yes that is! i do as you asks and now all is good. so nuka world patch was the problem!!!

Agreed. The dog scene during the audition, which I usually don't mind doing, I avoided with Norita simply because of the potential risk of loss. And I didn't really want to avoid it. But it locks out all others after that point. So there's less options to make more caps. Making it more of a 'punishment' than a 'reward' for avoiding such risks.

 

So maybe some kind way to both, get those back after the audition and/or 'special contracted scene', and extra 'reward' for staying such is in order.

Keeping in mind I'm not even smart enough to figure out CK to make my own mods, so I've no clue wtf I'm doing or talking about and am just playing amateur hour mod detective for you lol...

 

When you said it might be trying to use the same functions, is it at all possible that your mod is trying to do something to background characters or something, like, scanning them in any way or checking if they have anything added - and it's somehow impacting the people speaking? I know your mod doesn't do the part where it adds anything to NPCs but could it be scanning to see if there is something added?  Maybe not delaying the script or anything but maybe overriding in that moment because of the check of background characters that are nearby?  Or other speakers when in groups of 3 or more?

 

Like...okay here is what I noticed.

 

I don't have HPX enabled either, I installed and I think I only used it once so far, and soooo few mods that don't belong with NR while using this.  With it installed the difference is sooooo subtle that aside from the one jarring Music incident, I kinda forgot through a few quests that I even had it enabled.  The times I did have a jarring effect were:

 

Music, in goodneighbor super jarring with no facial changes during the line, 2 out of 3 tries

PC expression in Date with the Boss was a little more, er, muted, maybe?  But still gave him a look at the "fuck a fish" line which I mostly noticed was more subtle than usual because usually you give a super expressive face when saying that line, it almost had like what I'm dubbing a "botox" effect, but not like the previous one.  Eyebrows and mouth move, but it's just not...correct, but no big deal

 

I'm still working through the game (trying to reload scenes where I see this to check if it's consistently doing it or not) but before bed I got the most obvious one of all

 

During The Special Girls, the scene where you're talking to both Wes and crew, as well as upstairs with the girls, it did what I noticed in Goodneighbor.  Zero facial expressions the first time, second time, or fourth time (3 out of 5)

 

JB also mentioned something about public/crowded spaces and it can't be coincidence that the most jarring scenes for me are all in groups/public 

 

I haven't noticed that it gets "worse" over time, but I think what I'm noticing over time is you spend more time in group settings as the story progresses, and as time goes on there are more facial expressions happening in the scenes which may be giving that impression, but I definitely will be happy to check this by spending a ton of time doing training and then see what happens if you're trying to isolate a part of the mod 🖤

 

But with all that said, I'm wondering if the crowd itself is telling part of the story of what's happening with the conflict?  Probably not but I'd feel bad if it was and I didn't mention it XD

Big fan of your work, already played through commonwealth slavers twice, and using multiple different mods you've created in my separate playthroughs.

 

decided i wanted to play nuka ride, starting from a clean slate (just aaf and its requirements) i downloaded all the prerequisite mods for this one, as well as the recommended mods, nothing else. No conflicts, everything seems to be working all right... except captive tattoos. captive tattoos does not for the life of me seem to be working. It doesn't show up in the looks menu or nothing. tattoo's are mentioned in the story, but not applied to pc.  

 

I had it working in commonwealth slavers, as well as in a separate profile for sexual harassment. Not sure what is causing this but if anyone else is having this issue that would be a great help because I've been pulling my hair out trying to get this to work for the past 3 hours lol.

Doing a Norita run but Doctor Hank never appears in Seven bar, anyone know what the ID is?

 

Edit: Figured that out, but can't get the dialogue for the braces to work.

@JB., there's something wrong with the filming with Kells.

Route: Norita -> non-virgin

1) I'm not sure if it's a bug, but the Corsican has no choice with degrading scenes. He doesn't have that line of dialog:"Ugh... I could do some of the degrading stuff the Overboss likes. I-if you want me to."

2) It's definitely a bug now. Choosing the dialog with Kells:"After my meeting with the Overboss... I learned a thing or two", starts normal animation on the bike. Animation starts immediately, no choice of RimJob / FaceFuck.

I really dunno. ATM I'm working on Barbarous Continent and don't have time to test that.  All I did was remove the edit I made a long time ago, which I forgot to do back then. LOL

I very, very occasionally run into this problem on a new playthrough (out of 50 new characters one or two may have this) and usually it's something simple to fix, always something on my end, but can take a while to get it (usually I just start a new game and it magically fixes itself but I'm not sure how much time you want to invest in restarting your game for the tattoos to show vs play around with things)

 

If you're 100% sure everything is in the correct load order, and nothing left over from CS that you accidentally installed for this, already tinkered with LO and everything:

 

I'd also ask if you have the correct bodyslide (both CBBE and FG are available for this mod so make sure you have the correct one)

Have you tried just reinstalling CT again entirely?  Or disable and enabling it?  I also find that sometimes just opening the file location in the explorer on MO2 (or the Vortex equivalent might help) and opening the files up makes mods work properly, including this one.  I can't begin to tell you how, or why...I'm not really a techy kind of person, I learned it by accident and for all I know it's a coincidence but damn if it doesn't help me 90% of the time (I'd love for this to be explained by someone to me, so I can at least understand how this magic works, but give it a try)

 

If, for whatever reason (such as seeing it in the AAF Official Guide) you use UAP, disable it.  I didn't like it for CS, I won't tolerate using it in NR, and I get nightmare crashes and makeup/tattoo issues even without overhaul mods with it.  I love the idea of it, but it works well only in very isolated instances for me.  

 

I'd start with those tricks first til someone good at this can help, but it definitely can happen, even though rarely

I noticed this as well and this is the case in both routes. 

 

Non-Virgin puts you on the bike and virgin puts you at the regular blowjob, no options on either route for the other two options with Kells 

 

I'm not sure if it's a bug or if it was intentionally left this way for the time being until more scenes, but is present in both routes

@Slorm  must load a save before interacting with the dildo-radio, that's all. Easy fix. Otherwise, that weird script that turns it into a radio stays in the save.

 

Buah, the dildo-radio sounds like a funny thing worthy of turning it into a quest.

Double check that Looksmenu is the correct version that corresponds to your version of the game. This is the usual error I usually see in some users. They have the NG version but the Looksmenu is Old gen, or vice versa.

Yeah, got that one installed too. Unlike that time when I was testing it.

 

I also use my face gen file, this is something I did not have when I seemed to detect the bug. All the characters in my mod have generated faces now.

 

So far I still see everything correct. I'm not very skilled in this area but I want to believe that having made the face gen files is helping.

I noticed a little problem with the part when trying to cook some nuka-rush into some cupcakes. The stove is inaccessible, as Nisha's base needs a bit of cleanup. That 'blood trough' is blocking the stove usage.

Well, I don't know if this picture works. Because LL has not been working for me uploading pictures for a while now. But hopefully it's just me.

Anyway, the stove is placed in the display case next to the cooler, with the blood trough decoration right in front of it. When I try to activate the stove, it just acts like a 'you can't reach this' error, and kicks out before I can make anything.

You have world space overwriting each other? cuz that's not what mine looked and that looks like a weapon case over the stove.

 

I don't have the world patch FYI just the CWSS one

Another mod is putting that in there. I have cleaned it up completely. Check it out.

You need to give more priority to my mod or Izzy's patch. And don't use PRP, if you are using it.

Ran into an issue with "The Rescue".  version 6.9.0i.  During the dialog with Keyshawn the couch appears and then disappears.  Then I get the message Nuka Warning Failed to play AAF scene.  It then moves on to the snuff scene.

Hmm, i don't have X-Cell installed yet. Could worth testing without it too.

I'm curious about the Gage tattoo set.  I really like the design around the nipples but l can't find it as a stand alone.  Is that a custom design of yours?

HPX only do stuff to NPCs if they have at least one headpart applied to them in script, otherwise, it will ignore them. PC is completely excluded too. 
I can concert with laran to check if we are hooking to same functions but i need some kind of confirmation first.

WHY is X-Cell the conflict?!  Because I just loaded another character with your mod and X-Cell and started 'Made In Heaven' (where that character happened to be) ran through it twice up until the lab, reloaded twice more.  Getting similar results to my previous report.

 

Removed X-Cell but not your mod (I hadn't had X-Cell enabled in that playthrough previously) and voila....emotions appear

 

Something in X-Cell is doing something to one or both of your mods, I have no idea if this is something for you or @JB. to fix, but yeah...not using X-Cell removes the weird uncanny botox effect at least at first glance - I can keep going back and forth with and without it if you'd like 🖤This is only my result with one single scene (and adding and removing mods mid-game) but maybe this can help you replicate what I'm seeing

 

I do want to point out that I have used X-Cell before with NR and not had this particular result so that's why I replied directly to you, maybe X-Cell does something to your mod?

 

Edit: If it helps to replicate I'm doing that specific scene where you talk to Music inside the Admin building.  It's not as obvious as in scenes like Goodneighbor but if you notice her facial expressions are muted during her replies such as when you point out "he could have been a lawyer" and "you inhereted nothing from your father" and she replies, her eyebrows move but not as expressive, and right now testing the couch scene with X-Cell, the comment about the pie when you remark on it, zero expression...I'll have to try without it too

 

Double Edit: (I'm a dumb dummy) When you hear hoofbeats think horses...I did the most obvious thing possible and made sure your mod overrides X-Cell now, redid the whole scene inside the building, now on the couch talking...everything looks fine so far...every little micro expression is normal...I'll try with HPX next also...but...this is wild to see XD  I'm going to try it in the more crowded spaces next and see what the result is but this could honestly just be a LO issue or something?  Maybe try it with X-Cell overriding yours and then vice versa to see the small differences

That's odd. I don't have any other mods that touch Nuka World. And I have no clue that PRP is.

So I don't know what's going on with that.

You need to give my mod a higher priority. It's 26th, and there are 210 mods with higher priority. One of those 210 is the culprit.

 

The only ones that should have higher priority are the Nuka Ride patches.

 

Once you prioritize it properly, you should be able to see it properly.

Hmm, well I'm playing with X-Cell installed and so far so good with the expressions. There is no need to keep testing going back and forth. I'm mostly playing the mod normally because this bug tends to be so random.

 

One of the expressions affected is the closing of the eyes. Sophie does it on a couple of occasions when we confront Solomon inside the cave.

 

The bug causes her to not close her eyes, so I'll load a save over there and see how it goes.

 

(although now I'm rather busy doing the new quest since I finally have time).
