This happened three times in a row, and likely would've continued had I not quit the game.   I re-installed Nuka Ride to make sure that one of my local patches didn't override something it shouldn't have, and tried again.  Same result.  Charon repeats the force greet after the scene plays out.  This time, after running into the same glitch, I chose to pay instead.  That worked, and I'm back in Nuka World. 

 

So, like I said.  Not sure if that's a bug or something with my game specifically.  But I thought I'd report it just in case. 

Not just you... I had exactly the same thing happen (version 3.2.3).   I wanted to check out Sim Settlements 2 and decided to kick  it off with a Nuka Ride run.  Anyway, one other issue... the second visit to the overboss would not kick off.  I got all the items from Music but the secondary quest to pick up "party goods" never appeared.  Oh, I should also mention the Nuka Police hat did not appear in the bodyslide files.  The rest of the uniform did and fit perfect but the hat/wig was screwed up,

Oh, I hadn't tried that combination.

 

I've looked it and added a new condition. Do you have a save from that moment to test it?

 

 

 

PS: This version has the spellings correction from Tentacus and Saya.

There is no bodyslide for the wig and the police hat. It shouldn't have since that is independent from FG and CBBE. Can I see a picture of how your character looks with the hat?

 

 

Regarding your problem with the Overboss, write:

And show me what you get.

At the moment you must delete them manually. And it doesn't affect your game or anything.

Hat pic per your request.  I have no clue what happened here.   I don't recall this in previous versions... could very well be a "just me " issue.  Oh, now that I think about it I did try removing the protected clothing xml as suggested upthread.  Then I put it back as having her naked as a dom didn't really work.  That may have screwed things up.

I found this tutorial for making modded hairstyles work with Vanilla hats a couple of days ago, and the Nuka Cop hat was my reason for wanting to try it.  I haven't gone through the process yet, but maybe this will help?  Don't know what happens with Modded hats, but I have to think it's not too dissimilar...

Luckily I had dropped a save right before talking to him...  I've tested it 5 times in a row.  The .esp you dropped here fixes the problem I mentioned.  I can now get a free ride to Nuka World without the scene repeating.  Thanks for the quick response!

I suspect that the hair you have probably uses a different slot than the cap / wig, which is why both are visible.

The moment they give you the clothes, the script starts the quest. But in yours it is stopped and that means that the aliases have not been filled for some reason.

 

Did you finish the Lucy in the Sky mission? What missions have you already finished after finishing "A new Ride"? Do you have any Nuka Ride missions active?

 

There may have been an unexpected combination of factors.

I see.  That seems likely.  I played with two other characters and never saw anything like that...

Two things to look for:

 

Make sure it is enabled

 

Use the 04.14.7z file.  It was updated early this month.     The positive about getting to play this mod with JB active in the forums is that.......well you get to have some issues fixed right away, but at the same time, he tends to use the most up to date files out there.    That means that new NR versions are likely not compatible with previous setups that worked.

I don't recall starting Lucy in the Sky but obviously I did.  What kicks it off?  I do recall that when Overboss 2 failed to start I went ahead and did Lucy.  After things concluded I went back and tried this again and it still wouldn't start.  Man, I have a real gift for screwing these up.  ?

The thing is, i already done that and it still showed up.

And yes, this mod has quick responses, and i love it! The New Reno Experience, hell i love Music and Charlotte a lot that i love to see art made about them!

That is odd behavior.    Other than re-install, I am not sure why it won't recognize the newer API.

Yep something like that, i know and had Sexual Harassment, great mod, i removed it cause there are dialogs that just don't fit my Avi character, you see, in my head my girl was a prewar hotwife, Nate was a soldier, of course, and she's a MILITARY lawyer, so she had combat training despite being a lawyer, they meet on the army, in short: she's a strong willed girl that fits perfect in the Nuka Ride context to become a Porn Star, she's not affraid of her sexuality she knows that even by prewar standards she is gourgeous, and is willing to take advantage of it or just enjoy it.

Sexual Harassment has a more conservative context, i mean she has to hide who she is...

-i have a sexual picture of yours, do what i want or i'll distribute it...
-Oh yes please don't ill do whatever you want (motivated by shame)

nah! My answer would be... im a porn star, please DO, and for every people that tells me about it i'll be your dominatrix for one night.

That conflict really drives me crazy, there's no answer in the options that fits my girl, either you agree to do what he wants out of fear and shame or you reject, but you can't agree in a dominant or shameless way, can't stand my Avi being submisive, hiding her desires and tastes in a postwar world if she didn't do it in the prewar one, hell, not even in her marriage! she is after all the heroine in the story, not some random scaver.

There's another mod, "problems of survivor", i loved one quest there, where a guy is impersonating a Doctor to get girls, and gives you the choice to reject him, or tell him, "you don't need to do that with me", that's the kind of Avi i want, "i like you, you want me, Im in the mood, the time is right, lets do it" BUT i decide every time except for the forced sex windows of course; again in that mod the rest of the characters, are for a submisive Avi, theres one that you rescue from jail by intimidating a DC guard, just to become his sub, instead of taming him and making him your slave...

I can't find another mod that gives you the chance to decide if you want to be with the harraser/inloved npc, i have a very clear idea of how it should be more "real" with very defined random npc's i mean not really has to be a new specially made npc in a specially assigned location, it should be like random encounters, adding a fresh surprise element, without the player knowing what is gonna happen the next time you walk through a door, just as any rider smacks you, any security guard talks to you, that should trigger a more complex event, at least 7 with men and 7 with girls, where you get a real chance to choose and decide, and they try several and different ways to get you, starting from easy and light harrasment like the one in Nuka Ride, where the raiders desires you, but still they know your only available for the bosses, so all they can do is smack your ass, to the hardcore ones where you're just assaulted by surprise, taken, enslaved, sold, made a raider pet without the need of loosing a battle or giving yourself up, would be nice even if your walking in good neighboard and one of the ghoul guards tells you "you're showing more skin than i have left" and your character replied in automatic something shameless and sexy like: "you know you love it, and so do i", or "i can see whats under that piece of fabric" and she answers with her vanilla voice, "wouldn't you like to know?" you know adapting vanilla speach... 

For starters, the enviorement is important picture this:

You arrive to the 3rd rail... And you notice 7 diferent guys looking at you:

1. Shy guy who is inlove with you but affraid to tell, another Travis? Leads to (good will humping)
2. The most tender guy that you just want to dominate. Leads to (dominatrix)
3. The smooth guy who knows what to do and say to get you just for the night, Leads to (Public Chikan action).
4. The harsh one that is willing to do what ever it takes, and run over whoever i takes, even without your consent, Leads to (Public hardcore and posibly forced sex, or kidnap)
5. The respectfull and forward guy who tells you straight up what he wants. Leads to (Vanilla and posible romance)
6. The Party Clown who thinks he can get you by making you smile. Leads to (One night stand and repeatable sex friend/partner)
7. The Divo, playboy handsome guy, that YOU want to screw and he is the one who need to be convinced. Leads to (Public exhibition, vouyerism and seductive behaviour)

And something like that for the girls, so... at least 14 characters, in different contexts, situations and enviorements.

A bit complicated... that's wishfull thinking and mental wanking!! LOL

What hair mod are you using? do you know how to check the slots in the esp? you can actually change them to make it work, is easy.

If you have multiple saves, you can try loading a save from when you first open the tattoo shop. Talk to the girl and ask her to visit the Overboss.

 

Probably something happened in a certain order that I did not anticipate. Or maybe the save is affected if you upgraded from one version to another - which would be strange but not impossible.
