test them :)  

 

Thank you test subject, war hero, veteran, or public servant!  I respect your experience.  I like your style; hustle could use some work.  If you don't have tumors, well I've taken care of that if you sat on a folding chair in the lobby.  (I'll burn your house down with the lemons!)

Soooo, if I go to, say, the Corvega Factory and if I manage to stealth kill all the raiders in there I'll go mad because they register as innocents in the mod? That's insane...

Realistically any type of murder, even of people you think deserve death, makes you more and more insane. It separates you from humanity and compassion. At some point you'll realize that what you thought was justice actually was harmful to the world, and all the pain you've brought will break your heart.

I still use all of Flashy's RSE mods except for Brothels so pretty much the same stuff you're using.  I let AAF Violate handle combat defeat over RSE's combat system because it supports 3 and 4 somes which RSE only does one on one animations for it's combat defeat system. 

 

I used to run MCG, but it overlapped certain areas with two other mods so I took it out.

Hi there.  Did you check the MCM?  It should have  Clues tab with all the locations.

Also, did you manually install the mod?  

 

Type "Help SD_MainFramework 0" in the console to ensure it is running.

I do like RSE.  I removed them because they were causing some conflicts that I've since reconciled.  I do like the Abduction aspect for sure :)
