I am using vortex, for better or worse.

I remember, this one is a culprit.

Universal Working Bathroom Fixtures (CWSS and DLCs).esp

Uninstall it. As for the rest, everything looks good. I don't know how my mod behaves with so many mods, though.

My suggestion is that you load a save before Mason tells you to go to Corsican (that's when he runs a script that sends Corsican to Golden Globes).

Honestly this has been the first hiccup, roughly 25 hours through a Norita run. Other than some face gen things, thanks for the update TODD :?

Thank you for your help.

I also see he is using ss2 that changes a ton of things. Also he have the nukaride world patch cwss patch does not look like its loading after that too.

No problems with CWSS features in Nuka world so far, as too issues with SS2 changes I haven't progressed far enough for issues to have popped up. If they do I will disable SS2, was already planning for it if need be.

Just a simple modding rule to follow that would prevent a lot of issues is to load any patches after the things it affects. MO2 now handles those things really cool. It will refuse to move a patch up before a thing it changes.

Man, SS2 is VERY script heavy. Imho, it’s only a matter of time before you have issues. My opinion ofc but you should only play NR and use the required / recommended mods in a play through.

Maid in Steel quest for me still has the mini skirt issue, where regardless of what you do Larsen complains about it at payment time.   I even went so far as to keep wearing the maid outfit along with the gym clothes to make sure it was never off....

in order that they happen in quest - 1st put outfit on, request money for groceries, meet the overboss, and after workout

hmm how bad is loot with M02, I just looked and NukaRide is way up at the top of the right pane....its at the bottom of left pane as it should be for overrides and such.   Does the right pane use the same priority as the left? i.e lower has more priority or is it reversed for when you sort it.   I know you can put rules into it (Loot) so should be able to tell it to sort NR and patches in the proper order as has been described.

Fixed the issue with the tattoo's been playing mod for about 2 hours. It's probably an issue with hhs but with the aaf animations the pc is seeming to float over the other actor in scenes. What am I doing wrong? I haven't seen anything that could be obviously causing this

Seems that The High Heel System lifted my character up automatically when sitting on furniture.

Is there any way to disable this function? Or is this a bug or something?

Yes AAF stops and sits on gathering position data, this is the only time I have seen this issue, this one particular scene. Did a full Norita run on this mod list with no issue with AAF.

I'm having the same problem as you. How did you fix it?

So if the section was called "Disclaimer" would it still be an issue for you?  Because literally the only thing in that section is the disclaimer about vanilla compatibility and the statement to the effect of if you want to play vanilla then use a different loadout without Nuka Ride.  At some point you have to accept that a) you paid nothing for the mod, b) you don't have to use it, c) you didn't read the instructions, d) perhaps a more constructive feedback without your assumptions (i.e. could you move the vanilla-compatibility disclaimer near the top of the mod description, probably fits in with the "general recommendations" if you ask me).

I feel like reading through the mod description on page 1 there are plenty of clues of: it breaks certain vanilla quests, it shouldn't be used with other quest overhaul mods, it shouldn't be used with other world/location (cell) edits, etc. I read the whole thing the first time installed it, and read that disclaimer and understood what I was getting into.  Many mods the mod description isn't even maintained and you have to dig through 20k posts over 4 years to piece it together, so in my opinion JB does a great job of pulling together the information -- but at some point with some people it's going to be TLDR and no one can fix that.

I’m suggesting the addition of a disclaimer to grab attention, as I think some users might skim through the post and miss important details—like I did—and end up posting it as a bug. When I saw the 'Uninstall' header, I didn’t expect it to mention that this mod breaks vanilla quests. Typically, I expect mod authors clarify whether a mod can or cannot be removed mid-playthrough, or provide related details about uninstallation in the "Uninstall" section.

Reinstall High Heel System and choose the AAF compatibility this time.

Should not behave like that. I would recommend you to look at the options in the High Heel System MCM or else go to the Nexus page and search if someone reported the same thing.

It's a bug in HHS and has been persistent - lots of reports and people trying to help solve it 🖤

Some people have fixed this by:

reinstall and fixed with proper install settings

moving skeleton and heels very low on priority list

toggle 1st/3rd person or opening pipboy

I personally find that removing articles of clothes worn in certain slots and putting them back on (for me during NR, I keep 2 collars in my quick menu anyway, my two favorites, and then just toggle between the 2 collars will instantly stop levitating but it works with removing and putting back on some heels as well) works best/fastest when this happens

Noted. And good to see your character no longer looks like someone's mother. 😜

You're too kind to that particular preset.  We both know my stay-in-reality preset has a photo-wallet in her purse with at least 1 picture of a grandkid XD

I also keep forgetting this one exists, of a mixed up voice line to Larsen before the first Poker Night

Spoiler

It's in the Larsen dialogue, where he offers you the outfit, and if you turn down the outfit at any point there is a line about how you have your own outfits.  The audio, however, is the "I'd like to go hunting with Mr Brett" (which makes it sound almost like a threat lol "hell no, mr captain, I would like to go hunting with Brett" actually sounds more like something I would say to this particular man, but pretty sure that is not correct lol)

Always assume any mod that is an alternate start will start your game off in an alternative way that will likely alter the rest of the game as well until the mod is finished (which this makes it clear that it is unfinished)

Never uninstall an alternate start mod mid-game, and with uninstall instructions always keep in mind that those include an "at your own risk" clause regardless.  Realistically if you don't like a mod, go back to a save where you did not have it enabled and disable the mod or start a new game without it

Try asking for things you want in a constructive, understanding, respectful way.  Don't go in all hot with demands and accusations, riddled with insults and take your frustration that you caused, out on someone who may actually give you what you want.  I'm certain I become a lot when I start posting, I practically spam these poor people with reports and suggestions and replies, including this one which frankly doesn't deserve my time at all and I'm only doing because you just don't seem to get that you're in the wrong here.  Even here, you go on the defensive, "I'm suggesting" we know what you're doing, "I expect mod authors clarify" well who are you to hold any human who is providing any service to you, to your idealistic expectations???

Spoiler

The expectations statement is exactly what pushed me to actually say something, despite having seen that whole thing go off earlier in the week.  Maybe mod authors expect those who use their mods to read the whole freaking page but clearly on the internet we must all subvert our expectations, huh?  And I did, truly, try so hard not to add toxicity to this already toxic situation because neither the mod author nor the other amazing, kind, patient people I've encountered here should have to deal with it but you just keep coming back for more of it.  And then you claim rights to your expectations being met from someone I highly value and respect.  Damn, buddy, what a clear statement that was as to why you're so focused on this subject instead of moving on - and having the need to respond each time you get push back...

Several people have been polite, you've gotten your response.  Maybe in the future there will be a big bold statement to leave your whines in the whine section only after you've read the full page, maybe it'll give a tldr, maybe so few people out of the number of those who use this mod have an issue with it so nothing changes because it's not worth it.  Time will tell.  But this is not how you get what you want and frankly rewarding your poor behavior with giving you what you want almost seems counterproductive, but if the author thinks maybe it'll be helpful then it'll happen

Next time just read the instruction manual and don't complain something doesn't work until you've done the troubleshooting - which includes - reading the frigging manual....

Just reached the end of the Nora route sadly which took around 34 hours.

Brilliant work as always and the bit with the Strange Man in DC reading the mod list was inspired, it picked up 2 (which were turned off in the MCM) which felt quite spooky 😃

I'll keep a copy of the last save for any future updates but may take this pc out into the normal game now that she has a back story, so to speak

I never really thought about the desk since I just unlock it with willpower but if you get the marker in the Mayor's bedroom and you're struggling to find the clue near the marker

  Hide contents

there is a hat on the floor near the dresser that is the clue, activate it and it triggers the next part

this quest is soooooo unique and fun like a little puzzle kinda, where you'll have some clues you actually have to find on your own 🥰

Thanks! Now, I feel kinda stupid, but I guess I learned to look longer for the clues.

Don't feel stupid for it 🖤 I knew there was likely one I was just missing and it still took me longer than I'd like to admit to find it too

Spoiler

And I almost missed an optional clue entirely my first playthrough, which turns out to make a difference in the outcome - That's part of the fun in the quest is you actually get to play detective.  I feel like I'm at one of those dinner parties with the murder mystery hehe

Is there a point in the main quest of FO4 where starting this mod makes no sense or crashes things?

If I understand what you are asking, there are incompatabilities.

You will NOT be able to play vanilla Nuka World (in case that is something you want to do).

You may kill certain NPCs in vanilla which will mess up your Nuka Ride experience. I know JB tried to insulate us from this mostly, but there are still NPCs you can't kill without potentially breaking Nuka Ride.

Not sure of any other type issues. If you can, run a separate profile for this for best experience. 😁
