AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

In Nuka World, about 95% of NPCs are female. Is it just me or is it intended?
I use the Gender Ratios mod, which allows you to override the gender of NPCs. In Nuka World, it does not work. I can assume that the gender is set manually by JB. or some other mod overrides it. Has anyone encountered something similar? Please advise.

I think that's just vanilla Nuka World ratios.

Does this require Address library? but MO2 is saying the DLL is outdated and there isnt an update for it

I think this happens when a different mod is for the wrong game version. If disabling mods doesn't fix it, try re-installing the AIO version of Address Library.

There are mods that can add some more gameplay or challenge to NR that actually work, and I've tried recommending them in the thread.

Is there a list of mods you recommend somewhere? Please tell me.

I don't think so, because the vanilla values can be overridden by the Gender Ratios mod. And it doesn't work.

Are most of your NPCs women too? I want to figure out if it's just me or not.

Try load it after Nuka Ride.

Thanks for the links to the mods. I'll check them out.

Most of the raider gang NPCs are female, yeah. I never really gave it much thought.

This looks very strange, it hurts the eyes. It's surprising that you haven't thought about it.
I think the opposite ratio is logical. In a post-apocalyptic world, where a woman is devalued to a piece of meat, lowered to slaves, she cannot be in the majority. IMHO.

So, playing through on the Nora route, up to Fly me to the Moon on a non-Bitch playthrough (Flipped a coin at the choice, blame the currency!). Is the ditzy airhead dialogue hard coded into choices throughout or is only populated via stats, either hidden or not? Because I swear on reloads after crashes I've seen different choices in some places. But that could just be me hallucinating as I'm running an actual fever.

Right now, I only remember that if you wear the complete “Dancer Outfit” set, the fight against Doberman on the Moon of Steel is easier. Many incorrect answers do not appear on the screen.

But by airhead dialogue, I think you mean the military recruitment filming. And I'm sure I haven't put any conditions on the options.

I didn't touch the NPC genders.

If you click on any of those NPCs + Better Console installed, you can see which mod might be editing them.

I did edit some NPCs in Nuka World, but in things like packages, not appearances.

Hello all im very new to all this so forgive me. During the sex some of the sex scenes my character seems to be misaligned with the male. sometimes on the other side of a couch or even not moving at all. any ideas?

Reinstall High Heel System and select compatibility with AAF.

well one of the gangs is 100% female (with exception of Savoy and slaves) with Female leader in Nisha, one is 50/50 with female leader in Mags (no one takes William seriously outside of his sniper ability) and the last one is 50/50 with Mason as leader so 66% (or 50/50 if you count William as the lore might favor him more) female in both leaders and gang members.

Edit:  My money is on Nisha and the Disciples if they went to war with one of the others - they are by far the most blood thirsty of the gangs.

I used the "Better Console" and got the following results:

From the GG's apartment to the Main Boss's apartment I met 36 NPCs, of which «lastBaseChange»:

2 - Nuka Ride.esp (Women)

21 - Nuka Ride World Patch.esp (Women)

9 - DLCNukaWorld.esm (Women)

4 - DLCNukaWorld.esm (Men)

Only raiders entered and I didn't take into account 2 men at the GG's apartment.

Total 32 women against 4 men!!!

Am I the only one who noticed this? It's not serious.

Don't you think it's a bit of a bummer, since the main character has to fight her way up through a pack of wolves? Wait, this is a scary post-apocalyptic world.

What's the point of the "Black Male Raiders" mod?

I think this is more about you and your eccentricities than most peoples.  What you should have noticed is many of the NPCs are the same exact base NPC in Nuka World (each "faction" has like 3-4 base NPCs), they are identical.  But you got your answer from JB already, and it seems that Izzy's patch is editing the NPCs but I can tell you it's not gender because more or less what your saying is the case without his patch.  Which means you need to call up Bethesda and have a chat with them or talk to the Gender Ratio's modder, it might simply be that Bethesda didn't put these base NPCs on a leveled list for face/gender randomization.

I have never looked at what they are doing for that, but you might be able to use RobCo Patcher to patch it into the leveled lists that Gender Ratio is modifying, but your kind of on your own.

By the way, here is how others have rationalized it, and it appears to be intentional:

Here is the Gemini via Google AI Overview for you:

Spoiler
The Nuka-World raider gang known as the Disciples has a predominantly female membership, though not exclusively so. Fallout Wiki says that while many Disciples are women, male raiders like Savoy also exist within their ranks. There's no single, definitive explanation for this gender imbalance, but theories within the Fallout universe suggest it could be due to the leader's background, or that a female-led gang might attract more women and deter unwanted male behavior. [1, 2, 3]

Here's a breakdown of the theories: [1]
  • Leader's influence: The current leader, Nisha, might have a history or personal reasons for a more female-dominated group, potentially stemming from her own upbringing.
  • Female leadership and safety: A female-led gang might naturally attract more female members and potentially create a safer environment by reducing the likelihood of sexual assault, a concern in the post-apocalyptic world.
  • Deliberate change: Nisha's rise to power could have involved a conscious effort to shift the gang's dynamic away from the previous male-dominated structure.
Despite the majority being female, the Disciples are not entirely without male members, with Savoy being a prominent example. Fallout Wiki notes that their members are known for their brutality, preferring knives for close-quarters combat and slow, painful kills. They are also recognizable by their face-covering masks. I see this as normal for you, as well as for most people, otherwise this moment would have been fixed long ago. To complete the picture, all that remains is to assign female gender to all brothers. It will be completely normal.

What is the point of writing the developer of Gender Ratios if their mod is overridden by another mod? In the Commonwealth it works fine. But, for example, if you connect Commonwealth Slavers with a patch for raiders and shooters, Gender Ratios stops working.

It's more or less what @Mimirue17 said.

I came up with a plot twist.

To the surprise of the many inhabitants of the Nuka World, the amusement park began to transform before their eyes. With strong-willed decisions, Big Boss cleared the park of garbage and dirt, built a majestic fountain, scrubbed the paving slabs and facades of the houses until they shined. Spitting and swearing were banned on the streets.

The amusement park became a stronghold, an oasis of purity and justice in a ruthless, dirty world. Betraying hope for the future. It is not surprising that all the women of the world flocked to such a place.

But one fine day, everything turned into a collapse. Since all the women simultaneously began their menstrual cycle, and all the mutants of the world flocked to the Nuka World.

And only our heroine can resist them.

You crashed in f4ee, which is LooksMenu.  And it looks like LooksMenu called by a Papyrus script because I see runtime type information for the PapyrusVM, and as JB mentioned AAF_API and another mention of Overlays.  Which Overlays.Add/Remove/etc is going to be a native call into f4ee.dll.  And NAF has a timer task at scene end to apply overlays.

My assumption the problem is in LooksMenu (wrong version).  With NAF Bridge you have to use exactly LooksMenu 1.6.20, if your not then that's could be the cause of the crash and I believe they are hooking Overlays.Remove to apply nopse's f4ee-patched fix.

Edit:

By the way, through the AAF API you can apply an overlay that is removed after N seconds.  Nuka Ride makes use of this with the butt slaps on the Nora route.  There is a timer task created in Papyrus that will called Overlays.Remove.  I know about it because it wasn't working with NR and provided a fix to Panda for NAF Bridge.

@dav42 thanks for you answer but I have the version of lokksmenu (see picture). Maybe the load order in not good but until the new 6.9.1, all was works

It's not overridden, it is by design from Bethesda.  Clearly you didn't read anything.

I don't know what your issue is, your going to have to figure it out on your own, check the required/recommended mod list and remove things.  All I can tell you is your crashing in LooksMenu, and it's looks that AAF_API is in the mix along with references to Overlays, and considering LooksMenu handles either morphs or overlays it's one of those two things.

Yeah, this is new and it happens to me too. If you reload a previous save (I did this to try to reproduce it), it didn't happen again. I forgot about it until you mentioned it again.

thanks for your answer, but I had so much trouble installing AAF, which didn't work (probably because of me), that I discovered NAF, which works like a charm. But NAF and its software suite NAF Bridge and Naficator require installation WITHOUT AAF. So I didn't download AAF... And that's what I don't understand, because before NR 6.9.1b and the “dolled-up-fizztop” quest, everything worked perfectly.

So, therefore, coul'd you give me the console command to pass this step or this stage ?

Thanks for your patience :)

That information was in that post before I edited it, specifically:

but I can tell you it's not gender because more or less what your saying is the case without his patch.  Which means you need to call up Bethesda and have a chat with them or talk to the Gender Ratio's modder

Which you reply was "why would I talk to Gender Ratio's modder?".  Which the answer to that is in what I quoted above, which the logic here is if no one has modified it then it means the Gender Ratio mod doesn't work for Nuka World Raiders.  The information I added is merely more speculation on the rationale of why (because Bethesda has never said why), and it re-enforces this is a vanilla game issue.
