We can't cry 24/7, but sometimes it helps. If you add crying, perhaps it can be just briefly in certain situations? Spoiler The more depressed you are, the more it rains. So, are you crying or are you making the world cry by making it rain and feel your pain? 1

I love the stories each of you tells me. It gives me more ideas, and we build this together. I just proposed an idea. Now we make it better together. I need about two weeks to: -- Write new books and finish the Alex ruse. I mean, quest. -- I want to expand Rabbit Hole to a new room, but this CK is giving me grief. -- I am converting my friend's original music to CK, so I'll need to create a proper BSA to reduce download size. -- Working with certain individuals to do some voice over for the splinters. So, I need time on this, as this will be a much larger endeavor. But I want this. -- The Splinters. Here I struggle. Their powers should supersede certain mods in certain instances. For instance, I need to shut down all surrender options for Sthan, because she will never surrender. The sanity framework is inherently surrendering to who you really are. In that moment. It clearly scares certain players to lose control. I am so happy you all support this mod. My responses are timed with the real world. Ugh, I can't tell you how complicated my life has become in the last year with all the weirdness happening. As always, I'm not leaving ever. I want to build something different with this mod. And now I will expand beyond the game. Stories, hints clues, may now require you to do a bit of research. Did you really think I would make it that simple? ❤️ P.s. When I say I won't leave ever, I mean I will port this to any game that I can. Skyrim is next. And Fallout 5 will always be a focus. I've done a few entire playthroughs of Fallout 4 never equipping a weapon at all. Part of how I could do that would be to "surrender" to people and then, when they turn their back to me, snapped their necks. I've had playthroughs in which I've killed countless hundreds of NPCs using that technique. I mention it because it's actually possible to surrender in combat and still be a ruthless killer who isn't, in her heart, surrendering at all. The surrender itself is a form of attack. In addition, when necks can't be snapped (such as against super mutants) the technique is, after surrendering and when the enemies are all grouped around her in their imagined victory over my character, to use pick pocket to plant live grenades and blow everybody up. Even this play through in which I do use weapons (but not armor, never armor) I have killed dozens, maybe hundreds of people with either neck snapping or planted grenades. My character rarely voluntarily surrenders this playthrough because she uses weapons, but she does get defeated and automatically surrendered frequently. But she always, always wins. Those who capture her always die. post script: Perhaps the Black Widow perk could be what lets the character distinguish between surrender as defeat and surrender as an attack. I consider the black widow perk an important perk to have for role playing purposes. It's also part of what I like about the Combat Surrender mod (or maybe the Raider Pet mod, I forgot which). If you get captured and escape, it automatically gives you the Black Widow perk. In either case "escape" generally means killing the boss and getting your stuff back which makes the surrender itself a form of trial by blood. post post script: Also part of what I really love about CSA is it takes all your stuff (until you can win it back), so you have to figure out a way to kill a whole dungeon of either raiders, gunners or super mutants starting with nothing. No stimpacks, no weapons, nothing but tattered rags and a few bobby pins. You have to use pick pocketing and neck snapping to equip yourself and kill everyone. Honestly I think surrender (voluntary or forced) can be great fun and very ruthless post post post script: This said, for the reasons I describe above, it would be reasonable to give very heavy insanity penalty to surrender of any type as it forces you into a situation where you must kill, kill, kill, kill ruthlessly [I suppose that is mostly why my character is currently negative 762.43 sanity] p.p.p.p.s. noticed when I checked for the above post that my sanity changed from around -900 to only -762. I suspect it's because I recently installed a mod which has been constantly drugging my character. I didn't check the mechanism, but it seems like maybe so much being drugged has been reducing her insanity tremendously. That, or something else has been making her less insane. Just a question how alignement is modified ? Is it some sort of wrath ? Is it as simple as uninstalling the old version with vortex and installing the new one? Or is there something I have to do to make sure stuff syncs up or whatever? Regardless, this is a really cool mod and I love how you're doing it so far. Super hyped to try out the new functionality, even if I got to wait for my next new playthrough to do so. Glad you are enjoying it. No you shouldn't have to do anything with the newest update. The update process only runs when I make fundamental changes to script properties. So everything should function properly. But the quick check to make sure it is running properly, is console->sqv "SD_MainFramework" That will show that it is running. And ensure that the "PlayerRef" var at the very bottom of the output is not set to 'None' Its an odd bug from the CK I think I've conquered. ❤️ 1

The Grief and Depression should be set to 0 on a new play through now. I accounted for in another way, since you will be in Sanctuary and the Vault for the first bit, so I didn't want it to blow that up. Alignment is being calculated by certain events, as well as the "Tracked Stats" (Data Tab -> Stats -> Crime in the PipBoy) I'm calculating "Murder and Assaults" a bit differently than the game because I'm measuring the Aggression of the person you killed. If they aren't aggressive towards you, you murdered them. I'm using Affinity Events and tracking certain types of quests that will make you evil or good. Alignment will be released with its perks and debuffs in the next release. I had to test that one quite a bit, otherwise, everyone would be evil 3 hours into the game ❤️ 1

I will be at their Washington DC gig in June and I will be sure to take photos and film! They have already provided 4 hours of their music to incorporate in the mod, so I am very pleased Just thought I would share before I was off for the night. Coding all day tomoz. Deffo looking at a release next weekend with new content and music. Planned release: -- Alignment (Might wanna start a new game because you are all so naughty) -- 2 more splinters will be revealed via Books. -- Rabbit Hole renovations -- Far Harbor Redux (Such a missed opportunity for Lovecraftian crazy, but I got you now.) Please feel free to friend me on FO76. My Username, (shocker) is SthanDust I have a private world set up mostly for camp building and events. Free camp building, no ammo use, unlimited jumping, and its always dreary. If you have Fallout First, you can spin up my world if you like. Build anywhere, and build to the highest limits they allow. It is a lot of fun in that respect. Plus I am trying to find lore bits to add to my mod, since FO76 happens before FO4 (as you may have noticed Cheers ❤️

I like her too, Silence with Delerium is really great, there were a great remix in nightclub when I was young ? Placebo too, "protège moi" is one of my favorite.

And one last thing about grief, I've noticed it goes down with sex, when you'll work on hardship integration it would make more sense in my mind if it makes it goes up ( maybe you've already planned that). ? Grief goes down with a stretch of no conflict or going places that make you grieve, like Sanctuary. Sanctuary will spike Grief, also equipping certain items. I want Sanity Framework to set the stage for FO5. Because, I'm done with Fetch Quests and more importantly with Preston quest. Clearly Bethsoft, has no idea how to do FO5. Other than some Todd Howard rubbish. Like Skyrim in Space (Starfield). It's going to be rubbish, we know this. FO4 and FO76 share the same basic engine. It's a beautiful engine. However, rubbish stories. We're going to change that, yeah? ❤️
