So, it turned out to be an XDI issue. Not a camera or Nuka Ride problem. I put "hidemenu dialoguemenu" in the console and upon aiming back at Corsican menu was fixes and scene proceed normally.

Unfortunately towards the end of my playthrough I have become stuck in a dialogue. I attach a screenshot of the exact moment. It is the start of recording the golden girls video. Clicking or pressing the associated numbers does nothing to advance the scene. This is not the first time this happens in a dialogue in nuka ride. Normally I can save and reload to fix it, but this time the save button is greyed out.

I have tried using https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/74034 to toggle the dialogue cinematic camera on/off to no avail.

Any suggestions to move the scene forward would be appreciated as I want to see the end of the mod.
Edit: Managed to move it forward, see next post for method.

Thanks. Little by little I have been learning to get the hang of the dialogues. This part is a bit complex because the two girls are constantly posing in the bed, and by posing, you have to make certain adjustments in the dialogues. 

 

The game seems to wait for the pose to finish to continue with the dialogues, but it glitches itself and never ends up continuing. It won't let you choose a dialog. 

 

Now, I discovered the fix months after finishing those quests, so I'm patching as the reports come in. The bug is random, in my experience it's not the fault of any mod, and luckily it's fixable. MAYBE there are mods out there that favor this bug.

Can some covert all of the from this mod to TWB as the body clips badly through the armor if I use a big breasted character? If I use a small breasted character then it is fine. But 99% of the time I just use big breasted characters.

You may have even spoken to Protectron, but chose the dialog that "you have other things to do". He stayed waiting for you, but you forgot that and returned to Nuka World yourself.
Now you have a marker at Nuka Station, because system shows you that you need to go back to Diamond City and talk to Protectron.

 

PS Remember one simple rule: in NR you don't need to travel by yourself. There is always someone or something to drive you.

 

I have no idea what you're talking about. I always use the protectron in diamond city.

iirc this is probably one of the very few times he will not talk to you.

 

it should go like this (roughly) when you start NR (vanilla start)

talk to Duke (optional) then Charon (only brings you to NW this 1 time) and get transported to Nuka World

talk with Kaiser and he films a short scene (promotional video)

talk with Kaiser again and he sends you to Shank (i think this is where "Becoming a Porn Start" starts)

(at this point Kaiser was not talking to me anymore)

go talk to Shank and get dressed, talk to Shank again and he sends you to Mason (i think this is where "The Audition" starts)

talk with Mason and do his audition, after which he sends you to talk with Corsican

talk with Corsican (film movie "The Plumber" and he should give you apartment) and go visit apartment and return to Corsican after 24 hours

when you talk with Corsican the quest "The Audition" should finish.

talk with Corsican again and agree to help set up studio and he sends you to DC (quest The Motorcycle should start up)

(by this time Kaiser should be talking to you again)

Kaiser will take you back to just outside DC (you need to progress quest "The Motorcycle" far enough for the Nuka-Tron to take you back to NW)

 

i might have the chronology slightly off in the above.

 

one other note if NR sends you out of NW it will give you a ride, and there will be a ride back.

generally if Kaiser gives you a ride to the Commonwealth there should be a Nuka-Tron just outside DC that will give you a ride back.

if you get the Scooter (later in the questline) and you use it to go out of NW, you can use it to get back to NW

there is a quest with William where he gives you a ride out, and a ride back also.

the reason i mention this is if you get a ride out of NW and come back some other way quest markers may (will) not update properly, but usually the 

quest will, providing you can find and do what you are supposed to.

Quick question.

Gave 6.5 a go and it went flawless. Not sure if I agree with the toned-down OB, but that may be the Commonwealth Slavers experience still fresh in my mind.

 

However; going back to 6.4.7 and giving it another go since my last try crashed, it has been smooth until now.

I'm now on the 1st BOS movie [PORN MOVIE: PROPAGANDA]. After I complete the first scene, Sis loses all voice files. Also, she gets dressed in her BOS uniform mid sex animation. Is she suppose to lose he voice files at this point or can I consider this the first instance of my game getting borked again? This happened my first try and suspect it may be happening again.

I think I did something wrong, I got to NR, did audition, sex up pack leader, went back to studio, "becoming a pornstar" quest stared, shot the plumber video, got paid,, and quest says "check for more work", but Koriscan won't talk to me. 

I'm running NR 6.5 "test" version.  So far everything is exactly the same as my first runs on 6.4, but its hung up at "becoming a pornstar" beginning,,

I must have done something wrong?  I chose Vanilla vault girl, NOT using "start me up"

 

EDIT UPDATE:  SetStage  _NukaRide_Movies 41 got me the apartment key, but I am worried that this is not the path for NR "test" version, or is it?

Curious J.B. : If I use my AAF to "end scene" in NR sex animations,, can that mess up the scripts too?  Should I just let them play out to make sure everything clicks?  Im on the "TEST " version

Look and read carefully my post where you got the link to the test version. The link is in my signature. Also see my warning about the type of content that is present in this version, in case you expect other type of content. 

 

Edit: There should be no problem if you finish the scene manually. I do it all the time. Maybe in the first quests it will take a few seconds for the quest to update, but usually the effect is immediate.

When I created OB I always wanted him to be a psychopathic and hateable guy. Then the mod got bigger and I had to calm him down a bit more.

 

Yeah, he doesn't act like a psychopath n this route, he acts the same way he always acted with Lucy when you go to the Abernathy farm, or with Kali, it's basically because he's a father and that affects the way he interact with other girls. 

 

Many quests will have a lower tonality in this route, at least as far as the OB is concerned.

Corsican gives you apartment (and the key) and tells you to check it out and come back in 24 hours.

I can't make it through the Nora route without killing is his ass at least 3 times. You achieved that goal in spades!

The vanilla route is tolerable and a LOT more plausible. And fun!

The Young route is totally plausible. As he knows that treating his bitches well, in his misogynist way, will actually gain higher levels of loyalty and provide him with greater assets. And being a father does change even the most hardened asshole. Even if they don't "publicly" show it.

The other two, he'd be assassinated in his sleep.

Just finished another play through with the latest 6.50i, and getting to the petty stuff.

Bodies and facial features look just great.

Lipsync files are pretty awful. They need a run through the synch compiler? They seldom match what is actually said.

How can we change hairstyles? Is this compatible with KS Hairs? What is recommended? I can't handle the painted-on tresses... Especially the mother.

Only actual bug I will mention is that the dinner scenes in the garden are still problematic. The PC is locked, waiting to be called.

When the tenant calls them over, they are too far away to activate - and remain locked. This is sort of game breaking.

First time I was able to player.moveto, and get in range of where I could activate. Second time I had to resort to setstage. Never a good solution.

 

You mention that you added hunts two and three. Those don't seem to be accessible yet.

 

Back in my hole, awaiting the new year. Thanks again for the best of 2023 end mods.

Cool cool, if this helps I have done  a little testing myself.

 

- I accept the quest from Charlotte. All good.

- I don't go upstairs and call SetStage _NukaRide_Propaganda 500. Sis and Lucy spawn back in the lobby, Sis is fine.

 

- I accept quest from Charlotte.

- I go upstairs and manually proceed with any  SetStage _NukaRide_Propaganda 20; or 30, 40, or 50.  Sis breaks.

The problem seems to be somewhere in the animation calls.

At that point, I am unable to switch from third person to first person. This happens often enough, that it is always the first thing I try.

When I say locked - it is really locked. Can not open pip boy or change view.

One other situation: Two times a scene ended, and the screen was black. I could move and spin, but could see nothing.

Fix was to save the game and reload. Vision was fine after that.

Today I was thinking about changing that a bit. 

 

THE PROBLEM is that the tenant/Larsen say: 

 

"Hey, girl, come here, come here. Take the dishes." 

 

And naturally you want to go, but you are locked into your position. The girl before going wants to know how the meal was, and only after getting an answer, control reverts back to the player. 

 

So my solution would be, directly, to eliminate the "How was the meal?", and unlock the player right after the "Hey, girl, come here, take the dishes".

 

Axary told me how to correct the lip movements. But it is too time consuming. Doing the voices already ate up too much of my time. It's impossible to write a story/script the story/create assets/create interiores/make FG and CBBE/do the voices. It was a nice experience, but I don't want to burn myself out.

 

I'm sure I didn't say I added more hunts. I think I have commented on my plans, but they are just plans for now.

The pros and cons of having three viable models to pick from.   I think there were a few users who were active who were using TWB (about a year or two ago), but they never offered their work to @JB. You may have to either do it yourself (and share your work so others will benefit) or do what I might end up doing, converting to FG.    I sympathize with you (as FG looks really good in NR screen shots), but at least JB is still supporting CBBE.

I find someone to do it just new outfits. All of the other outfits already have TWB support. I will just keep this body as FG doesn't appeal to me at all.

Sure, but you have to send me your buffout log so we can look at it and try to find the culprit. Does this happen to you all the time?

I should note I had no CTDs in my testing. And the solution to the lockouts sounds good.

Heaven forbid that we tie you down with busy work. Can we get a volunteer to hep you with your lip synch adjustments?

And what can we do on our own about those hair styles?
