Heh.  I think your patch didn't work because you also use Darker Nights, which from what I recall hasn't updated and can cause the patch to outright not work properly (and have issues with some weathers like fog, weird FPS issues in my case during wind or rain, and snow) when using the two patches including the Synergy mod with it 😶

 

Darker Nights also has a few conflicts with True Storms, if you're not careful about load order, but I can't begin to tell you where they each belong in your load order unfortunately.  I want to say TS had to override DN, 

 

I'd have to go back and check your list again to tell you which ones specifically caught my eye that I remember being a big no-no with AK if you want me to get back to you on those 🖤

 

I definitely agree with the other comment that while playing NR, at least until you get the full experience as intended, make a load order specifically for this mod  Sooooooooo worth the effort, and then after you've played through it, try adding one by one mods that you want to enhance the experience.  Weather mods and armor mods overall won't be used, though if you're trying to avoid radstorms there is a suggestion on the NR main page, since if you choose the Norita/alternate path you'll be at the farm quite a bit and that's where weather matters - otherwise a lot of it is indoor spaces and such.  

 

Pro-tip the best way to add mods is to play through a mod you like, then add *one* mod you really miss the most from your playthrough (for me, Cheat Terminal was my first addition) and start a new game, play all the way through - if any major bugs happen, you can kinda adjust easier and know what the conflict might be and how to fix it - and repeat until you have all the mods you want to use.  Takes a looooong time but once you get it just the way you like it, it feels like winning an achievement trophy XD 🖤

Ran into a few more non voiced dialogues.   On the quest "Cold Beers" when you go to the market to get a cold beer for OB.

 

All of Maddux's lines are not voiced, can not recall if they ever were so this might not be something new.

 

one line by player did not have voice, pictured below (when speaking to Larsen on the way back to seven bar) 

 

last thing - Clint is the only pc that I have seen in the mod that has the brown face, and I honestly can't recall a time when he did not - so again might not be something new.   I will try to dig into it later to see if there is a conflict with something that I can find anyways.

 

Edit:  I will reinstall face gen files and upgrade the voice files to 1.1 and retest this scene

Nuka Ride has completely broken the Nuka World DLC quests. Can't even complete the "All Aboard" starting quest and and even subsequent quest due to modifying the records by Nuka Ride. At least do it like how sim settlements 2 has done it if it's even needed to modify to such extent.

My advice to you?

 

Create a new profile for this game with mod and its prerequisites and theirs.

 

Use SKK or other fast start to start a new game.

 

Choose the Norita route and don't look back.

 

Play vanilla on one of your other profiles. 😁

If anyone does this I have no idea how much work would go into it, and I suspect a TON because you're combining TWO mods at that point, kinda?  But once a player is back at the vault they could have a choice somehow, like similar to the warning at the start of Slavers before you approach Murphy, to start the new quest you make or just follow the mod as is 🤷‍♀️ Some kinda short questline as a slave, maybe because of the age and virginity include it being used to sell Norita to the highest bidder (buying virgins is a current thing people do, which is wild to think about especially with how much money these girls make lol), OB could either rescue or bid on to help her get away from that Lexington mess, but it would preserve the lore for both mods, allow another start with more hardcore features, and the strange people who have issues with falling in love with my Pixel Daddy can finally be like "oh hey, he's like, kinda cool" 😶 I'll die on this hill, man.

🖤he's the first fictional character from any book, movie, game, etc that I've ever done the little "fangirl crush" type thing on, so just remember when shaking your head at people wanting to kill him in the mod, you've done an exceptional job with building your characters.  Their personality developments seem genuine and natural, and from a psychological standpoint you seem to absolutely nail reactions and responses as well as how dynamics function.  It truly feels more like a "real world" than any game or movie I've experienced due to exceptional writing and story creation.  Much like Norita's cooking, playing this you can feel the love, patience, and time put into this 🖤

Because it's so realistic, I'm betting most players feel like they're being scolded by a parent - mistaking concern for anger and such XD

 

I wish I could do this for you. I tried following tutorials to create a mod and failed fantastically! Like, it said "do this" and after looking for "this" for an hour and not finding it, I realized my chances of ever finding "this" were worse than winning a giant lottery.

 

It would be so cool though to build like some alternate routes in JB's beloved version of Nuka World. To give him something to just play and enjoy (or not) would be so cool. Maybe if I win that lottery, I'll buy a team to do this. 🤣🤣🤣

I think I would play just about anything the fans made for this as well just to give it the love it deserves, but if I could make absolutely any changes or add new routes or quests myself, I already know what I'd do first.  Before wanting to try translating it for a friend, I installed CK specifically to see if I could do this - I would make a short one time quest related to the Dunmore Farm where the chickens go missing and you have to search nearby to find them - and when you do they have a new nest and have laid some eggs and there are two more chickens - and you can keep one of the chicks in your apartment garden as a pet with a little cage to lay eggs in if you want XD the amount of time I've spent thinking through a random quest I'll never build and just headcanon it into my game (and consolecommand spawn some new chickens) is unreal XD  I'd also rename the two at the farm to Henrietta and Roopert and then the pet chicken is Fluffernutter after my first house rooster XD  IF I can get a red on black frizzle cochin bantam it'd also be the dream but when I tried to edit chickens I messed up the skeletons soooooo badly 😶 one day....maybe 🖤

 

More than 2 eggs in the laying box with only 2 chickens somehow bothers me more than absolutely anything else in the entire mod and it's such a random silly nitpick so I can't just let this go, poor JB lol I actually like the way the story plays out and the porn studio is actually pretty fun for me personally, but those egg counts...😂

 

Like you, and for me even with tutorials that even small children can follow, my failure is splendid XD I tried to start with something simple, just create the most basic NPC ever, and managed to make them hostile, my second NPC didn't spawn with the clothing and just ran around naked and we won't discuss my recipe debacle - so I'll leave my poultry paradise to the people with these types of skills.  I'm so much better at using mediocre level flattery by pointing out what's not working to those who pour their heart and soul into these 😂

 

Oh, I'd so love to be able to check out your alternate ideas one day!  Maybe we both keep practicing on CK until you can make a quest and I can add a chicken.  Goals 🖤Don't give them up!!  

 

Also "I'll buy a team to do this" 😂I can see you standing in front of a room in one of those tuxedo print t-shirts with dead silence and just keyboard clicking and a bunch of exhausted interns typing away at computers, they probably still earn more than working at Bethesda though so I will put demands into the universe that you shall win that lottery one day!!

They're the goofiest looking chickens - they perpetually look like they woke up to a really bad hair day XD they're my favorite breed, but I am opposed to breeding more of them because their "funky" feather type makes them more vulnerable and they get sick so easily. But you're definitely allowed to openly laugh at them when you see what they look like XD

there is a mod that has wild chickens and nests that you can find and replant in your settlements - with new recipes and models for the chickens.   It also gives lootable nests so you can harvest the eggs just like the crops you plant.

So if the section was called "Disclaimer" would it still be an issue for you?  Because literally the only thing in that section is the disclaimer about vanilla compatibility and the statement to the effect of if you want to play vanilla then use a different loadout without Nuka Ride.  At some point you have to accept that a) you paid nothing for the mod, b) you don't have to use it, c) you didn't read the instructions, d) perhaps a more constructive feedback without your assumptions (i.e. could you move the vanilla-compatibility disclaimer near the top of the mod description, probably fits in with the "general recommendations" if you ask me).

 

I feel like reading through the mod description on page 1 there are plenty of clues of: it breaks certain vanilla quests, it shouldn't be used with other quest overhaul mods, it shouldn't be used with other world/location (cell) edits, etc. I read the whole thing the first time installed it, and read that disclaimer and understood what I was getting into.  Many mods the mod description isn't even maintained and you have to dig through 20k posts over 4 years to piece it together, so in my opinion JB does a great job of pulling together the information -- but at some point with some people it's going to be TLDR and no one can fix that.

You say this now until I point out...you can only harvest lemons from your own garden for lemonade while Keyshawn is there and never again 😱 XD (my ideas get more absurd and random as I go - the chickens were only the start). 

 

Seriously though, yeah, I'm so with you on that!  As is, it's already a fantastic storyline, it doesn't actually need anything changed or added to the way it plays through.  It's fun to come up with ideas and tweaks, but those are like extra sprinkles added to an already delicious, infused cupcake that lets you visit better times XD

 

I love these options also.  Don't get me wrong, I got me some Noritas that go full slutty mode from start to finish, but for my more personal playthroughs where I'm keeping it more to my own personality, I love being able to turn these down.  It makes it kinda fun to have that internal conflict thing that Corsican mentions depending on how you film your first scene, wanting something and denying it to yourself, which can only be done if you have a 'yes or no' option. Though, JB just fixed Savoy so I suddenly have great need for vacuum tubes from Diamond City 😶

 

I spend hours dancing for chips but then stopping at the 10 chip, like a tease.  I laugh when my sister has to film scenes for me to not traumatize me, I gets me laughing every single time.

Oh I have an idea that would tie in a bunch of plot points and work with a mod I was working on designing but the creation kit kind of caused my brain to explode.  I will put together an outline after work and see if any of it works for you

Ok, here are two I have. Wrote up a quick synopsis of each.

 

Grab a coffee if you want to read. The first one is much more advanced story wise. Not sure how I would adapt it to a mod as JB pointed out, you can't really do some things in a mod.

 

This is the first time writing, as may be obvious 😁

 

Any men folk should just skip, it's not the normal LL fare, you won't like it.

You glance over at your father's empty pod remembering he never made it home from work that day. He might have made it to one of the advanced pods...the same ones you and your mother were supposed to go to, except there wasn't enough warning.

 

You're captured before able to escape vault 111. Charles in desperation had sent in some of his men to see if your father or mother were there. They found you and mistreated you until Charles' lieutenant discovered who you were.

 

Brought in chains before Charles in the old Concord museum, you immediately recognize him and think things will be better.

 

Charles Weatherby (your prewar neighbor whose mailbox you ran down learning to drive) is after your father's work and immediately recognizes you. He doesn't know your role in your father's work, but he is determined to break you and find out where your father's lab is.

 

Among other torture and pain that Charles has in plan for you, is a turn strapped to the infamous table in front of the brothel, his lieutenant Marion's domain. Born from pain and betrayal from a young age, she sees you as a pampered pre-war princess that deserves nothing but pain and suffering.

 

You are thrown into a cell on the street outside the museum facing the brothel awaiting your fate. Marion has sold all of her tickets for that night and the number of men there awaiting your arrival is staggering, but before that happens.

 

You feel an immediate draw to a tall man walking in a group of four. You recognize Charles and his lieutenant from the vault, but the one man that has your attention is carrying a bladed helmet. For some reason he fascinates you. He turns to look down and face you in your cell, but it is clear he is fighting something. It is like he doesn't want to look at you, but he is unable to resist.

 

When he faces you, seeing his eyes you immediately know he is the one. His body tries to turn away, but he can't break eye contact and neither can you.

 

Eventually he reclaims control and continues on with the tour led by Charles.

 

Later that night, they come for you with Marion in the lead smiling from ear to ear waiting for you to experience the humiliation and degradation she has in store for you. The three of them drag you toward the table with a sign above proclaiming your innocence and prewar status, the men looking on barely able to contain their desire.

 

The forcefully strip you and strap you to the table and as the first man is about to have his way with you, the man with the eyes points his automatic rifle at the assembled group. Greatly outnumbered, he has no fear as he has you unstrapped from the table prepared to murder everyone there or die trying. His second follow's his boss' play, but it was clearly the tall man who was in charge.

 

You race over and hide behind him clutching desperately to his leg as he continues to wait for someone to make a stupid move, but only words are thrown about this night.

 

He gives you a vague idea of how to escape, but this is how it begins...

 

How will you handle that your mate has a wife and two mistresses?

 

How or will he ever come to terms with what he feels for you?

 

Unable to even drink in the prewar time, you struggle to find comfort in drugs and alcohol...coming to terms with the loss of your mother, possibly the loss of your father, this whole new world and its dangers, the man who steadfastly tries to acknowledge what you mean to him, dealing with men being men without any sort of societal governance free to do as they wish.

 

And then there's Charles who is not about to give you up sending bounty hunters after you thinking you'd make for a good wife after he plunders your father's lab.

You end up going to the hotel room with him, might as well drink some champagne and enjoy the day, but your boyfriend seems to be extra nervous and squirrelly. Your background makes you sensitive to these thing and you discover he tries to drug you.

 

You 'accidentally' break the glasses, and when he leaves to find his friend to find more drugs, you run out of the hotel to the hardware store near the museum and call your father. While waiting there, all the televisions on display are showing the apocalypse unfolding before you. You race out of the store, steal a bike and ride to Sanctuary Hills. You don't have a pod there, but that sure as hell won't stop you.

 

You bully your way up to the guard checking names against a list. You open your purse and briefly consider using your SR-1M Vektor pistol, but instead opt for the black credit card sized device and flash it in the guard's face. The guard is unfazed at first, but acquiesces when he realizes just who you really are, he decides to let the people inside figure out what to do with you and the shortage of pods.

 

You basically steal a pod and blisfully sleep for 200 hundred years.

 

Suddenly you are pulled from your pod by what looks like a well armed and poorly dressed biker gang reeking of their own filth. You aren't able to retrieve your purse and are smart enough not to look where you hid it. Pity, your Dad gave you that gun, you'll just have to collect it later.

 

You're dragged outside and shackled to other females awaiting God knows what although since there's no men shackled, you have a pretty good idea.

 

You can see the ruins of Sanctuary Hills and Concord. A smile graces your face as you think of your boyfriend hoping he died with a stiff cock and blue balls.

 

Brought back to the present, the slavers, bikers, criminals, or whatever they happen to be be are pleased with the lot of you. You are all force marched for most of the day and end up in a clearing. The men line you up after some of them deploy into the woods surrounding the makeshift camp.

 

You are unshackled and threatened with unending pain should you run.

 

The lead man commands you all to strip. You don't go first, and you sure don't want to go last. You want to be somewhere in the middle, you want to hide in the group. He is about to yell when some of the girl start to strip. You take a quick look around before following suit.

 

Each of you in turn is made to bend over a stump while the men thoroughly check out the areas you'd much prefer remain covered. Each female is then lightly caned five times as a warning.

The men begin inspecting you and become animated and excited to discover you still intact. You can see them huddle up discussing something in an animated and agitated manner. Their voices grow louder. "You can't afford her. She'll make us a fortune!" There is more aguing before "Enough! She is going to the auction."

 

They shuffle over to you, not quite ready to stop ogling you just yet and the leader leans down to look you in the eye when he speaks. "You are going to make us a fortune." Then to him cane man he said. "Goes easy on her. No permanent marks. I'll leave that to her new owner."

 

You continue to look at him as stroke after stroke burns your ass. You make no noise, you do not cry out, you just look at him with anger. You WILL kill this man some day. He calls back to his cane man. "Two more, harder." He smirks continuing to look you in the eye, but you've had worse from your brother the day you set him up. He had it coming.

 

Two more strokes fall and you make no noise. His anger is rising. "Give her three more, harder." The man behind you, concerned it will leave marks, makes his boss aware of the danger. The boss looks you in the eye. "You better make some noise or I won't stop until you're a bloody mess."

 

The three strokes fall. After the third stroke, you flatly and unemotionally say. "Ouch."

 

You are taken to auction and watch as each female is strung up naked for the men to bid on. Sadly, you've seen this kind of thing before never believing you would be the center of attention, but here you are and God only knows 'when' you are.

You see the men in the audience all dressed in some manner of 'armor' attempting to be intimidating or something, but they don't know who they're dealing with. Sure, you're a little girl compared to them, but you Dad is...was the Russian mafia boss on the east coast prewar and he taught you some shit. You would endure this as you did your brother.

 

The bidding starts and you are largely unconcerned with the outcome. You would get your revenge on all of these bastards.

 

You hear them extol your virtues..."prewar" and "virgin". Most of them have a hard time believing, but you bide your time and wait.

 

You aren't sure how much time has gone by, but the bidding must be over as the shouting has stopped. You hear some men sounding pissed...probably those that were outbid. You see one man stand wearing what looks like a tuxedo...you figure fashion exists at least in some measure.

 

You're escorted from the stage and the other man with your new owner drapes a blanket across your shoulders sheltering you from the chill in the air that you now feel. You follow them in silence waiting, watching, learning.

 

 

As time goes on, you realize you're attracked to your master. Is it his power and strength or something else? You two end up becoming quite close.

 

Unfortunately one day, a man named Kellogg observes you fidgeting with your black credit card device and he knows exactly who you are and tells your master.

 

Word spreads quickly around Nuka World when they find out you are a relative of the vicious and notorious Russian gang taking over most of Boston. There was a massacre of Nuka World raiders by the Russians. Someone had sold out the Nuka World raiders. Most of those slaughtered and tortured left behind friends and loved ones of some nature...and now they all know who you are.

 

Your master lost his beloved wife in that massacre.

 

Can he save you from the town and their vengeance?

If you ever manage to make this, let me know, I'd definitely give it a playthrough!  It sounds sorta like both would be best suited as their own individual mods, not so much an alternate start or add-on, but sorta based on the world of this mod and CS?  Honestly this super reminds me a lot of Slavers, like that more dark and depressing environment, and no choice is a "good" choice 

 

A lot of this seems like it'd be pretty hard to bring to life, but maybe if you use like, a ton of cutscenes?  I also do know a few guys who would probably like this sort of storyline too

So I ran into a bug. When doing the Mule run for Nisha on the Norita side;

Talking to Solomon doesn't update the quest from 'Meet with the DC contact', it teleports Norita into his house, Sophie is teleported outside of the 'play area' (basically behind the door). If you tcl to talk to her, all goes (assumingly) as 'scripted', but the door back to DC remains locked; And you can never hand the 'package' to Solomon (if you pick the lock to get out), because the first 'Meet with the DC contact' never updated.
