So if I follow,  if I was using beggar whore, the 2.1 edition would be ideal?

 

Regardless of edition?  Once the quests are 100 % complete the first time through,  would It break anything to then play the nuka world dlc (so do the gauntlet, join a gang?) (Just clarifying, I kind of read the mod description to suggest : "no gauntlet until after NR quests are done /all in repeatable status")

The robot will never take you to the farm.  You go with the overboss.  Meet him at your apartment.

Don't really know what went so horribly wrong with 3.2.3. I updated the mod after removing all of the previous stuff and even started a new game, yet things seem to be broken - not completely (like they were after I updated from 3.2.1 on an existing save), yet fairly critical. Out of the things that caught my eye immediately:

- I can probably go on, yet it's clear that a lot of properties and aliases are not either missing or null pointers. And yep - for instance, music didn't start on the quest + the quest itself didn't start + "small" stuff doesn't work (like the awkward posture post-getting the audition outfit).

 

It's especially strange since it's a new game specifically started to test 3.2.3. I can of course go to the scripts and try fixing by hand, yet first - there are just too many (the thing above is an example) and second - I figured it's worth to point that out anyways.

I haven't used this property in a couple of versions. I just looked at it and Visiting Overboss no longer uses Real Handcuffs functions since, a while ago, I deleted it from the script and properties.

 

 

Everything is in order rom here. Dunno. Didn't you tell me that you use a modified version of my mod?

Since version 3.0 you can only start that mission after rescuing Apollo.

 

In the Tentacus version you can still do the PoleFlag or Apollo missions in any order.

Nice! However, that dialogue you say about Mason and you being the Overboss shouldn't be there. I have edited all those dialogues. You may have a plugin that edits Nuka World? Like Alternative Start and things like that. I think if my mod has higher priority you could fix it.

Anyone goes well with Beggar Whore, just the Tentacus version has a style very similar to Beggar Whore and if you like that mod you might like his version more.

 

As for your other question, I think there will still be problems if you use Nuka Ride and then want to play the DLC as Overboss. I remember a user who reported that side missions (from Nuka World DLC) were self-completing as soon as they were assigned. So I don't recommend using Nuka Ride if you are going to play Nuka World.

I wondered about that. Just for grins, I explored Nuka World and found that one of the missions started but didn't autocomplete (the one with the crazy ghoul performer). Also, I noticed some, but not all the roaming NR Raider gangs (e.g. Pack Waster) were hostile, but some remained non-hostile.

EDIT: I did the exploration while in the Nuka Ride Porn Studio "mode".

Yes, I have just finished the Apollo mission, i get given the new cloths, am told by Mr Corsican to goto Mason and then nothing, no quest and no dialogue, I tried starting it via and console and it didnt start.

I would expect that ....

Now it's not because ... I have a stomach ... yet.
But ... it becomes problematic (for some scenes) ...

figured it out. the answer is on page 10. basically talk to cheron. go to nuka land. talk to other robot. go back. do the robots job. turn around go back to nuka land again. talk to shank. not the clearest but i guess youd stumble into it eventually.

Everything looks good.

If Mason doesn't speak to you it may be due to interference from another mod, I don't know. There are so many variants. From exceeding plugin limits, non-current version of Fallout, other story mods or the like interfering.

Try to advance manually.

I think the mistake that some are making is doing what they do with other questy type NPC's, that is running up and clicking on them. Your mod seems to activate dialogue by proximity a times. That is to say that sometimes an NPC starts his dialogue when you run over and put your crosshairs on them without clicking. I made that mistake with Shank the first time i spoke to him. If the mod isnt doing this intentionally, i suspect script lag.

I have a mod that lets me skip the prologue but not a alternate start mod that satrts you somewhere other than vault 101. I'm not really that bothered, all 3 of the gang leaders has the dialogue but once you get through it Nuka Ride continues on as normal so I can just ignore it.

One question though, I really like that if you wear the bimbo collar you get the special running animation, was just wondering is there any equipment you can put on to have the timid animation you have when you first wear the audition outfit?

When _NukaRide_Movies is at 100, the script starts _NukaRide_TheOverboss

 

The only reason it couldn't start is because the aliases were not filled for some strange reason

Use the command "caa AnimArchetypexxx" to change the posture of your character, where "xxx" is replaced with one of the commands listed below.

 

Confident
Depressed
Elderly
FastWalk
Friendly
Irritated
Nervous (this is the one that I use during the audition and during the drug delivery)
Player (this is the one you use by default)
Scared
Shocked

 

 

 

Now if you want an item, you can use esp explorer and look for the "Junkie Collar" inside Nuka Ride. It does a similar function to the Bimbo Collar, but with the nervous pose.

Not necessarily a question for JB, but has anyone tested Nuka World Reborn yet after playing Nuka Ride?  This mod could be an option for more time in Nuka World if the Main DLC questline is a no-go.

Upon reinstalling the mod, when the mod options come up in vortex, you have options for CBBE and FG but the descriptions for both are the same (this is the first option that you have to pick one of three choices).    This is a minor issue as I think you cut and paste the same description (the words that go below the image on the right of the options window) which shouldn't trick up too many people.

Yes, but - nope, this time around I was doing a test so of course I installed it flat-on, no modifications. Then.. I must be seeing things:

To recap:

 

  • Music doesn't work (it's just an example, some other stuff also doesn't)
  • Some properties fail to be bound (as seen in the log)
  • The script - as installed, misses (at least some of) those properties indeed (as seen via mismatch script <> ESP)

I probably can check some other stuff, but it seems odd to me, maybe some of the source code files / compiled files in the BA2 got wrongly packed (or are from old versions)?
