Nah, that guts, innuendo thing was a real pain in the ass that I vowed never to do again. I'm not the best friend of formulas and calculations, I'm more of a letter person, so anything to do with numbers repels me. However, I do want to bring back anal training and bring it up to 200 as a goal, with a gold buttplug and lots more in between, courtesy of Kali.

 

Speaking of letters, I have no problem with the amount of dialogue that needs to be written. But doing dialogues with a character that is not present (let's say, a phone call or, in the next update you will see it, when you ring the doorbell of a house and the character answers “from inside his house”), has another system.

 

That system has two limitations:

 

The dialogues on the other side must only contain one line of dialogue. It starts to bug at the second line of dialogue, so one line only.

For some reason, I guess engine stuff, the other person's dialog has an annoying half/one second delay.

 

I'll make sure we can hug the sister at the end of version 6.9. I thought there was no animation but look at THIS 😱 (new hard requirement incoming...?) The forbidden romance is a central axis of my next plot, and it should end with the protagonist accepting and supporting her sister, without implying that she gets along with her new brother-in-law of course.

Yeah...it's been a while, and I really wanted to see everything that's changed. If I had my way, I'd take 3-4 days and finish it off top to bottom in one sitting but as it is I've been going at it little by little slow and steady.

 

Y'know, I hadn't thought about the aspect of her living surrounded by sex but masturbation anims was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the dildo assets. Its kind of a shame that you don't want to invest in that system more but doing what you don't like is a recipe for burnout so I really hope I or someone else can pick it up at some point. Involving Kali in the buttplug training seems to be a no brainer and I'm glad at least the anal training skill will be making a comeback.

 

It's a really interesting problem with the other dialogue system...I wonder if there isn't a workaround... What I am about to say probably guaranteed stupid but maybe....instead of using that system, we just use the regular dialogue system? It only needs to have two characters present right? Is it possible to somehow make the other person invisible? Or hide the other person in some way....maybe swap out the other persons character model for a static one such as a door or a telephone? If I'm calling Sofie, I don't actually need to talk to Sophie...I could just talk to telephone Sophie who is a person who has the appearance of a telephone and the voice of Sophie...or well...the name of sophie when we talk to it. I don't know if it is possible...Just throwing out some ideas to see if it sticks! 

 

The hug animations seem promising although it seems to have some limitations about what body to use? All the same I'm really excited! Thank you so much!! :D

Also, I can respect the story and sisters wishes but I can't respect Maxon...I really didn't like him in the Norita route. Its weird...I liked a bunch of characters in the Nora route that I absolutely despise in the Norita route even when they do the same or even worse in the Nora route. Like Mags and William...I liked Mags in the Nora route and I thought William was funny...but in the Norita route, I absolutely hate the guts of both.... especially Mags because bitch! one note saying "P.S: Sorry about my brother" is hardly an afterthought, forget an apology. She can't control her retard brother how is she controlling the operators, stupid bitch! Sorry...end rant.

At the end of 6.9, for Norita's Route, the Overboss is unavailable. So there's no way to leave NukaRide for the Commonwealth with the scooter.
Couldn't there be a solution, while waiting for the Overboss to return in 7.0 (well, maybe, I don't know your plans), to get permission to use the scooter? This could be requested from one of the Overboss's lieutenants present in the game at the end of 6.9.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. Uninstall UAP or reinstall it by choosing the appropriate options.

My mod doesn't actually use UAP at all.

I didn't think it would take me so long to get the next update, but a lot of things have come up that limited my time. 6.9 is not finished yet and when I finish everything will be available again.

 

I don't know what to tell you to avoid breaking the game. Maybe use another profile to explore the wasteland while you wait for my update.

Yeah, that's usually the time to make a named hard save via 'savegame (insert name here)' console commands.

Then start a new game to 'dick around' in. Personally, I love going to all the populated settlements and seeing how many people I can wipe out.

There's no problem, take all the time you need :) Yes, I'm making a savegame and I'll pick up this character later.

I went back to an older play through (6.8) as Nora with v6.9h.  I'm in Night Fever at the diamond city jail with Keyshawn.  I don't remember exactly what is supposed to happen but something doesn't seem right.  I went through the dialog with Keyshawn (with my PC doing poses).  Scene goes black and dialog options start.  After 3  responses, black screen clears, Keyshawn is working on PA, PC is posing.  A couple more dialog options with Keyshawn then scene ends and then I get a "Failed to play AAF scene, advancing stage" message.  Did something change or did I mess up with using an older save?

Thoughts you definitely never asked for XD But I read it in full and while I'm still a little iffy on the make peace part as we already are about to get a similar quest, more visits are sure to lead to some hilarious moments so I'd never turn them down

I actually really like that spot for some kind of bar/grille/pub types spot.  I kinda thought from the first time seeing it that it would be an interesting spot to have some kind of like...er...sex pad type place that serves drinks, similar to Seven Bar in its original concept (sorta like meant to be a whorehouse with beer) but for traders instead of factions like BoS and with truckers and traders putting up specialty items from their hometown to advertise, the same way truckers irl will kinda meet up and do those big cookout type events where everyone brings a specialty food item from their hometown and just all cook and eat together, but at a bar instead of a rest stop like irl.  Having a consistent specialty item would definitely be a draw to the spot especially for the traders who may not have a lot of consistency on the road and something unique to talk about on their travels is great advertising for the Truck Stop

Psh, you knew I'd be here about them.  The chickens.  Always me going on about some chickens hehe.  Will never turn down possible chicken content, and this is simply more chicken nitpick on how feather puppies function, but, instead of "buy his chickens" for realism purposes it'd be easier (both if this is meant to be realistic, and probably also for creating the quest) if he is offering to give them eggs to be hatched out (either at the farm, or at the truck stop, that part wouldn't really matter). 

 

If we are aiming for "best eggs I've ever eaten" there also definitely needs to be a joke about the color of the eggs - they should be either blue or an olive green shell and it needs to totally be a comment in there somewhere (probably concern at first lol).  My hens who lay the blue eggs give me the best eggs of all 30+ hens but are also dumb as rocks (one of them is literally irl missing right now, we "lost" her about a week ago...which is why the missing chickens thing keeps coming to mind - she gets lost constantly and we always find her an acre or so away just trying to hatch out unfertilized eggs because she's been away from the roosters for so long laying them lol).  The good part of these derpy chickens constantly running off is they find better food sources and so their eggs always taste a million times better than the brown, cream, or pink XD She may be my dumbest hen but Chica makes up for it by the most delicious omelets I've ever eaten 🤤

Oh gosh.  I'm so torn on the Uncle thing.  I love it.  I laughed so hard imagining this, but I'm also sorta still digging the "Daddy" commentary from her and Isabella, and can only hope I manage to corrupt Kali to at least one day sarcastically/teasingly refer to him as that also.  It's probably my inner brat sneaking out but the annoyance and denial he kinda sorta totally loved that moment in the apartment had me in stitches laughing XD

Do you have another instance of Nuka Ride, any personal patches? A problematic example is usually when people make those Complex Item Sorter style automatic patches, or when they make those bashed patches. Those types of patches have old Nuka Ride instances hosted in them that cause the game to not recognize the new content.

 

But it sounds like there is another instance of Nuka Ride or a personal patch or a load order problem.

Oof, well crap...okay...there's definitely an issue somewhere in this area of the quest.  Door is totally irrelevant to the issue but...you're definitely not getting the key after Sophie removes the package, which is preventing that comment that you've left the package inside.  I easily can just setstage to move past this, but it's definitely not registering that you're supposed to exit his house as expected

 

I almost always have the Bermuda triangle door issue, it's in the base game so I'm so used to it by now that I just automatically know to sit/wait to make Sophie appear, never been an issue, though I did reload a save a few times until she just teleported in on her own with me, to make sure my "waiting" wasn't causing an issue...

 

but still getting this sequence of events:

Absolutely everything plays normally (including the new scene, could it be somehow related to injecting the new little scene with the ashtray maybe?) for me up until the AAF scene.  The scene plays, totally normally, Sophie with gloves on, table appears, scene plays for me with the mule pose over the table, scene ends...it's directly after the AAF scene that it's hanging up on me 🤔

 

Outside of setting the next stage, just to see if any normal little fix might help I tried:

 

Reloading the quest entirely to the stage where Corsican gives me the quest

Restart my computer (just in case) 

If I use willpower to just unlock the door, no hostility with DC but Solomon will only use vendor options (probably because I never unlocked the door properly, with the key)

Picking lock causes hostility if not using willpower

Did try to use Cheat Terminal to give myself a copy of Solomon's key but for some reason, it won't open most of the Cheat Terminal menus (usually this means that there is some serious script lag, but not always) 

Can console command in his key, but it is the same as using willpower to unlock the door, it's not triggering "receiving" the key I'm assuming

Try to just hang out in his house staring at the floor (to try to let scripts catch up and such) - waited around 20 irl minutes and gosh is his floor just so dirty XD

 

As always I just updated from one version to another, no new mods or changes in LO or anything.  I did use my normal "alternate start" SMU but that's nothing I don't usually do

Dunno if these will help in any way but directly after the AAF scene this is the result for me at least, for checking variables and stages:

Yeah, it looks just like when I got stuck in there. That waypoint marker on the door looks to be like it's not being able to properly finish the _NukaRide_Apollo 25 quest step (Meet DC's Contact). So that 25 step is the real issue. When I manually set that as completed (after first being teleported into the house), then stepped it forward, all works as it should (the teleport into the house as well (Sophie is in the house)).

ya wasn't sure if he had gotten to it yet, and the mod I was working on was around make a place Norita could cook at and source materials from vendors with the other girls help needed to be inside the park region.   Also the talk of the chickens made me think of the special omelet so figured I could tie them in.   A non raider place for the girls is what made me think this is a true peace offering as well a true investment chance as not everyone who has money is interested in a place packed with raiders behaved or not.   I was almost going to put in no weapons allowed but I am not sure that is even possible in the wasteland....

I had a similar result, step 28 gives me the key as it should, but then I still get that vendor dialogue with Solomon, to safely go through that part I had to do stage 28, 29, and then 40.  After that, it seems to work properly, I got the purse even though I couldn't actually "have" the conversation with Sophie.

 

I tried just for S&G's to setstage 25 and it just teleports me back to Savoy with Sophie regardless of when/where I set it, and won't progress from there for me so you may have like, chosen other options or something (I am brutally honest with Sophie about what I'm asking for help with, flirt with Savoy, call Nisha Auntie, I dunno if any of these choices could impact what you'd need to do to fix it) but this definitely did not work in my specific case XD

 

Definitely sounds like the same problem though, just different solutions (so far, anyway - I'm still tinkering with what works and does not)

 

Edit: Aaaand apparently that only worked *once* for some reason, I now had to set the return to NW as well as Sophie's goodbye, but then once the quest completes I can return to Corsican (and still get my fav outfit from Auntie) 🙃

My hair is too pretty for me to be trying to make these mods, because it sounds like I'd perpetually be ripping my hair out XD

This makes me wonder, maybe in the future, put new updates in a test folder like you do in Slavers, until people find all the little wormies hiding in your mod and misplaced voices and such, that way you have a stable version you know works and then updates with new features and quests can be in the test folder so that those of us who kinda like finding this stuff can just play through a few passes to make sure it works for you before it goes in the main folder?  (and then I consider you'll also get 500 questions of "iS thE TeSt verSiOn STABLEEEEE????" XD yeah I see those in CS a lot and they kinda make me giggle

 

Well.  At least they didn't kill the children.  When I get stuck, I figure I'm gonna reload anyway so it's like the cupcake world, all fake right?  So I enforce godlike abilities and killall gets rid of those few pesky kids in DC who are running about still screaming while I'm coated in the blood of their friends and family 😶 (Also every time in Nora route I will hard save and then break into Solomon's house at night and then plant a land mine on him and watch him kaboom....always makes me feel a little better before I reload and continue my journey XD)

Naa. I didn't 'set stage', I used 'SetStageCompleted _NukaRide_Apollo 25 1' once I teleported into Solomon's house. 

After that, I used 'SetStage _NukaRide_Apollo 26 (and) 27' and it ported me and Sophie into the house without issue. And it worked fine from there on.

Naa, it wasn't because of you. It was because Solomon being such a douche. And when I get frustrated... Well, I tend to go 'full tilt', and he had it coming. You even said he was being one yourself, with having Sophie jack an ashtray.  Plus 'Grandpa' gave us that rifle; I just turned it into a WMD. Because even if fully unarmored, if I got a rifle in hand, stopping me, is nigh impossible.

 

And savantladylilith I only didn't kill the kids, because BGS marked them as 'Essential'. I would have, if I could have. The same would have been done for the Mayor, and Dr. Sun; But both are also marked as 'Essential'.

 

Lesson of the day:

Never give me a rifle; Because I am become death. Destroyer of the wasteland.

AKA. Fixing what I broke in the previous update. 💔

  • Safe to update midsave.
  • Update "Nuka Ride World Patch" to the new version.
  • Added a dildo to the apartment. Works for Nora and Norita. It unlocks automatically if you've passed the audition. @ckworth
  • If you load a save inside your apartment, you have to exit and enter for the dildo to appear.
  • Using it will lower your libido and boost your self-esteem.
  • In the near future, Kziitd will release an amazing set of new animations for AAF and there will be more variety when it comes to choosing masturbation animations, with dildos included.

  • The AAF scene between Nora and Keyshawn during "Night Fever" should now work correctly.
  • Fixed the scene between Norita and Sophie at Solomon's house that was affecting quest progress. @Wandering_Mania @savantladylilith
  • I put a new marker at Solomon's house so Sophie no longer spawns behind the door.
  • The scene between Nora/Norita with the Mirelurk King should no longer be considered aggressive, so Sex Attributes won't trigger trauma.
  • The beach ball and the "Love" letter sign can now be built in the workshop.
  • Adolf and Cito were supposed to appear with mohawks during "Mrs. White Debauchery." However, it rarely worked. You need "Head Part Extended" from @lee3310 to fix this.

 

[Update]  It seems that HeadParts Extended eventually causes all characters' expressions to become emotionless. Not right away, but eventually. There are no grimaces, squinting eyes, or smiles. First Test report. Install with caution.

 

  • This mod will also allow you to see the Overboss and Gage with bruises when you enter the Nuka Market during "The Nuka Club".
  • PS: If anyone wants to help me, I'd like to know if having "Head Part Extended" installed makes faces gradually become expressionless again. It's a suspicion I had but I need to test it for longer.

  • I still can't fix Adolf appearing naked during "Mrs. White Debauchery" so I decided to leave his outfit alone. The simple fact of wanting to change his outfit for this mvie makes him naked, it's very strange.

Some dialogue inconsistencies.

 

  • During "Not a Ride," Norita and Isabella sometimes refer to Saturday's party as "tonight's party." This was a plot change that I didn't fully change in the dialogues. There are no new voices yet.

Wow, thanks for the update! I love this mod.

Maybe you already fixed this, but I discovered a CTD during Nora's mule quest. I'm going to download and re-test with 6.9.0i.

Details:

  1. Playing Nora's route, doing the first Mule run for Nisha after Bunker Hill.
  2. Chose Clements for the delivery.
  3. At the chapel, chose the orgy option.
  4. After the first couch scene, talk to Clements who suggests F+F scene while the men rest. Immediate CTD.

By talking to Clements and choosing not to orgy, the quest moves to stage 1000 normally.

Nice JB.. Looks like it's time to update again.

 

Also quick question:

When is the Nuka Apartment Garden's workshop suppose to unlock for Norita?

I'm at the part just after you unlock the bar dances in DC, and unlock a bunch of posters; But I still can't use that garden workshop.

I'm wondering if that is intended or a bug.

Maybe you already fixed this, but I discovered a CTD during Nora's mule quest. I'm going to download and re-test with 6.9.0i.

Details:

  1. Playing Nora's route, doing the first Mule run for Nisha after Bunker Hill.
  2. Chose Clements for the delivery.
  3. At the chapel, chose the orgy option.
  4. After the first couch scene, talk to Clements who suggests F+F scene while the men rest. Immediate CTD.

By talking to Clements and choosing not to orgy, the quest moves to stage 1000 normally.

It looks like 6.9.0i still crashes the same way.

I tried to note the quest objective progress with SQV _NukaRide_Mule:

  1. At 20 ... before talking to Clements in the Chapel.
  2. At 23 ... while Clements removes the drug. btw, the animation here gets messed up. Nora stands up a few seconds after the animation starts. This is abnormal--when doing this animation in Nisha's den or with Solomon, it works fine.
  3. At 26 ... before talking to Clements after the scene with him and male resident.

I think JB is just trying to warn us of the crash dangers inherent in Nuka Rush. 😜

well...about me...i run to test the dildo...and...nothing...i click on it...and nothing....how frustrating...idk why because every others stuffs are working good!!

well ... maybe later...so i have to be virtuous )))...well i mean norita has to be virtuous

Test this for me. Do you have “Nuka World Patch” installed? Uninstall it for a moment and test it again. I have a suspicion that one of the posters collision is interfering with you touching the dildo.

It seems inherent in the new AAF and the way I scripted the scene. That is, it only happens with AAF 1.1.1 and not with previous versions. I will test it and see what can be done.

I still have a lot of plans for that place. For example, a garden pool party with the girls. But it's going to be a disaster if people already start building in the garden. Construction of things that will impede the passage of my NPCs.

 

There are going to be too many bug reports and the solution will not be liked: you will have to remove everything you built so that the girls can sit in the pool.

 

So... it looks like the garden workshop is going to be the last unlockable in this mod. When the story ends.

 

You can use the “Workshop Framework” to unlock it. In the MCM section of the Workshop Framework you will find an option that says “Claim this workshop”.

 

Just remember to build responsibly xD
